LEGO Certified Store to open in Italy

Posted by ,

If you live in or around Milan or are visiting the area this summer you'll be delighted to hear that a LEGO Certified Store is opening there this year. Google Translate tells us that:

"The group LEGO announces that it has signed with Percassi the agreement for the opening of the first LEGO Certified Store shops in Italy, which only propose LEGO products. The first will be inaugurated by the summer of 2016, in the new shopping center in Arese, near Milan."

A certified store is basically a franchise operation, operated in countries where LEGO does not have its own stores.

Didn't know there was such a thing. I wonder how much the franchise would cost?

By in United Kingdom,

I don't think it makes a lot of difference. They still have PaB, exclusives and the same shop fittings.

By in Lithuania,

Not all franchise stores have PaB and "VIP system" doesn't work with them. We have LEGO stores in Lithuania but none of them are part of normal official LEGO shop experience.

The bricks in the picture do not look like LEGO

By in Italy,

The article says that in future years other shops will follow this one, through the whole Italian territory.

By in Greece,

We too have a single certified LEGO shop operating through franchise in Greece but alas it has no PaB walls, exclusives etc :( Hopefully this isn't the case
