In recent weeks the Brickset team has been trying to diversify the breadth of our articles, as you may have noticed. Support from the LEGO ARP team has allowed us to run a brand new 'theme month' in which we will focus our attention on one particular theme, while continuing to cover other ranges as usual.

Given the present abundance of Super Heroes sets and films we have decided that this month will be themed around Super Heroes!

These articles will include:

  • Reviews of all the new Super Heroes sets.
  • An interview with a LEGO Super Heroes set designer who worked on the Captain America: Civil War sets.
  • Reviews of some rare and historic Super Heroes sets.
  • An article looking at the history of Spider-Man in LEGO, in honour of his upcoming appearance in Captain America: Civil War.
  • A Super Heroes themed building contest.

There will be other surprises along the way so make sure to keep an eye on the homepage.

I must stress that we will still be covering all other news and reviewing sets from a range of other themes as ever. In fact, you can expect our first Angry Birds review tomorrow!

Wow you guys keep yourselves busy! I have learned more about Super Heroes and Star Wars from Lego in the last six months than I ever knew. I find some of it fascinating. Looking forward to the reviews of the rare and historic sets! The contest sounds interesting and should bring about some interesting results if the previous one for the calendar build is any indication.

Can April be Fun Fantasy Theme Month? Celebrating Lego Elves, Disney Princess, and Whisker Haven Tales Palace Pets?

There's a lot of new sets out for them too this spring. Might be fun to see a month for them sometime soon.

I'm excited about the interview with the set designer! And the theme month is such a great idea overall; I really enjoy the mix of stuff on Brickset and appreciate the effort you guys put into keeping it busy.

So at the NYC Toy Fair LEGO wouldn't show the huge brick built figure yet two weeks later you can buy it? Seems odd to me.

But I'm loving some of these articles recently.

Wait, is it just Marvel or is it DC also?

I look forward to all the Super Heroes articles! Although the Avengers sets are awesome I got hooked on the early Batman and Spider-Man sets so I'd love to reminisce. Will the balance be mostly on Marvel, or still some content for DC with Batman V Superman out soon?

Color me intrigued—particularly about the designer interview. That's the kind of content I'd love to see more of here on Brickset.

By in Netherlands,

As I plan to purchase all of the Civil War sets, I can't wait for the designer's interview and reviews of them. I also am interested in the Spidy article, as he made his debut in the brick right before my grey ages.

I'm loving the direction Brickset is heading with these new articles. Part reviews, building tutorials, miscellaneous reviews (Year of the Monkey-article, Valentines Day-article); more please!

Brickset is getting so much better these days, lots and lots of interesting articles. Can't wait for an actual review of the smaller Civil War sets... J2G has reviewed the Airport Battle already.

Good idea to have theme months! And I second the fantasy theme, would be great! And within it, one post could be about dragons. I know there has been many in different themes, but I haven't found any good listings of them all in one place.

Just want to add my voice to the many others saying that this is a great development. My burning question is what can we find out about 76067...

Wait. SPIDERMAN IS IN CAPTAIN AMERICA CIVIL WAR? This proves I learn more things about stuff from Lego.
