BrickCan: free tickets to the public exhibit

If you are heading to BrickCan later this month, here's your chance to grab some free tickets. Jason at Chowren Toys writes:

"As a sponsor of the inaugural BrickCan event, Vancouver’s First Adult LEGO Fan Convention April 21 to 24, 2016 at The River Rock Resort Casino in Richmond, BC Canada, we will be giving away 10 FREE pairs of tickets to the public exhibit.

"For the free public exhibit tickets, all Brickset readers need do is enter promo code Brickcan2016 at the check-out to receive the free tickets. PLEASE NOTE the tickets are for either Saturday April 23, 2016 9AM to 11AM or Sunday April 24, 2016 9AM to 11AM. This is due to the limited capacity of the venue. There is a total of 10 pairs available, 5 for each day. Tickets also include free First Class Mail shipping within the United States and Canada. It is one pair of tickets per household and the tickets are not for resale as they have no dollar value. There are only 10 pairs available so take these only if you are serious about attending."

Was able to apply the code but it wouldn't let me check out. Said 'Payment Method is missing or invalid', but there were no selections.

I get the same message: invalid payment method.

Looks like there is a glitch in our system where it will not allow check out when the total is $0. I will get this resolved before our next free giveaway. In the mean time I have changed the promo code to where the total is now $0.01 at the checkout. This should allow you to select "no payment necessary" and for the order to be processed. My sincere apologies for any inconvenience this has caused, Jack.
