No sign of 21029 - Buckingham Palace or 21030 - United States Capitol Building on Shop.LEGO.com :/

By in United Kingdom,

Most out of stock all morning. Surely that's a glitch?

Gravatar
By in Poland,

What about summer sale?

Gravatar
By in Norway,

The sets are slowly being added. I think they just started to stock the online shop this morning it seems.

That fountain though, I love it! Even though it costed me more to order from Lego I just had to get it!

By in France,

Just my luck that the Bionicle set I'm waiting for is inexplicably missing. Where oh where is the Quake Beast? D:

Addendum: The Out Of Stocks are slowly being made available, albeit a little haphazardly. I'm waiting for Lewt before I confirm my order for this month :)

Additional: Lewt's available!

Hey Huw, is there a possibility of including affiliate links to the Australian Lego Shop? I want to be able to support Brickset when I buy from there.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Unfortunately LEGO does not operate an affiliate scheme in Australia. But, thanks for your kind offer.

By in Australia,

The prices on the Star Wars sets in Australia are baffling. $160 for Vader’s TIE Advanced vs. A-Wing Starfighter. WHAT!? $20 more expensive, and has 200 fewer pieces, than the Imperial Shuttle. If it were priced the same as the previous wave, at $120 to $140, I would've been hesitant to pick it up, but probably still would've. Not a damn chance now.

And then there's the utter nonsense of the Imperial assault carrier, 1200 pieces, being the same price as a 900 piece Clone Turbo Tank! $190 was too much for a 1200 piece set, and as a result, it didn't sell well, at least in Australian stores. For a 900 piece set its just begging to not sell. I can only guess that Disney finally changed the Star Wars licensing agreement, since all Disney licenced sets are that overpriced.

At least this shocking price markup comes with an extremely mediocre wave of sets, so I can better accept not buying them. Maybe in a couple of months time when retail stores have them, they'll see reason when suddenly nobody is buying what was formerly the most popular theme. Although if they did, it would be a first. All this is a huge shame really because I like that fountain more than anything

By in United Kingdom,

When do the new Ninjago sets come out, is it August in the UK?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

UKBRiCKS,
i know there are two ninjago set that come out today on shop @home, a dragon and the lighthouse.
there maybe others.

By in Sweden,

Have bought three rather large sets from the new sets released today: Total from Lego Shop compared to total from other retailers: about $100 difference.
Just ridiculous.

By in Australia,

I'm more annoyed that the fountain is a Lego Shop exclusive. I was looking forward to buying that in an actual toy shop! I think that's a gorgeous set, and a beautiful add-on for "fun in the park" (I also like that it includes pieces to customise the statue). Dang it Lego.

By in Australia,

Actually, I didn't notice this before, but Vader's TIE and A-Wing is actually more expensive than the blue X-Wing, despite having less pieces. I suspect they couldn't put the price of the x-wing up because it would be on shelves next to the exact same model at a much lower price (there's a $10 price difference between them as-is)

By in United Kingdom,

@ Adzbadboy, Architecture sets are normally released in August, although last year it was September....

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Unfortunately no new Elves for us here in Canada yet! I don't get the way they release these sets.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Just checked the US site for superheroes sets. No luck. Does anyone know when the new superhero sets will be released? Specifically the new Civil War set?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Picked up the A-wing/TIE advanced at the Cardiff store today, got the fountain (which is great) plus a May the Fourth Stormtrooper as a little bonus - pretty chuffed.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Order the lighthouse and fun in the park along with a hotdog keychain to get the free set.

Gravatar
By in United States,

What the crap? UK has the Nexo Knights and Marvel/DC sets but US has to wait till Aug? What a rip! Any way to get them in the US now?

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Any idea when the Marvel and DC sets will be released in Canada?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Visited my region's brick-and-mortar LEGO store (Northern California, US) and they have the same stock as the online shop. No new Nexo Knights, Ninjago, DC, Elves, Friends (amusement park or other), Airport Passenger Terminal, or either large Volcano set.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

The Star Wars sets are crazy overpriced! Are these the worse price per piece Lego has released for the theme?

Gravatar
By in United States,

^ Check out the browse by year page at http://brickset.com/sets/year-2016 and sort by price per part (descending). Scroll past most of the Duplo, CMF, & action figure listings to see the current state of brick-built value. Even ignoring the big boat hull based sets, the City theme actually occupies a huge chunk of the upper third of the list, beating (if you will) the licensed themes.

By in Canada,

Thanks Jang. Coincidentally, this also drew my attention to the fact that Rogue one sets now have names! I can't wait for pictures.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

^ Perhaps I shouldn't mention it, but just recently the set and minifigure pictures were leaked. If you look up a specific set name you should be able to find them.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Hrmph. I’ve just been sitting on my money waiting for the new Nexo Knights and Elves sets. I guess I won’t be getting a fountain after all. Any idea when they’ll be released in the US?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Like the fountain and will certainly be getting for my modular towns....if they have any left!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Does anyone have a reliable release date list for the U.S.?

I made an order yesterday on Lego.com. A few sale items including a b-day gift for my nephew. So I can get the fountain. Planning on adding it to the fun in the park set up.
