LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures season one coming to Blu-ray and DVD
Posted by TheBrickPal,After our scathing review of 75147 StarScavenger, here's some more positive The Freemaker Adventures news courtesy of StarWars.com!
While they make a living scavenging throughout the galaxy, the Freemakers are finally coming home.
LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures – Complete Season One, chronicling the story of three siblings in a galaxy far, far away, arrives on Blu-ray and DVD for the first time on December 6. The 2-disc sets feature all 13 episodes from the animated series’ debut season and some brick-tastic bonus features, including “The Freemaker Adventures: Meet the Freemaker Family,” a fun collection of clips, behind-the-scenes footage, and cast interviews, and “Freemaker Salvage and Repair,” where you’ll visit the salvage shop as Rowan, Kordi, and Zander take you on a tour of the family business. In addition, each Blu-ray and DVD set includes six exclusive magnets.
The series, set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, stars three Freemaker siblings who scour the galaxy for useful debris that they use to build new vehicles of their own design. Rowan, the spunky Force-sensitive 12-year-old with a thirst for adventure, is voiced by newcomer Nicolas Cantu. His quick-witted older sister, Kordi, voiced by Vanessa Lengies (Glee), manages the family business and is the glue that holds the family together. Ace pilot and charming rogue Zander, voiced by Eugene Byrd (Arrow), is the oldest brother and the family’s self-proclaimed starship connoisseur. Lucasfilm’s Matthew Wood voices R0-GR, also known as Roger, a refurbished battle droid from the Clone Wars adopted by the Freemaker family. When Rowan discovers a natural connection with the Force through an ancient artifact — the Kyber Saber — he and his family are thrown into an epic struggle against the Empire to restore peace and freedom to the galaxy. Together, they explore new worlds, meet new characters and Star Wars icons, and have an unforgettable adventure.

Will there be another season?
a few minifigs from the show I would have rather seen included other than these magnets but oh well. I didnt hate the show.
@Dr.Doom: I wouldn't count on this show being available for free streaming, as none of DisneyXD's other shows are.
Show is great, shame there is no special fig though :(
The_Chosen_1 - Look and you will find it. Series haven't premiered yet in Poland but I saw 10 english episodes online :P
It hasn't even been shown in the uk yet.
13 episodes... wait, so unlike the other stuff, this is an actual TV series? Huh. I should probably watch it then.
The show is actually very fun, I was surprised.
@The_Chosen_1 Kisscartoon have got all episodes in HD. It seems like they are legal, too, since they have been there in a couple of months. Watched all of them there.
Great tv show, I watch it with my son. Would've rather have a Hutt minifigure than the magnets, but still a fun dvd to have.
If it came with a collectable minifig like Graballa, Wick Cooper, or someone else, I would definitely get it, but as it is, I don't know. I did love the season though. Hope they come out with another one.
There are so many great minifigs on the wheel and droids on the junk planet with Jek-14. They could make a set of collectible minfigs from this show.
^^ I have a feeling a Graballa wouldn't be able to fit in DVD/Blu-ray packaging, unfortunately. It would have become too thick. Wick Cooper would have been just as awesome, though, and much more likely.
However, this release is labelled 'season one', proving we very well COULD end up with a second season. If that happens, then I'm sure we'll get more sets that those characters and more could potentially appear in. So it's not a total loss!
And who knows? Perhaps DVD sales could determine the fate of the show.
If an exclusive mini figure would've been included, I would be more likely to pick this up. I don't have any use for those magnets.
Wow. Magnets.
I still haven't seen all the episodes in the most recent series of Rebels...
Season ONE? Hope this means we're getting a season 2! My whole family loves this show.
I wish the other Lego Star Wars shows/mini-movies would be released on Blu-ray too.
I feel that I'll have to get the DVD when it's released in the UK if only to find out what my LEGO namesake is like!
Nice to see LEGO SW has finally traded up from specials to a genuine television series. I've had this on the DVR for a while but haven't had the chance to watch too much of it.
@TheBrickPal
Just pointing out that DVD's are often labelled 'Season 1' even if they never gain a second season. I still have a DVD box for 'Season 1' of Firefly and Spaced. Its just a method to try and increase sales by giving the impression to people buying it, that they may have a second season at some stage.
It could get a second season, but a DVD title labelling it as season 1 does not automatically mean we're getting a second season - nor provide anything towards that.
^ Thanks! Almost had me fooled.
