Posted by ,

The latest issue of Blocks magazine is already through the letterbox of subscribers and will be on shop shelves from September 22.

The experienced eye of the Blocks team is cast over the latest range of NINJAGO sets, with reviews and photography. There’s an interview with professional model maker Dave Tremont, who shares how he uses LEGO bricks as the basis of his work. Meanwhile we reflect on the summer with some beautiful LEGO caravan photography.

In the latest Technique guide, Simon Pickard shares some tips for building impressive windows and Showcase looks at some incredible layouts. In the Anatomy section Daniel Konstanski charts the evolution of the LEGO dragon, and David Wardle follows how Technic supercars have influenced the advanced LEGO theme.

You’ll also find our show report from Star Wars Celebration Europe and see the winning entries from our Ugly build contest. There’s plenty more besides including some fun mini models to get your fingers building.

Looks interesting, but I wish there was a digital subscription of some kind. I don't really feel like paying for shipping physical issues from the UK to the US.

I am approaching the end of my Brickjournal subscription. Should I switch over to Blocks or not?
