No Caterham for Europe (BELGIUM)?
Doesn't show in LEGO.com inventory...
Caterham is available in Europe except Belgium and the Netherlands... Anyone know why????
what happened to the other comments? seems like everything was deleted, and also it now says 2x vip points and it used to be 3x vip points...
The Caterham is not available in Finland either.
And -now- it's time to order that holiday train--free loot and 2x VIP, here I come! The kids should enjoy the little advent calendar, that's a nice little bonus.
Write's long post, Clicks 'Post comment'
... And it's gone.
Congratulations Brickset, You've managed to upset me even more then Lego had already done last night.
@Lego, If this set isn't available at Shop @Home on Monday, I will never again buy a set from Shop @Home that is priced in excess of the RRP mentioned in your own Press releases.
Hi, Can anyone explain why the US seem to get better deals than than the UK/Europe.
I mean, they got the Routemaster bus back in August & are now getting double VIP points the whole of October, compared to the UK/Europe getting them from the 14th to 31st.
Seems unfair to me.
Holiday train, Star Wars calendar bought. This is SOO much a better deal than yesterday's Revan fiasco. Plus have all month to go back and get additional stuff for 2x points.
Alright, My rage has subsided and the Caterham is available for order now. (At least in the Netherlands, But probably all the EU country's where it wasn't available earlier today.)
Still thinks the whole ordeal was odd and suspicious ;) :P
Edit: But that thing were you click 'Post Comment' and all what you typed just disappears could do with someone looking into it, Happend on Microsofts Edge browser with me today but have seen it happen with other webbrowsers in the past as well.
Picked up the Caterham, Ra's Al Ghul Set, Hover Tank and the free calendar online. Nice little haul. I consider that the prequel. Got a few birthday LEGO gift cards in the queue that I'm going to use at the LEGO store near me in a couple weeks. Just need to put together a wee bit more cash to broaden the options.
Weeeeeee!
All of Mixels Series 9 - ordered!
London bus will be someones xmas present!
Apologies for a beginner's question: Is the 2x VIP points offer cumulative with the free bus (or calendar), i.e. will a single purchase of £50 get me 100 points AND the bus? Thanks in advance for the clarification.
Interestingly, on the US shop site, set 40222 is called Lego Christmas Build Up (https://shop.lego.com/en-US/LEGO-Christmas-Build-Up-40222), and the description states explicitly that each day you take the current model model apart and build the next one. So it seems each day it's a new instruction, not new pieces as in the calendars.
A lot of my comments get deleted also. I have since learned to copy every single brickset message and paste it if it doesn't get through. It happens pretty frequently actually. Likely a browser issue, but it doesn't happen all of the time, that's why it is weird.
As for US deals vs the rest of the world, I think that has been discussed ad nauseum in the forum, so I suggest you look there.
I believe the issue with comments not getting through is when you post a comment while somebody else is posting at the same time. Not entirely sure that is the problem, but usually when my posts don't appear, somebody else's has in the meantime...
That shouldn't be the problem since it all happens asynchronously. I've not experienced it so I don't have a solution at the moment.
@Huw
I came to the same conclusion as @kfr, although my evidence is purely circumstantial.
Assuming that is the problen, I expect you should be able to reproduce it by using two browser windows logged in as different users.
Anyhow, here's the plan:
Buy the Caterham tomorrow using (at least) the VIP points that expire end of this year. Get a London bus
Maybe buy some Duplo as well for the little ones (who are actually way too little for this right now, but heh) to get some 4x VIP points. And maybe some other stuff to qualify for free shipping (and another London bus)
Wait for 2x VIP points to buy holiday train, get yet another London bus
At 8:28 Central European time there is still no sign of the London Bus. Nonetheless the banners of the Rogue One promos are still on LEGO.com website
Hello,
I'm from Spain, but where is the London Bus??
Thank u and thank u for this web.
Paco
Yup, same here. It's 9:20 now, but no London bus in sight...
London bus also still not available in Germany at 9:46.
I guess it's just the typical Lego "we just can't be bothered to set up an online shop that actually works" madness...
I am not sure but I believe bus promo is only for new store opening in UK.
the working party specialists from Germany, and today Germany are free, because of the holidays, employee informed me lego
@adiss: if that's true, that would be really amateuristic! Even the most basic website tools (for example Wordpress) allow you to schedule an automatic page update/action/promo/whatever.
We'll see if your right. If that's the case, promo's aren't go to be available until tomorrow...
@ali1994: Not true; the London bus promo is on every european store calendar for October, not for a store opening in the UK. ;-)
One question though, does that 10€ off ends tonight or tomorrow night? I was hoping to combine that with bus but if they decide to release bus promo tomorrow, I am not sure.
@ali1994: According to LEGO.com page the offer is closes at 23:59 on 4 October
https://shop.lego.com/en-HU/new-site?icmp=SHHomeMain2_EU_GlobalLaunchCampaign
@Yellow
"Participants have until 4 October to redeem the Voucher Code (“Redemption Period”) when Voucher Code expires automatically"
What does this stand for then?
@ali1994
"The offer opens at 00:00 on 22 September 2016 and closes at 23.59 on 4 October 2016 (“Offer Period”).
Participants have until 4 October to redeem the Voucher Code (“Redemption Period”) when Voucher Code expires automatically."
I think the first sentence tells everything
The bus is now available! (Netherlands)
So is in Hungary! Order placed with promo code 3000, plus redeemed 400 VIP points, plus got the free shipping and the London Bus
