LEGO Architecture 21036 Arc De Triomphe

Posted by ,

A toy distributor in the Netherlands has listed 21036 Arc De Triomphe on their website, thereby revealing another LEGO Architecture set coming later in 2017.

The set is priced at €39.99 which likely converts to $39.99 or £44.99 based on the cost of current sets. I imagine the model will contain a large number of small pieces given the intricate stone carvings which adorn the arch. Presumably it will be released towards the end of the summer.

Thanks to Joey Verseput for contacting us with this news.

By in Belgium,

I would like this in the Creator expert serie!

By in Germany,

I first thought this was an unknown Lego Ideas set, going by the set number 21306 in the article, before I noticed it was just a typo in the text and that the title of the article actually says 21036. D'uh me, especially as I had just bought the Yellow Submarine, the real 21306, two weeks ago. ;-)

je suis tres contente! I am very happy! I own the effiel tower and thought it needed an Arc de triompuh. And the price looks great too! so... Sydney, London and the Arc De triuomph, my wallet will feel penible. (awfull)

By in Germany,

Really nice model, I'm looking forward to it. But the price for the Guggenheim Museum is hefty. 80€ is a lot of money.

By in United Kingdom,

Stick a couple of the buses from Buckingham Palace on it and it could be Marble Arch.

And you could win a holiday for three in Mallorca if you're lucky.*

I'm looking forward to seeing how they do the carvings.

By in United States,

I had really been pushing for the ideas version which was more of a creator expert size, but it never gained enough votes over the past 1.5 yrs. Here is the 2nd submission by Eiffleman https://ideas.lego.com/projects/154965. I'm wondering if LEGO is going by way of "Big Ben" and releasing the creator version of this set later on?

By in Portugal,

I'm curious to see how this will compare with Eiffleman's Architecture Scale ideas original submission.

I've used the hints he provided on this submission to build my own and it's wonderfull (love the inner arch ceiling).

He has made a new version and resubmitted the project, now with instructions (https://ideas.lego.com/projects/159547).

Bad news for me of course with my ideas projects, but I will have to wait and see Lego's version but I've spent months working on my versions and I know its not an easy subject at a small scale.

rock99rock - Thanks for all of your support of my ideas project, the first try got over 3000 which was not bad for a project without any obvious external fan base to call on.

RMBP - I saw your build of my first smaller scale model (very nice model) and that encouraged me into refinign my design using currently available pieces. BTW I only posted on ideas because of that inner arch ceiling - it adds an interesting element to the build.
