By in United Kingdom,

Nice, looking forward to the discount. £6.50 off the y-wing isn't much, but it is a couple of CMFs.

No double points? ?? Been waiting ages for the Snowspeeder cash is already set aside!!

By in United States,

I'm looking forward to the discount. I buy most of my SW sets at either the May the 4th or during the September promotion. Being able to pick up more sets for the same price would be nice.

Hi Huw
For Australians how much worth we will have to buy to receive to R2-D2 polybag?
Also what is your opinion of this years May the 4th?

By in Canada,

40% off Slave I UCS? :D

By in United Kingdom,

If I pick up the Y-Wing for £65 discounted to £58.50, does that still qualify for the R2-D2 polybag? Might have to pick up an AT-ST too if it doesn't.

By in Switzerland,

Too bad for no double points, and the 10% discount is not much. The R2 polybag hardly justifies any shopping for me, especially that I already got all the sets I find worth buying for bigger discounts...some 40% discounts online would be nice, but I don't know how fair this is to the countries that don't even have official Lego stores.

Something discounted to £58.50 wouldn't qualify. One nice thing about the 5p bag charge now is that it's often enough to take me over the freebie threshold - e.g. if it's a £30 spend and I've only spent £29.99.

By in Portugal,

kashmir4 There's a 3x VIP points promo going on at the moment.

By in United Kingdom,

It's annoying if the 40% off will only apply in store as I don't live anywhere near a Lego store and cannot travel at the moment. Also disappointed with no double VIP points but we have just had random triple points so that is something. I'll probably just get enough to qualify for the free poly then and hold off on the snowspeeder.

Im going to Lego land Windsor on April 30th so I will get some sets 10% off! Do you know what sets are 40% off?

By in United Kingdom,

Unfortunately the discounts and offers don't apply at LLW as it's not a brand store.

By in United Kingdom,

I think it's a bit under par of the 40% discount being just in store. I'm sure it isn't too hard for the website to limit the buys to 2 just for the discount day of the 40% item (I'm saying 2 as if you have purchased one before at full RRP then you cannot purchase another on a limit of 1)

By in United Kingdom,

The May 4th flyer that was circulating stated in the small print at the bottom " Each day from 29th April until 6th May 2017, one specific Lego Star Wars set will be discounted for one day by 40% at shop Lego.com and in Lego stores" so I'm hoping this still stands and that there are some higher end sets included in this offer.

^ Thanks for clarifying. I'll amend the text.

By in Australia,

So we have 8 different sets that will have 40% of.
Am guessing none of the UCS sets will be included in that.
Am hoping either the Phantom (75170) or the A Wing (75175) are included in the list
Sadly yet to see either of these two sets discounted as yet, unlike say the Y-Wing which is at Argos/Tesco for £51

By in United Kingdom,

Fingers crossed Snowtroopers Bob and Tim’s Suicide Mission on Hoth will be 40% off on one of the days. I can't imagine that thing is flying off shelves, but I'd snap it up at a good discount.

By in United Kingdom,

I'd like to know which sets are assigned to which day, and hopefully some of the larger ones are included.

By in United Kingdom,

Death Star with 40% off? Please....

By in United States,

The R2D2 polybag is great. Too bad I'm not spending 60 dollars on Star Wars sets this month.

By in Australia,

A set a day with 40% for 8 days
On Lego Shop for UK 61 sets, 5 of them are UCS so they will not be discounted, so 56 that can be.

So guessing:
2 Buildable Figures
2 TFA Sets
2 R1 Sets
2 Other

So of the 56 sets I will guess the below will be discounted
75114 - First Order Stormtrooper
75119 - Sergeant Jyn Erso
75139 - Battle on Takodana
75149 - Resistance X-Wing Fighter
75156 - Krennic's Imperial Shuttle
75154 - TIE Striker
75137 - Carbon-Freezing Chamber
75150 - Vader’s TIE Advanced vs. A-Wing Starfighter

By in United Kingdom,

Any clues as to what the discounted sets will be?

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

I really hope the Battle of Scarift is discounted by the same days as R2-D2 is available in the US offer.

Gravatar
By in United States,

It would be nice to have something special with the preorder. Double points or a pre-order discount. Getting it a couple of days early wouldn't appeal to most people I would think.

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

Isn't Sat 29 April also an Afol Shopping Day in Europe for RLUG members with the relevant sticker?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I've seen on other sites that double points are also available during this period as well, or is that only for the US as they missed out on triple points?

By in Germany,

[email protected] (at least the German version) has a special page up for this 40% discount, showing a field for each of the 8 days, the first shows the Resistance X-Wing - so that may be the one for April 29 -, the rest 7 question marks. Below are 8 bigger fields, the last one confirms Battle on Scarif for May 6.

A somewhat strange combination of teasers, but, well... Anyway, it also says "More info tomorrow", so I guess they'll unveil one discount per day leading up to the "celebrations".

By in United Kingdom,

^ Quite a predictable mix - 2 of those are currently 33% off on their site anyway
