Snowspeeder available now
Posted by Huw,
The stunning new 75144 Snowspeeder is now available from shop.LEGO.com to VIPs in UK and Europe. If you haven't already done so, be sure to read our review of this superb set, which many are saying is the best UCS set since the Slave I.
You'll also receive a free 30611 R2-D2 with your order, and there are discounts on other Star Wars sets available, too. See the other article for more information.

I thought it wasn't available in the US until May 4th and that is even if you are a VIP member.
It won't be available in the US until May 4th, unfortunately.
Order placed and the exclusive R2D2 as a bonus =)
^^ Thanks for clarifying that, I've updated the article.
Is this in brand stores yet, or only online for now?
Just ordered mine yippee, and a bonus with the R2D2 POLYBAG for the collection ??
Ordered mine too - more excited about the Artoo polybag!
UCS fans, do I get this or the TIE fighter (75095) ?
Thoughts appreciated
So far I only own 1 UCS set, Slave 1
Not sure it was just me, this morning I used the brickset link above to order and got a generic error on the Lego website when checking out... So went direct to shop.lego.com and ordered fine.. (My VIP login status was fine for both attempts)..
Hopefully my local store in Brighton will still have an abundance of both on Thursday! And 3 more S17 minifigs needed too to get the full set!
In stock in Glasgow this morning.....was tempted but going to hold off
@AussieSamurai - I'd probably go for this set, I think it just looks better and the functions are better
@955561976 and @Matt89190 thank you for your advice
One day I will buy another $200 set, when my finances are better.
Do we have to wait to the 4th for double points?
When will the instructions be added?
Why do we get screwed in the US again?!?
Actually, I'm kind of grateful it's not available in the US yet. I was battling with myself whether to order it when it became available to VIPs or wait until May 4th to get R2 and double VIP points. Looks like LEGO made the decision for me!
For the record; yes, there was plenty of stock in the Leicester Square brand store.
Is it me, or does the vehicle look slightly larger in scale than the minifigs? It looks big enough to hold a 3.75" action figure.
