If only I was good at graphic design.....
You build it, not draw it...
Is there any news as to when the sets will be available in the UK?
1st June, along with Creator, Friends, SH Girls, City, Super Heroes, TLBM, NEXO Knights and Star Wars. Not to mention the Carousel and Apollo.
It'll be an expensive month!
Thank you Huw! I was getting worried seeing they'd released in US/Canada already.
As with many rebrick contests this is frustratingly vague. I love the concept of rebrick in its current format, but to me build a movie poster means something quite specific, but the details of the contest don't match that. The fact that the first comment here mentions graphic design goes to prove the issue for me.
Looks fun. Rules could do with a spell check though
Says "Cari-fied" rather than 'Car-ified' a couple of times, and "image shown is an Eexample Car-ification of a contestant" just boggles my brain.
Hmm... I may do this one. And speaking of contests, when will you guys be doing your custom Brickheadz one?
Great challenge, Although the hard part is editing the background and the picture all together.
This is an interesting contest. I might try this one, but I doubt I'd have a chance of winning because I really don't have much photo editing software. I'm currently stressing over getting my Ninjago Movie entry finished, it ends in nine days!
Wait, wait... How are you meant to do this when the only people who have their hands on the sets are Lego designers? Are you supposed to use cars 2 sets?
Not sure how I'm supposed to make or win the new sets... without the new sets.. I might pick up the Lightning McQueen and try to make something with that
My 2011 one is buried
Also @above they were released today and have been out for a couple weeks.
Wait. What exactly would we be building? A Lego mosaic that looks like a poster, a Lego car that would be in a poster, or something completely different? The rules are kind of vague
^ yes i was thinking so aswel.
This is interesting....I'm not a big fan of Cars but the prizes are tempting.
I hope to enter. I guess the Cars franchise is okay, but I'm not really into it. The prizes are great, though.
I got inspired and built some sort of all-red gate for my 2012 Lightning. Now I only need to take pictures of it and make it more, you know, poster-y. I should get it up this week (I'm christianleonel).
I don't tend to have too much hope in contests, but I really feel like I got a chance. Don't know why, just feel it.
