Once again StarWars.com has the scoop on another store exclusive deal in the USA. If you're in the USA I feel sorry for you -- you'll have to traipse round three different stores to pick these all up. The rest of the world will be able to order them from LEGOshop.com. Get down to you local Target when it's releasd on August 1st and try and beat the scalpers, who will undoubtably be there, to the LEGO aisle.

(thanks Matthew and Tony for the news)

By in Belgium,

This doesn't look half bad. The characters look amazing and there's so much more detail in it! If the price isn't too high, I might buy it.

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

This one I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get for that minifigure.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The one with the headband looks like a kamikaze pilot...
It looks pretty cool, though. I'm thinking it'll be around $40 to $50 dollars. Is this accurate?

Gravatar
By in United States,

This is from the Equorian Pirate episodes, I guess.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

WOW so many great sets are coming out this year! If this set has a reasonable price I would go ahead buy it!

Gravatar
By in United States,

It is very cool but no clones, or jar jar? this set lacks figs BIGTIME!

Gravatar
By in United States,

What episode is this in? And how come it is a Special Edition?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I really really love it! I'll probably get it...

By in Canada,

all that set needs is a good price then it would be brilliant along with being released in other stores, i probably have to pay double to get seeing as all lego in egypt is really expensive and old

Gravatar
By in United States,

That actually looks really good. The minifigs are nice and the design is quite decent. If it's not too badly priced, I may even pick it up.

Gravatar
By in United States,

From what I remember, many "store exclusives" have also been available from LEGO Shop at Home, as well as LEGO Stores. The only exception I can think of is the yellow Jetrax T6, which I saw only in Target.

By in United States,

Good looking set but with Star Wars sets' prices recently, I doubt I'm going to get it.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Is that a chrome lightsaber handle? If,so awesome! I love the figs, they got some nice details. But I wish it had Jar-Jar
@vezon8764
This is from the "Dooku Captured" episode.

By in Canada,

I spy some diver harpoons!

Gravatar
By in Canada,

I also spy flick fires and a special edition banner!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Looks pretty accurate and the minifigs are pretty detailed, this is the best special edition set. I remember reading it was about 45 USD.

Gravatar
By in United States,

hey jonbuddy: it's not Equorian, its Weequayan. Anyway, I'm hoping it's around $20. I need the Weequay minifigs.

Gravatar
By in United States,

$20?? In your dreams! I estimate a minimum of $40.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Should be around 40 bucks... if so count me in for one.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Well, it doesn't look half bad, but I'd like to point out that even if it's a "Store Exclusive", it's is almost always available on Shop @Home, and, in fact, I can't think of one where it hasn't been available in both...

Gravatar
By in United States,

Since when did LEGO sell things for $57? It'll be 40 or 50, just wait and see. LEGO loves to overprice licensed themes and this set won't be an exception. It SHOULD be $35, but it won't be.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I think that the price will be $50. Euro prices are always much more than US prices.

Gravatar
By in United States,

if it said it was $57 on brickipedia, then somebody probably edited and made it up

Gravatar
By in United States,

The price will be $50, the price is always $50 for Target exclusives.

Gravatar
By in United States,

$50 is rather expensive for a 370 piece set. I really like it, but I don't know if I'll buy it at that price.

Gravatar
By in United States,

GRAH! WANT!I'm gonna be paying off this years legos in 2012...... By then I'll be old enough to get a job at least..... I might have to drop some themes......

Gravatar
By in United States,

Well in 2012 there won't be anymore Star Wars LEGO, so the price will be very high.

The LEGO Farm Harvester set only has 360 pieces and only one minifigure, that costs $45. I wouldn't be surprised if the set was $60. It's a Star Wars set, it has new minifigures that won't be in any other sets, and set prices are going on.

Gravatar
By in Mexico,

The set is really good and I cant wait to get it!.... but I think I wont get it. With that being a special edition from USA and lego shop thats impossible. That kind of legos dont arrive here in Mexico, where I live. And I dont have money, plus my parents dont like to buy thinks in internet. very good set anyway.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

i want this

Gravatar
By in United States,

oooh thats a nice set. if the price isnt too bad ill buy it, i still want to see some more OT ships like another TIE bomber or some kind of 6211 Star Destroyer-like Mon Remonda cruiser. but this set will make for some nice 3rd faction battles as well!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Who's to say they won't renew? It's been around for ten years...

Gravatar
By in United States,

Who is to say they will? They already renewed it once, and then it was only for a few more years? LEGO is smart, it will cost them more and more to keep the line around and there are less and less ships to make.

Gravatar
By in United States,

There could be more new ships from the live action tv show so more new sets.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Wow this doesn't look bad at all!

What a silly, SILLY thing to say!!

I don't really understand why ANYBODY really believes that Lego won't pay for a new license extension?

Let's face it, the Star Wars Lego sets are by far, by Far, by FAR the most popular, wanted, anticipated, and best-selling Lego sets! Star Wars is beyond question the most popular Lego theme ever, and if Lego didn't renew that license, their sales would absolutely PLUMMET. Just from watching the ebb and flow of stock at stores, it's pretty easy to see that Lego Star Wars is at LEAST 50% of all Lego sales in America. At least!!

Unless LFL expressly refuses a new license, I consider it unthinkable that Lego Star Wars will end in 2011.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Sure, LEGO probably will renew Star Wars, but I hope they don't. The theme has been beaten into the ground, with re-releases galore and sets based off of horrible spin offs (Clone Wars). LEGO Star Wars needs to die, and be replaced by something fresh, new, and original. But that won't happen, of course.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I don't think you understand that it is the success of Lego Star Wars that allows Lego to take risks on other themes that may flop. Anything fresh, new, and original always has a chance of failing, but Lego can afford to take that chance when they have a huge guaranteed profit coming in from the Star Wars theme. If Lego loses the Star Wars license, their sales are going to fall through the floor and you will see many, many fewer sets at retail.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Wow MaxGoof, you are really living up to your name. Can you make up any more "facts" for us about how Star Wars LEGO? Maybe it's Jesus Christ returning in toy form!? Star Wars is a huge selling, but a time will come when a 200 piece Star Wars set will cost $70 because of the fees they have to pay. We will see how great sales are then. Also do you know what was the biggest set sold in 2007? It was the fire station! It wasn't a Star Wars fire station.

It's pretty easy to see you don't have any facts to back up what you are saying.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Star Wars is LEGO's most popular theme, true, but there are plenty of other themes that are ringing in tons of money for LEGO. Bionicle is one. I don't care for the new sets, but it's keeping a strong demographic roped in. LEGO City is LEGO's longest running theme and it's bringing in nearly as many sales as Star Wars. It's not like LEGO will go broke without Star Wars.

But when Star Wars is TLC's biggest focus, it takes time away from fresh new themes. I don't believe for a second that Star Wars is actually allowing TLC to be more original rather than less.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I actually wouldn't mind if they kept making SW sets, as long as they go into the expanded universe (for example, I wouldn't mind seeing Chiss sets) instead of all this CW junk.

Yeah, 2007 was also one of the worst years ever for the Star Wars franchise, as there was no movie, no cartoon, and the major video game for that year was pushed back into 2008. Even so, the Star Wars sets sold wonderfully at retail, and while they didn't have the 1 top set, they certainly had most of the other top-selling sets.

And as far a 200-piece set costing $70, now you're being crazy. This tank we're discussing may be expensive for the number of pieces, but the retail price on an exclusive is set by the retailer, not Lego. I just bought a 636 piece Republic Fighter Shuttle for $59.99. That's with this year's increased Star Wars license fees and general inflation cost, and still less than 10 cents a piece! While the license has caused some cost increases, let's not exaggerate how big they are.

Gravatar
By in United States,

LEGO can and has survived without Star Wars, it's just unlikely that they'll want to.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

I think the pirate tank will be a Zellers Exclusive in Canada.

Price should be:
$29.99 USD / $39.99 CAD

However, ever since the clone wars sets came out, lego has been known to overprice almost all limited edition sets or the price stays the same, but the piece count decreases.

Overpriced (most likely this price considering they overprice separatist spider droid, ahsoka starfighter w/droid)
$39.99 USD / $54.99 CAD

Really sad that LEGO overprice all limited edition sets now a days and their piece count is small as well.

Gravatar
By in United States,

MaxGoof you are right about Star Wars being a top seller but I don't think it's going to last as long. That's why they have new themes coming out such as Disney sets like Toy Story, Cars, and The Prince of Persia theme. They obviously know that the time is coming and their going to prepare.

As far as your mentioning dragon_teenager, their "re-releases galore" has been very successful. Not alot of people have old sets such as the y-wing, x-wing, tie-advanced, or naboo fighter so they make them for newer generations. I for one own both old and new of each of the sets I mentioned and the newer ones are by far better! Also Clone Wars is doing extremely well. Your comments are just opinions, NOT facts so why are you mentioning them??

As for the licensing of Star Wars and LEGO's future, we can only guess. I presume that even if Star Wars will be gone, they're still going to keep it up. They've got Indiana Jones, the Pirates theme back, the new Power Miners, and Disney licenses. If Jerry Bruckheimer's Prince of Persia does as well as his Pirates of the Caribbean franchise then we will for sure be seeing another successful LEGO theme in the future.

Gravatar
By in United States,

ngclarkiv, Star Wars is always successful, everything it comes out with will sell well relative to the less popular themes. The fact that the re-releases sold doesn't mean anything special. And besides, they may be much improved, but it's definitely a sign that a theme has run it's course when LEGO can't think of anything to do but improve old models. My point is that Star Wars is completely parched for ideas, but it's snowballed so much that it's become very hard to stop rolling. LEGO is squeezing every drop it can out of the theme, and that's fine, I just won't care to buy any Star Wars sets while they're doing that.

Clone Wars, like the re-releases, is selling because it's Star Wars and everything Star Wars does will sell. Personally I think Clone Wars is a horrible show and I think Star Wars should have stopped after the OT, but I know many don't agree with me on that.

As for the difference between opinions and facts... you're actually surprised to see opinions on the internet? You must be new here. I was explaining why *I* think Star Wars should end. Much of what you've said is an opinion as well.

By the way, Power Miners won't last too long. Original themes don't seem to go more than one or two years before being replaced by something new. Frankly I'm fine with this, since it makes LEGO come up with new ideas more often.

Gravatar
By in United States,

IT looks ok iguess. ireally want the ventor class assult ship though!

OH by the way, the price is like $50 i think. you can go on to star wars .com and click on vault and it will show it.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm sure so long as the Clone Wars are around to pump out new toy lines, Lego will be able to renew the Star Wars licensing fee. I would hazard a guess it's the most popular Star Wars line, in addition to being the most popular Lego line, so I'm sure Lucas would be interested in keeping them licensed.

Gravatar
By in United States,

To call up an exhibit C: Dooku's Solar Sailer was about the same number of pieces and figs as this set. It cost $55.00 US. I project a similar cost for this one, especially since it is a store exclusive.

Gravatar
By in United States,

hey nice pics of the tank droid--those clone jetpacks are SWEET! it's what everyone (including myself) always wanted--separate Boba Fett like jetpack pieces! I'm so getting that set!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Cool set! It has Obi-Wan, and the other guys look awesome! I can't wait for it to come out!
