Several LEGO product designers maintain BrickLists which document the sets and themes which they have worked on and these are frequently updated by their creators.

With a new wave of sets comes a flurry of activity on these BrickLists and you can view them all, including those which have been recently updated with sets released on the 1st of June, by following this link. Look out for design notes and information about the creative process shown alongside many sets.

If any LEGO designers happen to be reading this and would be interested in providing lists of their work then we would be delighted to host them here on Brickset. Please contact us if you need any assistance in setting one up.

Update: Designer of 75144 Snowspeeder and many other excellent sets, Jordan Scott, has kindly created a BrickList. Take a look!

Awesome! As always notes are very useful for reviews!

I can't seem to find these 'notes'

@CM4Sci on the view of the Bricklist where all of the sets are listed, the notes, if there are any, will be next to the pricing and availability information for the set, in green text.

A huge thank you to all of the designers who go out of their way to keep these lists up to date, as I have found them extremely interesting and often very useful. Few companies put as much effort into directly interacting with their consumers as Lego do, and I really appreciate it!

Way to go Joel! SANDLUG's loss is the LEGO world's gain. Keep up the great work.

By in Germany,

Love the lists. Especially comparing which sets I own are from which designer, and to find the possible similarities/cues in the designs. Highly appreciated.

By in Netherlands,

Only one female designer, as far as I can see...

By in United States,

I've met at least 3 other female designers in person, but they sadly don't maintain set lists. Although I could have sworn I've seen a list of Mel Caddick's sets somewhere...

By in Australia,

If there was some way you could put who designed the set, if you know who it was I guess, on the set information page that would be pretty sweet.

@CM4Sci...Use 'List' when viewing the page, not Gallery or Table. It'll show the Bricklist Notes in green text.
Love the little notes and a factoids. Hat's off to all these great designers and builders.

By in Germany,

Love these lists. It's nice to know who designed which set, but for me the real attraction is in the glimpses into the design process, that come through in some of the notes.

By in Denmark,

Updated mine with a few morsels of information, mostly on Star Wars :)

By in Australia,

These are absolutely brilliant.

By in Germany,

The next UCS Star Wars set (Millenium Falcon?) is probably going to be announced on september 1st. The designer Hans writes : "while working on a much, much, much, much, much, much larger set which is going to be announced on September 1st 2017."

By in Denmark,

Speculation, speculation - nobody said my next set is even Star Wars-related, and pretty much anything is larger than a $24.99 set.
It might as well be a $200 Angry Birds Direct-to-Consumer product ...
I guess you just have to wait! ;)

Nothing to crazy, but one of Jordan Scotts green notes says "the next UCS for 2018 will be coming soon..." but it sounds like he didnt work on it, its on the notes for the AT-ST.

By in Jordan,

These Bricklists are very much appreciated! It's always cool to discover the designers of my favourite sets!
