Kai's Dojo Pod

Kai's Dojo Pod

©2017 LEGO Group

A range of small items from various themes have appeared on bouwsteenjes.info. These include improved images of three pods from Friends, NEXO Knights and The LEGO NINJAGO Movie as well as a couple more polybags.

5004934 Christmas Ornament has also been revealed. Presumably this will be available with purchases of a certain value from shop.LEGO.com as we approach the holiday season.

Very nice... now WHEN CAN I GET THE SHORETROOPER!?!?!

Gravatar
By in Australia,

@Speed champions fan Ebay has it... for like $60AUD! Judging by the quantities stated in the listings, I'd say only a select few would actually be legitimate. Damn Lepin Shoretroopers...
On that topic, is the image for the Shoretrooper official, and if so, do you know which country? That might be a clue as to its availability

What on earth is that Christmas ornament? I guess cardboard is cheaper to produce than plastic! I would rather have a decent sized freebie for say £100 spend instead of this rubbish for probably a £50 spend.

That dojo pod is cool.

Why does the Nexo pod have a classic space logo on the front of it? I don't remember that logo appearing in the Nexo line before.

I was going to say the Xmas ornament hurts my eyes just looking at it, but I hadn't appreciated (till I read meesajarjar72's comment) that you probably won't get the multitude of parts shown on the box. Either way, what a pile of cr @p!

Edit: With only 66 parts, the Xmas set DEFINITELY won't include the tree.

By in Netherlands,

And with these promotional thingamagics, the suits from the ninjago movie are complete! We have 27 different types now! (Regular, dojo garb, ninja garb with hood, ninja garb without hood, and finally, a bonus regular lloyd with hood) that's quite a bunch for 1 wave!

@TheLegoFan - None of these items are available yet, as far as I know.

The availability of the Shoretrooper has not been announced but given the plethora available on eBay and Bricklink, it seems likely that it will be released quite soon. Perhaps it will form part of a promotion when sets based on The Last Jedi become available in September.

@Brainslugged: It's the Rocketship Nexo Power. It's previously appeared on store display stands but never in a set AFAIK. Shame this only seems to have it as the outside sticker and not as an actual Nexo Power tile.

Though the Kai in the armor pod is the same as the one in the movie maker set. Oh well, two chances to get him.

@CapnRex101 You forgot to credit the source from wich you've got the images from.

I hope this doesn't mark the end of the Christmas Silky pouches.

In return, we possibly get this lazy Christmas Ornament which looks like it was done on a quiet, boring Sunday.

Poor show.

@Brickthusiast - Apologies Michiel, I didn't realise that the images had first appeared on bouwsteentjes.info. The article has now been updated to reflect this.

Not to excited about that holiday promo if thats what it is going to be. Rather get a real Lego tree. Come on Lego whats with the cardboard!

By in Sweden,

That CITY tent looks sweet, I'd like to have a couple of those for an outdoor equipment shop. Hopefully there will be another way to acquire them rather than having a qualifying purchase from S&H.

By in United Kingdom,

I really want both the tent for jungle city and the Shoretrooper, whenever they become available. The tent is a particularly desirable 'piece' and could be used for a number of scenarios but the interesting tan 'half wheel' is also used in the ruins. I think the use of a blue minifig head as a gas burner is genius!

As for the Shoretooper, I'm going to be intrigued to see where the display plate subtheme for the polybags goes. I refuse to call the Shoretrooper a 'Scarif Stormtrooper' seeing as it was officially called a Shoretooper in various ways before Rogue One was released. You don't hear people calling Sandtroopers 'Tatooine Stormtroopers' or Snowtroopers 'Hoth Stormtroopers'!

By in United States,

Just one question, I used to be able to access the new in the database page through the browse drop-down box without signing in, why has this been changed?

Gravatar
By in Canada,

The Christmas ornament looks like a bunch of bricks thrown together by any eight year old. Perhaps that's the point!

Gravatar
By in United States,

The tent is interesting and I kind of want one, but part of me wonders if it's not really "LEGO" enough. It seems reasonable to make LEGO ropes and sails, but I'm sure you could make a nice tent from bricks if you tried (not at the same price but hopefully you get my point).

Also...who's going to be the first to find a creative use for those pod things in a MOC?

By in United Kingdom,

Does the Christmas ornament light-up? It looks like it does in the picture.

By in United Kingdom,

Hold on, could the Christmas ornament be the 2017 calendar voucher giveaway? Let's hope so, and then we'll still get the 2 boxed freebies that have become the norm during the holiday buildup.

By in Poland,

The Friends MIA set is available in Polish Friends Magazine.

By in United States,

I'm guessing the "thing" on top of the ornament is a toy windmill? No, for 66 pieces there's likely no tree or lights.
