By in United Kingdom,

Wait... how come we don't get the shoretrooper? At least I won't feel guilty about not getting anything on force friday.

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

Is the Shoretrooper only available with SW purchases?

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Hoping for some good discounts but not holding my breath. Double VIP and Scarif Stormtrooper is not enough to tempt me into buying new sets. They always come available for at least 20% off.

Very interesting that the promotions are again and still so different across the globe...

By in United Kingdom,

Germany/France offers look best.
-Speed Champions Fan, maybe it is due to Brex, sorry Brix-it;)
They obviously have lots of Scarif troopers in stock that they can't sell.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I received a mailer from Lego that says the US will also get a free poster.

Gravatar
By in Switzerland,

So how is this, if you order in the value of the limit to the walker, you only get that one or the scarif trooper as well? It seems too generous if so..

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Wow, this sounds tempting. Get a couple of SW sets at a discount for over 55 Euro total and get TWO freebies, plus triple VIP points. Usually other regions get better offers, but this time we seem to have gotten lucky
:-)

By in United States,

Force Friday is September 1st, the day that Lego announces what we believe is and likely is the new UCS MF. Smart move there Lego.

By in Canada,

Why is it that UK always gets triple VIP points but no exclusive figure? Same thing happened last year with Darth Revan. Also the Shoretrooper is the same as the one that appears in the TIE Striker set (i think) except with a black kama cloth like the snowtroopers

By in United Kingdom,

No Scarif trooper for the UK? That sucks. I'll be in the US that weekend anyway, so do I try to pick a couple up at $50 spend a pop, or hope the UK gets shoretroopers with any spend like they did with the R2 unit?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Double points is tempting, but I always struggle hitting the minimum buy in with these freebies. I liked it before when it used to be any purchase over that amount.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

How do we get the shore trooper in the Uk????????????

I really want it as the other shore trooper figs are hard to get!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

^pay an insane price on ebay/bricklink

Gravatar
By in United States,

Heh. US fans are pining for triple VIP points, European fans are pining for the Shoretrooper. I wonder why the offers vary. (Personally, I'd rather have triple VIP points, since they're going directly towards knocking down the price of that UCS MF!)

Gravatar
By in United States,

It will be the same weak 20% off a handful of real sets and 30%-50% off watches and keychains.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Most unusual that the UK is different to the rest of Europe as we usually get the same deals, I didn't think we had left just yet.

Gravatar
By in United States,

More like "forced" Friday

Gravatar
By in United States,

I really hope the UCS Slave I is 20% off, then it would be $159.99 and affordable for me!!!

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

I hope the new BB-8 set is available by then.
If the new UCS set will be available for VIP's I will get that too. :)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

So when will the UK get the Shoretrooper Do these just last for the friday?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Huw, it should also be of note that the UCS TIE Fighter will be 20% off on the US, we know that from a mail-out flyer. You may want to put it in the article!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

UK promotions aren't overly stimulating

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Few, got no money to spend really so noting special is just the ticket.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Was all set to spend but no Shoretrooper polybag means I'll pass

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I should emphasise that these offers are by no means finalised. I think there is a reasonable chance that the Shoretrooper will be offered in the UK and it simply has not been announced.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Well, it's either that, or Lego is utterly dropping the ball on promotions. Again.

Gravatar
By in Hungary,

Hah. These buildable figures were free in Hungary above 17$ purchase in the biggest toy store (REGIO Toys).
They does not worth anything, thats why LEGO drops it after anyone.

Gravatar
By in Denmark,

Why aren't the official images of the sets released yet? There are tons of reviews of the sets already on youtube.

Gravatar
By in New Zealand,

Farce Friday.* Prepare to "Meh" like never before. Well, not since the last one.

* Offers may vary by region. Au/NZ ... yep, you're screwed.

Best bet for any offers is to go to the midnight FF session at Toyworld and get 20% off SW sets plus a free goodie bag.

Gravatar
By in Italy,

Though I'm a little peeved Lego haven't actually confirmed we'll get a Shoretrooper, I'm certainly content with the triple VIP points. Quick update for UK:

* £100 spent in an average purchase = £5 back (OK but nothing special)
* £100 spent in double VIP points = £10 back (decent, a little tempting)
* £100 spent in triple VIP points = £15 back (more tempting...)

And if you're fully committed to the cause and buy the full Last Jedi system range in one fell swoop -

* approx. £600-£650 spent in triple VIP points = £90 back (enough to take a bite out of that 'probably a UCS Millenium Falcon'. But, erm, you're going to end up spending more on the Last Jedi wave than the latter which will be a little surreal... Disclaimer: prices are based on assumptions and reliable rumours!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Wow, so many complaints in this thread. Europe is getting triple points and the assault walker on all the new Last Jedi sets and still not satisfied. I will definitely be trying to pick up the large BB-8 and Kylo Ren's TIE this weekend though. Can't wait to see what other BB-9E toys come out on Friday from other manufacturers.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I don't see how any of this would apply to the MF. Isn't it just going to be announced on 9/1 with a likely VIP release date of mid-September?

Gravatar
By in Canada,

That's what I was told at my local LEGO shop. VIP access mid-September means I most likely won't miss out.
And dRevan, there are 3 different Shoretroopers. The freebee is like a commander of some kind, with 2 grey arms. The 'Battle on Scarif' Shoretroopers have 2 tan arms. The 'TIE Striker' minifigure has a grey left arm.
It's an expensive army to build, but a small squad looks pretty darn good.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

@myscrnnm - Europe (well, France & Germany) is getting all that. They're not complaining
The UK (& Aus/NZ) however is not (as it currently stands). That's why the complaining

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Really hope the Shore Trooper makes an appearance in the UK as that plus triple points makes the Snowspeeder a definite for me over the weekend (and brings my points level up to get Ninjago City for all of £20!). BTW does anybody know what if any offers there will be for the Republic of Ireland?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

A LEGO store employee today revealed that in UK stores there will be a different poster on each of the three days given away with any SW purchase, then the Shoretrooper amd then the HAW polybag all with triple VIP. Not sure if online for the UK too though

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

We better be getting that Shoretrooper minifigure in the UK .... or I may only buy 1 Millennium Falcon!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

If it's anything like Force Friday last year, it'll be empty. The price of the Walker and the Star Destroyer are just borderline extortion to me. Think it's time I gave up on Lego...

As for the Scarif trooper, I expect that to pop up as next year's UK May the Fourth giveaway.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@Grimlock Toyrus usually has this stuff after the fact. I got the R3-D5 there for free on a promotion and chances are in a few months the Scarif Trooper and any others will be there too. Incidentally, $5.99 is the retail price for those dudes (it rung up before becoming free).

Gravatar
By in United States,

Will we know tomorrow before the 1st of the month what the sales are?

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Here are the Australian prices for the TLJ sets, minus the Buildable Figures. From smallest to largest
$59.99
$99.99
$129.99
$159.99
$179.99
$229.99
$229.99
Advent Calendar is $49.99

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

No Scarif stormtrooper in Belgium, but a poster of the MF. :(

Gravatar
By in France,

I'm a bit disappointed with the "collectible poster" received with the two sets I've ordered. I had received last year the official SW movies posters transposed in lego and had found them very nice and worth collectible. But this time... It's a small sheet of cardboard with a draw of MF making her way out of slug's mouth but very small, quite a shame of quality. Free gifts are going down while prices are going up (I've ordered KR's Tie and Rebels bomber... couldn't wait for sales). Also received Heavy walker polybag which is pretty good but that poster, for the price I paid is a shame according to me.
