Kylo Ren's TIE Fighter is my fav

By in United States,

Most of these will be a day 1 purchase for me! Either this, or the new MF, but since all these total to more minifigs (and better ones at that), probably these. The new MF can wait!

By in United States,

Ooh, wow! I wonder what cool features they hold inside! If only there were some early reviews to influence my purchase of any of these products more than a day in advance....oh, wait.

^ I totally agree! The taking down of his videos was so unfair!!!

By in United States,

How did I know that something about that was going to be stated here? ;-)

By in United States,

Never seen these before! Never in my life! I have to say, LEGO did an amazing job keeping these sets under wraps!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

About time considering everyone and their dog has had pictures and reviews up for theses for weeks now. lol.

That said, I only really like Kylo's tie fighter and the Heavy Assault walker... The scout walker did appeal to me, until I watched a review video for it and saw how clunky the walker mechanism was and that the head doesn't revolve.

By in United States,

I can't complain about the 75192 price when I'll spend almost that much in the morning!

By in United Kingdom,

Bit bummed out how the shoretrooper polybag isn't a freebie with orders from the lego store online. You have to get it via going into a store personally. Well looks like it's either amazon, ebay or bricklink for me.

By in United States,

these pictures are older than my grandma

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Not particularly exciting to me, but then I knew that months ago.

If I buy any of these, it will need a healthy discount, some encouragement from the movie, or both.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm conflicted on BB-8. On the one hand, it's an awesome set. On the other hand, I could get a fully-functional Sphero one for only $30 more.

All the others are similarly just so pricey. I'm sure that the Resistance Bomber will be down to $80 on amazon at some point within the next couple months and then I'll consider buying it.

By in Puerto Rico,

I enjoy these system sets but since I am not a fan of the sequel trilogy I am glad to be skipping these sets (the fact that I don't have anything to get the Shore Trooper saddens me).
If you join two Resistance Bombers you could make one Nebulon B Frigate and the FO Star Destroyer interior is amaizing.

By in Canada,

@mastergamer015

Yeah it's going to be online too, like every other Lego promotion.

Gravatar
By in United States,

18000pieces: But is the Sphero one made out of LEGO? I think not. ;)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Wow, they made a huge fuss to Jang about the images just to reveal these a few days later. I feel so bad for Jang. He's the greatest.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

It would appear anyone in the UK that doesn't live even remotely close to a Lego store is getting screwed over if they want the Shoretrooper, including myself. I can only hope it pops up online separately at some point - or in a random bin in TRU like the R3 polybag.

You have to make a purchase on each separate day to get the 'three special posters' of the Millenium Falcon. The transport pod is freakin' (for want of a better word) £40 so at least the Millenium Falcon is comparatively fantastic value in the UK!

Note if you like constraction - the older buildable figures are really good value in the sale!

By in Germany,

I was just that short of buying a Kylo Rens Tie, when I saw there was no Scarif Trooper in the basket. Then I found out about it being only available at stores. So I made no purchase at all. And I will not drive 50 km and pay a parking fee to get one in a store. You really screwed this Force Friday up, Lego.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I am currently having a difficult dilemma. Either buy these, or get Ninjago City

Gravatar
By in Canada,

So, are people's reviews allowed to go back up now? I've heard Lego's supposedly been taking them down because of reasons.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@shirhac check tomorrow maybe you had this issue because it was a day early?

Gravatar
By in Russian Federation,

What a surprise I didn't even saw these couple months ago.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

The Australian prices are double their American counterparts. The Resistance Bomber has a PPP of around 25 cents. I might buy one of these sets, if only to set it on fire and throw it into the Legoland Discovery Centre in Melbourne.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Wow! Those prices are ridiculous! Way worse than the last film. And now we've got a big round ball for a BB-8!

Gravatar
By in United States,

The price per piece ratio on almost all of these is ridiculous.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Okay, I guess they look all right, but price wise, WHAT on EARTH Lego?!? Apparently the bulk of their target audience has shifted to "rich kids."

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I hadn't bothered looking at these previously, but unfortunately there are at least four that really appeal to me, BB-8, Destroyer and Heavy assault are must buys -with the MF available - I really need to space out the purchases.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

@shirhac
See you at 10 at Lego Store Oberhausen....definetly with no parking fees at all.
Hope it is true that you will get both polybags at once if you spend at least 55 Euros, the Trooper and the walker.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

$170 for the Heavy Assault Walker in Canada?! This wave really appealed to me at first, but those prices are insane. Plus, if you check the Lego website, they're already calling The Last Jedi a "blockbuster". I know it will be, but seriously. That's a tad arrogant.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I actually avoided spoilers on these sets however i dont think ive ever been so underwhelmed by a whole lego release before. Im not sure if im blaming the look of the sets, which look a bit childlike (scout roller thing) or lazy (cockpit from lego resistance transport released as its own set) im not saying lego at fault here, im certain the issues come from the film. The other issue is pricing, im an afol who dosnt care bout budgeting, but as these are technically toys (not including freaky constraction) starting range from almost £50 smacks A bit of licencing mark up (mouse ears are not selling too well obviously)

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

Welp, store only promo? I guess that'll help me not get frustrated at [email protected]'s incapability to work. But I'm nog going tot the store either. Meh.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The Resistance "Bomber". If the price is acceptable and I can find it at a reasonable discount, I may even pick up two. Great coincidence for me that this set has a ton of pieces I need for MOCs and some useful new figure parts.
All the other sets don't impress me.. but that's better for my wallet, I still need this year's Modular Building.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

@sheikahknight910 definetely ninjago city! Better parts, better design, and better price!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Resistance pod was going to be a day one purchase for me believing that it would be £30, but £40 seems overpriced for its size and reminds me of the phantom set last year. Disappointing

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Some of the prices seem a little high and some a little low. Overall pretty reasonable I guess. But The pricing on 75176 is ludicrous. Only $30 versus the £40 we have to pay. :(

With these plus the new MF I'm gonna have to start saving and trying to find some good sales for these.

Also does anyone know if there are any retailer exclusives among these? If not then I think I'll just pick up the Starfighter with Hyperdrive this Force Friday.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I generally pick up one constraction figure from each movie, and this time I think it's going to be the Praetorian Guard.

The system sets are hugely expensive in the UK. I'll maybe pick up Kylo Ren's Tie-Fighter and the Star Destroyer in a sale, but nothing else really appeals to me.

Gravatar
By in United States,

UCS BB-8! Cool! And it's not $800!!

Gravatar
By in France,

Rebels bomber and KR's Tie are already purchased, no matter how expensive they are I like the designs so much. Then BB8 with VIP spared points. Pilot and Chewie buildable figures when on sales. And who knows? Maybe one day, in a far, far away galaxy, new UCS MF. Checking at comments, many like me complain of overpriced sets... What's going on with this license?

Gravatar
By in Sweden,

Utterly ludicrous that you weren't allowed to officially add images until today. LEGO/Disney/Lucasfilm's handling of the Last Jedi sets has been utterly catastrophic, between this and forcing people like Jangbricks to hide videos under the threat of legal action. Doesn't exactly make you want to break out your wallet and start spending.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I like the tie fighter, star destroyer, and heavy assault walker the best

Gravatar
By in United States,

Kylo Ren's TIE with the evil BB-8 for the win!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Anybody else looking at considering BB-8 as a UCS set? I am on the fence

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

@raypedro111 BB-8 is no less a UCS set than the R2-D2 a few years back and certainly looks better than the UCS Yoda :-D

Gravatar
By in United States,

Yeah I agree with you. Surprised it doesn't have that label. Also in surprised brickset hasn't labeled it as such.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Should we? I've debated it, but haven't changed it. I should probably ask Huw before putting on such a drastic label that many people can be sensitive about.

One thing's for sure: it's more of a UCS set than Insult on Hoth...

Gravatar
By in Germany,

I'd say it's a pretty good UCS candidate. The closest thing to it is 10225, which is considered a UCS set.
(And they're even pretty much to scale.)

Gravatar
By in United States,

#justiceforjang

Gravatar
By in United States,

I have decided I think brickset should label it UCS

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'll second it -- Go UCS for BB-8,and as long as you're updating the database, remove UCS for Collection of Previously Released Hoth sets.

Gravatar
By in United States,

^ LOL - well, I mean, it has the badge, we can't argue it. ;-)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Count BB-8 as a UCS set, IMO.
