That volcano lair looks cool, I have two sets of the old Agents one to make a bigger lair, now thinking I will need this too!
These all look really good. Can’t say the same for the film’s reviews, though... :(
Spoiler free comment: the movie was good, not great. Not a lot wrong with it, but I don't think it treaded a lot of new ground from, the original TLM.
It is frustrating to see these tiny lair sets that don't really capture the real locations from the movie. Sort of like how TLBM Batcave playset barely resembled the film version.
@ResIpsaLoquitur, I agree about the small sets, but they can't make a perfect recreation and still make it affordable for kids. Afterall, kids that see the movie and see this set will be excited. But their parents aren't going to buy a $300 for their kids. They always have to reduce down the details to appeal to wider audiences.
I'm very glad to be seeing new spinners, even if like the Airjitzu fliers before them they lack the same customization potential and battle game elements as the original spinners. It's surprising not to see their brick-built components more clearly advertised on the front of the package, though, since like the Airjitzu sets I expect them to have brick-built launchers and weapons and stuff.
The Quake Mech is a must-have for me and the Volcano Base is also probably going on my wish list due to its cool design and many unique minifigures. I might skip the Piranha Mech unless there doesn't end up being a lot of other stuff on my wish list for next year. It's definitely a funny and creative design, but not a tremendously exciting one, and the only figure that seems especially unique is its sole civilian.
YEEEEESSSSS THE RETURN OF SPINJITZU SPINNERS!!!
Yeah, I know. I wish there were a happy compromise between the detailed film, scenes and what we get.
Crazy big product portfolio and amount of inventory for a single property, since most offer the same UX.
Pretty cool!
Do I spy some sort of kickstand on Cole’s mech, or will it never stand up by itself?
Love the Piranha Chase. That's a fun little set for great value. Its definitely on my shopping list.
Was wondering how they'd fix the Quake mech, the kickstand / chock bar seems to be a good workaround if that's indeed what I spy behind the wheel.
The lair seems a little small and plain to me however. For the price however, its a good playset set. Plus, really like the tech beard. lol
Those prices seem a bit high. Do we have piece counts too?
The Quake Mech is a must buy for me. I have some Batbot ideas in mind for it.
I was worried when they announced the return of spinners but that spinner looks great. It is hard to spin them by hand. Capitalizing on the mechanics of Beyblades was a smart move.
Claas tire!
I love Cole's mech, but really wonder if and how it stands alone or not... Chase's nice too.
I really like the Garmadon face hidden in the design of his Volcano Lair. Considering it for the James Bond vibe.
@Brick't - it looks to me like there's a horizontal bar just behind the wheel which would support it freestanding. The whole model looks like it's somewhat back-heavy, which would naturally lean it onto the bar.
I suspect TLG has gone a little too "all in" on this movie with the number of sets. I guess only time will tell.
Glad to see Cole's Quakemech as a set. Thought it would be pretty cool after seeing the trailer. The price isn't as cool though. Ouch!
Oh! I see now, the Quake mech has this horizontal bar in the back that keeps it upright!
Nice. Some solid stuff here. Real sets, I like that.
That lair and quake mech man
The Quake Mech is absolutely must buy for me. It is the Ultimate Bat Mech Lol. But I love every single detail on it and that it comes with Lady Iron Dragon!
Ooh the tyre on the Quake Mech looks useful for a Technic MoC.
I like the newsman. :)
Quake Mech looks awesome, and the civilian fig resembles Cole's father from the show... I wonder if that was intentional, since the name doesn't seem right.
What about this set?

Are these also 2018?
I really want to see the other side of that volcano.
Piranha Chase is a nice little set, I love the cart build, the piranha is nothing interesting though. The Quake Mech is great and the tire piece is incredible. My personal favorite is the Volcano Base as I love location sets. My favorite part is the fish tank. Overall good wave, better then Lego Batman Movie wave 2, not near as good as Lego Movie wave 2.
AWESOME!!!!!
The Lloyd Spinner looks fun but the other sets don't really do it for me even after seeing the movie (it opened in cinemas in Australia yesterday). None of the first wave really work for me either beyond the CMF (not at the prices we are paying in Australia even with a 20% off sale)
Well the NinjaGo City is great and probably worth the asking price, I just cant afford one :(
@SarumanTheWhite: The first one you linked looks super fake. Probably just a MOC somebody photoshopped onto the Temple of the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon box. The second one is already in the Brickset database but we don't have finalized pics of it yet. It comes out this December.
That rickshaw in the Piranha Chase set makes the whole thing worth it XD
These look fun. Glad to see Koko is getting plenty of set appearences.
I think the volcano lair looks a bit underwhelming, actually. Typically with Ninjago, I like most of the minifigs, but the sets aren't really doing it for me.
Quakemech looks rad!
Sorry everyone, but the Piranha from the Piranha Chase is the bee's knees! I'd love to get a couple to rampage through my LEGO city streets.
So goofy it's cool, like most of Garmadon's Shark Army vehicles!
70629 looks cool, added to want list.
I love hair piece on misako and would totally have bought the cmf series to get her if I were not saving for the $300 ninjago city set, though I wish the driver of the paranha would have had a paranha head piece
I heard the volcano lair has a play feature to launch general 1s
Cole always gets the best vehicles.
i really want the garmadons lair as i love the legos playset builds so will be a must get for me !
After seeing the movie, there is one minifigure I absolutely want. Sadly, it is not shown in any of these products.
