3-for-2 on toys at Argos starts today

Interestingly, the SW Advent Calendar suddenly jumped from £24.99 to £29.99.... Hmmmm....

I did not need to buy more Lego this month! And yet I find myself £280 poorer. Thanks Huw... :)

Just picked up The Ultimate Batmobile, First Order Star Destroyer & First Order Heavy Assault Walker. Had a few gift vouchers as well so spent less than £200 on almost £400 of sets. Must stop looking at their site though or this could get really expensive.

Don’t forget that Amazon usually start to price match individual sets so that may be better if you only want one item.

Noticed that Smyths in the UK is also doing a 'Spend £50 and get £10 off' deal... they've jacked the priced up. The Scuttler which was £62 for ages, is up to £85 right now.

These Argos and Tesco deals normally prove to be very very expensive for me. Anyone got any opinions about which two of these three I should get: Garma Mech, Ninjago Lightning Jet, Jestro's mobile HQ (already down from £85 to £60).

@Brainslugged - Garma Mech is cool, and the jet is a great shade of blue, not too fussed on the HQ

So ordered x9 advent calendars - paid - got order confirmation

Then one got cancelled

Followed by only one available for pick up

Followed by one in transit

Got so annoyed that cancelled order which also proved difficult to do!

Save £15 on three Star Wars advent calendars (argos has them for 29.99) which I would then need to post to people

So have figured worth buying on amazon and getting posted direct to people

Poorly done by Argos! Unlike boots does not work out the best 3 for 2 deal so have to do seperate transactions on each one

Solved the problem by getting EVERYTHING :) The one thing I really wanted was the Scuttler, but that couldn't be picked up in store (this is essential so the wife doesn't kick my ass). But I was able to get that off Amazon for £43, and did the 3 for 2 on the three sets I mentioned above. Just a sucker for a good deal.

Got x4 advent calendars off amazon inc postage for 18.50 each

Worked at at 17.70 each at Argos then would have had to pack and post

So seems like everyone is getting something as a bonus!

am i the only one thinking buy 3x 42070 for £440, and sell them on ebay and make some money?

Thanks for the heads up picked up Heartlake Hospital(daughter's birthday), BB-8(daughter's Xmas) and Kai's Fire Mech for myself. Nice saving on sets I was getting anyway at some point soon. Picked up in store 15 minutes after ordering.

That moment when you waste 15 minutes of your time looking at good deals and then realize they don't ship to US. NOOOOOO!!!!! :(

Saved £75 today on buying three Star Wars sets (Kylo Ren's TIE was cheapest). Considering also getting the Resistance Pod, First Order Scout Walker and something else around £40-£50 assuming it's something I was missing.

I still can't stomach the £40 tag on the Resistance pod!

Just got the Destiny’s Bounty, Temple of the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon and Kai’s fire Mech. Nice haul I think!

Just got the LEGO Batman Movie Bane's Toxic Attack, LEGO Bat Movie Two Face Demoliti and LEGO Batman Movie The Batmobile. One step closer to completely my Batman collection!
