Yep. Dropped at 11:59 in the States. Close to $400 with tax, but wasn't interested in the Falcon (way, way too big for my liking) so at least I didn't pay over $1,300 on two Lego sets this fall :).

Got my order in, looks like the Canvas Tote bags are out of stock now and Lego Shopping Bags are being included as the free bag item instead.

Now backordered til 8th Dec. I was going to wait for double points but now glad I decided against that and ordered at midnight

Got mine ordered around 12.15ish in the morning. Have spent so much recently and need to plaster my lego room so I can show it all off at xmas.bit worried the room is too small. This is a beautiful set. My M Falcon still not touched since launch night. With it being signed I dont wont to open. Lol

I'm waiting for the review here of the actual set before purchasing to see what the diagnosis is regarding white brick consistency.

I still don't understand how they keep underestimating demand. It's happened three times this year, so hopefully Lego figures things out. As a fan, I really hope they quit screwing us over.

Mines shipped!!! Ordered as soon as they became available, I didn’t want to risk getting caught out like the millennium falcon again, although I’ve now managed to get a falcon since.

Pardon the question, but if I already have the 10189, is this set in no way different (except for the brick separator)?

@The Hacker The set is identical to 10189 except for the addition of a brick separator, one axle being a different colour and it now has numbered bags.

I can't believe how excited I am, my order that I placed yesterday said it was on back order for today and just like clock work it has progressed to being in the warehouse which means I'm finally going to get my hands on a Taj Mahal....oh how long I've waited to own you my precious

It’s also quite funny that there are still some hopefuls trying to get £2,000 or more for 10189!!! I messaged a couple to see what they’d accept for them for a laugh, they said “yeah but this is the older original one”. All I can say is good luck shifting them and let’s hope the rereleases continue!!!

I got mine just before 11am aest on Monday. I'll be building it then setting it on fire as part of a youtube "will it burn" video.

@CCC - I agree. And they'll also be limited to how many sets they can make in total across their range, so they'll also want to maximise production of sets destined for their core Christmas market.
Let's face it, most AFOLs who want this will still want it after Christmas.

@theHacker And there are numbered bags instead of unnumbered, they have changed the instructions from 3 booklets into 1 and increased number of building steps in the instructions from 70 to 281 (!). I wonder why did they come to conclusion it is necessary (maybe it is connected with numbered bags?) - the build looks fairly simple and very repetitive.

I think the building steps has increased because in the old instructions each time you built a section the building steps start back at 1 whereas in this and other newer sets the step numbers just continue to increase all the way through the build if you know what I mean!!!
The axle colour change is a 1x3 axle with end stop at the top of each minaret. I’m glad there are numbered bags this time rather than having nearly 6,000 pieces in a big pile at the same time.

I sold this set over the summer for $1100! Perfect timing.

My local Lego store still had them in stock tonight. Got to see it put together. Beautiful build!

Might get this at the next double/triple VIP point promo or when it gets available at LEGO.com or Kaufhof for a discount. Not that the price per part ratio at RRP would in any way be bad, but I'm in no rush to get this set, and the same tactic worked for me with the Death Star as well as the GB Firehouse (and the Classic TV series Batcave), so might work here as well.
