21314 TRON to be released in April
Posted by CapnRex101,
Mattonito has published an image of the Italian LEGO brand store calendar for March and April, seemingly confirming that 21314 TRON will be officially released next month.
It therefore seems very likely that the final set based upon BrickBros UK's project will be revealed within the next couple of weeks!

What about voltron
mh3490, I was just going to ask that!
Not a TRON fan. I'm going to pass on it. But, I know a lot of fans will want to pick this up.
I really want to see the Voltron set thou!! Hopefully soon!!
I would imagine that Voltron will be released around August based upon the LEGO Ideas release schedule in previous years.
I had no idea this existed but if it's not expensive then I'm interested. I would have preferred a light cycle from the original movie but this looks cool
Given how outrageously over-priced the Leviathan was, I'm concerned about the eventual price. I loved "Tron Legacy" and I'm definitely wanting to purchase one, but I don't think either this set or the eventual Voltron set (which I'm absolutely hanging out for) will be easy on my wallet.
Cool early Alril Fools joke, would love to see the set even though I am not buying it.
hope this comes out April 1st so i can get it with the promo
Would love to see both a classic and legacy light cycle
who'd even want that
Eagle eyed readers will notice the 5005358 Minifigure Factory on the right hand side of the page, which looks like a giveaway on a 55 euro spend during the first two weeks of April. Brickset doesn't have an image in the database yet.
At least I know what Tron is. I'm tentatively excited to see how the final design works out and what it consists of. Unlike the ship in a bottle there's probably room for expansion rather than downsizing, given the original design that was pretty much just one light cycle.
I'm still aching a little that the functional LHC model didn't get chosen in its own shortlist. I don't think it was the Tron shortlist but it was a really fun looking model.
For everyone complaining about the unknown, but overpriced, price point... It will be 20% by Christmas. All the less than $100 Idea sets in recent years have been 20% or more off rather quickly.
Awesome!
I am SO hyped for this. My family has always been a huge fan of Tron. Cannot wait.
I got more interest for the free set wich is given by purchasing over 55 euros.
@redgreenblue: the even more eagle eyed ones might see, that the US version of the Minifigure Factory seems to look different from this European one (for example classic space vs classic polic decorations).
I can't say I'm particularly interested. If I find it cheap somewhere maybe for parts...
^ Also too bad the 2nd sequel got cut short for another famous Sci-Fi franchise now owned by Disney. I was really hoping we would see a new (literally) rebooted Grid. The Off-road Tank that drives into the wall of the arena would also have made a good set.
