41614 Owen & Blue revealed
Posted by CapnRex101,
The BrickHeadz range already encompasses a broad range of different themes and is expanding even further in 2018.
41614 Owen & Blue is the first BrickHeadz set from Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. We expect the set to cost $19.99 in the US but we do not yet know whether it will be exclusive to a certain store, following the recent example of 41489 Rey and Kylo Ren.
Let us know what you think of this set in the comments. I imagine Blue might prove divisive!

I love the look of Owen, especially the way they designed his hair! Blue looks okay, I'm not sure about the face or the way they did the mouth, but it's growing on me...
I noticed these don't have the number on the baseplate. Will that be added when the set is released? I wondered if the Rey and Kylo set (41489) was also like this, but each of those BrickHeadz have numbers on the baseplates. Thoughts?
I think I might prefer Blue with an overbite rather than an underbite, maybe try flipping those tooth tiles see what it looks like
^ The Infinity Wars brickheadz are shown without their numbers as well.
Owen is awesome and his gun and hair are equally well done. Blue is a little funny-looking but seems to be a good middle ground between accuracy and conforming to style.
bbeck018: What I’ve seen is that all series 2 BrickHeadz doesn’t contain any printed pieces for the baseplate. Really like the printed pieces as they were some special, but LEGO probably didn’t thought the same.
I've said it before and I'll say it now its almost infinitely expandable. Who would have thought a few years ago after some strange new Comic com things appeared that we would have nearly 60 of them and now a Dinosaur. Fair play Lego there isn't one I haven't liked yet. More please.......
Not sure about Blue
At first I thought Blue looked good but now I am not a fan.
Brickheadz with printed elements are lame.
Just when I thought I'd totally run out of patience with these Brickheadz things, and they release a little velociraptor.
Touche, Lego. Touche.
OTOH, I've found myself wondering what happens when the Pop Vinyl bubble bursts. It's going to eventually, everything does. At least with these, once they're no longer collectable, you can take them apart and build other stuff with them, so I guess there's that.
@Zordboy: The Pop Vinyl bubble already has burst. Pretty much everywhere you go you can see hundreds of these shelf warming. Its only the chase figures and variants that are in demand. Heck, one of my local collectable stores isn't getting them anymore as he finds it hard to sell them, even at shows.
Shouldn’t Owen have a print for his facial hair? Other than that these look good. Will buy to complete my Brickheadz collection.
@ KyloRen0806.
All the series 2 Brickheadz that have been released so far, have a printed 2 x 4 tile on the base just like series 1. Even the seasonal ones have one as well.
Awesome!
not a brickheadz fan, but i'll buy this for Blue--then use Owen for parts.
Not sure about the velociraptor, I'm not convinced the styling works too well for animals.
I wonder if LEGO is testing the waters with Blue to see if larger models are possible. I know Funko has larger bobbleheads so LEGO could do a cool T-Rex one at an appropriate size.
I heard it's supposed to be a Wal-Mart exclusive.
I wonder if the universe explodes if you get an Owen and a Star Lord brickhead too close to each other.
Nasty. Ugly.
@giantorange
I'm not convinced the styling works too well for humanoids.
All I can see is delicious sand & dark green pieces !
I wish these were separate. I'd love to get the dinosaur for $5 on clearance.
This may be the first Brickheads I buy aside fromt th "build your own figure" set.
@CapnRex101 Where were these images first from? Are they officially revealed, or are they still considered leaks?
Gross.
These are actually pretty cool. Not a big fan of Owen's hair, but Blue looks fantastic!
I'm not a Brickheads fan and this set of Owen and a green comedy dolphin hasn't changed that.
Are we sure this isn't Star Lord and Old Lace?
Pretty sure that’s Keith Harris & Orville...
It's Barney the Dinosaur!
Blue looks goofy but I love it XD
I find it funny that a dinosaur that is called "Blue" is predominantly green.
@Austin Powers, it seems that it is due to the blue streak behind her eyes. In the actual movie she had a blueish tint to her while the others were more brown or just green.
I might get Owen so I can use his head for a mask-less Star-Lord.
Weird that Blue here has the color scheme of her 2015 system set form rather than the new one they made for Fallen Kingdom this year. I'm not complaining (I preferred '15 Blue's colors) but it's still odd.
Chris Pratt - first actor to have Brickheadz versions of two different characters he has played?!
