Exclusive minifigure with LEGO DC Super-Villains video game

Posted by ,

The new LEGO DC Super-Villains video game was officially announced yesterday and we have now received information about an exclusive figure which will be available with certain editions of the game.

This version of Lex Luthor wears an armoured Superman suit and is based upon the version of the character from 2016's DC Rebirth. It will only be packaged with the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Playstation 4 Deluxe Editions of the video game.

By in United Kingdom,

Looks good but I won’t be getting it until I have the Nintendo switch but it just costs too much :(

I mean, I'd have preferred about a few hundred other DC characters who need minifigures, but this is still cool :) enjoyed his storyline in Rebirth.

That is a weirdly obscure character to get his own minifig.

Cool new Superman suit...same old Lex head. Definitely towards the lower end of characters who need a minifigure.

This is why it's sucks to be a PC gamer, no more physical Deluxe or Collector's editions

Cool fig, not really a gamer so the game doesn't really matter to me.

I'm really happy with this minifigure - it may be the best one that they've offered with a LEGO game so far. I'm definitely preordering the game.

Wondered when this was going to turn up, seen a few being sold on facebook already.

Pretty cool figure, but I'm sad they stopped making games for the DS and 3DS as those are the only gaming devices I have and I don't like the other platforms. I'll try to pick Lex up on BrickLink or something I suppose.
@XIII- I think the Silver Centurion is definitely the best figure Lego has offered with a game and it's one of the best Lego figures ever IMO.

I've been pretty darn dissapointed with the pre-order figs the last year or so. I mean, a few years back we got the AWESOME Silver Centrion, which by the way is very expensive now. With the newest Marvel Super Heroes, game, we got Goliath (which isn't very 'awesome'). I would've loved to see Spider-Gwen packed in there. And now, we get a boring Lex Luthor, with no arm or leg printing. So yeah, video game exclusive minifigures have been quite dissapointing mostly.

Nice minifig... Although there's been a good few lex Luther figs over the years, lego could of gone with General zod, braniac, bookworm or a villain from the flash or green Arrow instead.

I might of been wowed more if it was someone else from the dc villain community..

Awesome, just wish I knew how much the Deluxe Edition costed.

Do you play as the villains in this new game? WHy would you want to do that?

Well, the figure looks cool, but since I don't have any of those systems, I don't see myself buying the game. I pre-ordered the Marvel game for Silver Centurion and the game is still sealed. Is it cheaper to buy the game and sit on it (no one bought it on ebay when I tried selling the sealed game) or buy the figure later for a ridiculous price? Oh well. I'm slowly over the minifigure craze since the market is so saturated now. Especially with super heroes. When will it end? One word, never...

Cool figure, except for the head, which I've seen dozen of times before on generic bad guys henchmen. Like all Lego games I've played, I'll wait a year to buy the digital version with all dlc included with a huge discount.

A lot of people are disappointed by the lack of an exciting new character but I think it's good that a potentially more interesting DC side character isn't locked into an exclusive game. I think it's much better to reserve 'exclusive figure' slots for costumes and alternate versions, and save the new characters for sets.

Cool mini-fig and game sounds okay. But I've been wondering why there hasn't been another LEGO Star Wars game since The Force Awakens.
