I would of thought they’d release Star Wars aswell but i guess not? Doesn’t bother me though anyway. But it’s nice to see that for some magazines people have equal chances to get them now :)

By in Portugal,

The Star Wars one is published by different companies in Europe, presumably the license is negotiated separately.

Does anyone know if the Jurassic World issue will (ever) be available in the US? I really want that Baby Raptor and Nest set...thanks for any insight!

By in United States,

AMAZING LEGO TOY!

one minifigure! with SWORD!

Very child-centric advertising, for very child centric idea. Doesn’t actually look too bad.

By in United Kingdom,

Hardly a bad thing for these to be available in more places, they sometimes have really nice builds or desirable figs, even if the magazines are way too expensive in my country to make buying them a cost-effective endeavour.

By in Australia,

What about Australia? :( We miss out on just about everything and pay more for sets the US & UK. Take the new Hogwarts set, $400 in the US, that's about $520 in AU with the exchange rate, but the set will cost $650 AU retail here. Now that Toys-r-us is closing down here too, the availability of larger sets outside of RRP is going to get a lot harder to find too. Rant of the day over lol!!

By in Bulgaria,

$11 though? That seems a bit silly.

Star Wars one never has minifigs

By in United States,

In my area, Food City and Food Lion have carried these since the Spring and my first thought was its $11 price tag for a tiny $4 set. I can almost buy three polybags, or a 100 piece set for that.

By in United Kingdom,

Glad they've shared the love! Hope more of the world gets the mags.
They can be hit & miss (the Star Wars one has some good background fluff & in-jokes sometimes [and included Kanan Jarrus minifigure once, Jackthenipper!] and the builds are often worth it.
The LEGO itself is usually available on eBay too.
However: eleven bucks is MADNESS.

By in United States,

ELEVEN dollars? I can't imagine this will do well.

By in United Kingdom,

Does anyone know when the new Jurassic world magazine will come out?(the second issue)

Gravatar
By in United States,

$11 for sets you can buy at Target for $4? I'm sure these will sell really well. hahaha

Gravatar
By in United States,

11.00 for a polybag and some fluff?!... coughs up half a lung (reminds self to quick smoking), blinks in bewilderment, stops typing like this...

Gravatar
By in United States,

Holy crap. I could MAYBE see $11 for the SW 'zine, but not for CITY. I would be willing to spend $6, but not $11. Anyone know what the subscription price is?

Gravatar
By in Spain,

11$ for a 30-40 parts polybag is way too much. In Spain it's about half that price!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Last time I looked, the subscription price to the US was also around $10. I never did pull the trigger, even for the Star Wars foil packs. (Technically you can't buy _these_ sets at Target for $4, but you can get similar ones.)

Gravatar
By in United States,

they are 3.99 Euro across Europe . 11 $ is an NOT AWESOME RIP OFF.

Just milking the Hype nothing else . Sorry i will not buy these.

Gravatar
By in United States,

No you can't buy these sets, but you can buy very similar ones, only difference is they are actually better than these. Heck the mountain battlepack is $8 in every store in the USA, comes with a quad and four figures.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

If you're in the US, only want the set (not the mag) and don't mind waiting, the cheapest someone in the UK could get it to you is about $9 (including the UK cost plus shipping but at no profit), saving you a measly $2 which probably isn't worth all the hassle.

Usually, the US has the best LEGO prices. But for these, I feel sorry for USAFOLs. $11 is ridiculous.

@TheLegoFan The second issue of jurassic world is coming in august, can't wait for the Owen figure as it would now be more widely available

By in United States,

I was excited to find out that these were available in the USA, and I was ready to go out and buy a copy of each, but then I saw.... dun dun DUN..... the PRICE!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Gravatar
By in Australia,

@Squidy74h: the Ninjago magazine is available in Australian newsagents. It costs about A$8 with a minifigure. Not great value but some of the figures are pretty cool.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I was wondering if this was the case because I've seen them out for a few weeks in the US (Florida), I was outraged by the price so I skipped them......yesterday I got the Lloyd one at Five Bel°w for $5, if you want one cheap, try there.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Yeah, the Ninjago magazines have been available in Australia for a while now. Given the cost of minifigures these days, I don't mind paying $8 for a magazine with a bonus fig. Some of the figs are rare and interesting.

But there was no sign of the Jurassic World magazine or polybag with the baby dinosaur nest. I've found that the Friends, Elves and Nexo Knights magazine-gifts are usually lovely little sets (the City ones aren't bad either), so I've been buying a lot of those off eBay and Bricklink lately. They don't come with instructions, so, that is one challenge.

By in United States,

I moved from the UK to the US and it sucks not being able to get the Star Wars one anymore. I've been checking the local Safeway every time and it's just the 3 mentioned. And they cost a bomb too! All magazines and Blu Rays are ridiculously expensive here!

By in Sweden,

The minibuilds for Star Wars and Ninjago are often quite good, but the Friends builds suck. Very pricey. Haven’t seen the City magazine.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Makes a lot of sense now as to why my searching was always a failure.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I have no idea what $11 is in British £s. Does that price compare well to other comics available? In the UK modern children's comics are generally very poor for the price and are more about the 'free' toy on the front and the actual comic is pathetic. It has to be a very very special reason for me to pay out for once of these comics.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

£8.39! Good grief! That's expensive. I grumbled when the Beano recently went up to £2.75 from £2.50. £4.99 is usually my limit for a special comic (ie going on a train journey). I wouldn't pay 8quid for the Lego comics. They are not worth that.
