Friends Advent Calendar - Day 12
Posted by MeganL,On Day 2, the build was something to represent Andrea. On Day 7, the build was something to represent Emma. If this is a pattern that holds, then today the build will be something to represent another Friend. It also marks the halfway point of our advent calendar. I've been quite pleased with the ornaments we've had so far. Let's take a look at Day 12!
I'd say today's build most certainly represents one of the Friends - and there's not a purple brick to be seen! Today we have a trophy, and like Day 7, it's a smaller representation of the one of the builds in 41346 Friendship Box.
The trophy is built using primarily medium azur bricks, and has a yellow star ornamentation. Two 1x1 lamp holders in white provide two means of hanging the ornament from the tree.
In the Friendship Box, the trophy belongs to Stephanie. Additionally, medium azur is commonly associated with her, and the graphic on today's door features a star, which is a symbol often seen on Stephanie's sets.
It's not very Christmassy, and a straightforward little build. I like that we have representation of three of the Friends so far, and we're only half way through.

A nice trophy build, good use of contrasting blues
It's not Christmassy and it's not purple :(
Alas, it doesn't hold a candle to yesterdays' lantern.
I just sterted hyperventilating.... I read the words "not a bit of purple". NO PURPLE?!
These Friends-based ornaments may not be the best builds, but they haven’t been the worst (Candle, I’m thinking about you...), and I’m really glad the designers thought to tie an ornament back to each Friends.
No purple ... but with the dark blue and pink plate, I feel like they split the difference either way.
I'm holding a 2x2 45 slope in front of my screen (and typing one-handed) because it was the closest dark-purple part I could spot...
A trophy? I thought it's a cup with the foam flowing over the rim.
