Now you can buy the Marvel minifigure pack online
Posted by Huw,
5005256 Marvel Super Heroes Minifigure Collection is now available for purchase on Hamleys Website.
At £20 it's not cheap by any means but it's still a bit of a bargain given its rarity and the desirability of the included minifigures.
So, place your order while there's still stock!
Update: It appears to have been removed from the shop now. Perhaps it wasn't supposed to be sold. The 'Brickset effect' I guess!

I rather buy Wong in a set as he is the only that I want.
It's times like this I wish somebody responsible had power of attorney over my finances...
If you spend over £50 on Lego you get it for free.
Shipping costs too high for Italy! Are they crazy ??
@LegoHound33 That's what it says, but I don't seem to have had the £20 deducted from my order after placing a £52, well now £72, order.
Says it wont ship to my address in the US, bummer.
Ordered to the US... lets see if this goes through.
I was just about to purchase one but now the listing seems to have vanished? It's just dissapearred from my cart :(
@blasto14: same, I'm hoping they took it out and are trying to fix the free purchase with 50 GBP Lego order since it wasnt working before
@Fatoran: Free with £50 is in store only, it seems.
I put in an order for two after checking to to see if the £50 spend thing worked (it didn't). If that promo does appear online, I'll have to cancel the order and try to get one as a freebie.
It seems to have gone off the website completely now, not sure what happened.
Why couldn't Smyths take these
Too bad. :(
Like others had a basket with it in, was debating whether to buy for £20 even though it said it was free then it went. BE interesting to see if they honour any internet purchases from the last few hours.
Interesting that they've taken it down. I put in an order with some colleagues before they went offline, so hopefully they honour my purchase, even if my order confirmation does now say "Item description no longer available".
Huw, Is that the ‘Brickset effect’?
Jack Rizzo, if you scroll down to tracking, does it say "stock allocated"? Think it only says "item description no longer available" since they took down the listing...
@PJ76uk yes, it says "stock allocated".
Someone going by the name "Amtw2017" claims to have bought a "truck load"...

^ Jack Rizzo, hopefully they fulfill the order then!
I bet tons of people still got it, that's a shame as I liked having a somewhat rare set
Glad I got it w/some great Speed Champions sets last weekend :) Hopefully all who placed an order will get one, as well as everyone who wanted one.
So does this mean I can’t get it? :’(
I wonder if there’s a other shop that has these in the uk??
Why does Lego make it so challenging to buy products. I bet the quest for the Holy Grail was easier!
My orders also stated “Stock Allocated”, but nearly all have now been cancelled. It’ll only be an eBay race to the £5 - £10 bottom anyway.
'Stock Allocated', I ordered before 2pm so hopefully it will go through okay...
@Captain Plastic: not so sure about the Holy Grail.
Look it up, Monty Python made a documentary about the quest for it. Looked quite perilous...
;-)
Just received email with tracking number so looks like orders are being fulfilled...
@TabbyBoy peoples' orders are being cancelled?
EDIT: it looks like some greedy so-and-sos have ordered between 40 and 200 each to resell on eBay at a markup. Sad when people will abuse deals like this and ruin it for the rest of us. My friends and I are just trying to complete our Infinity War collections, very disappointed in these scalpers' behaviour.
Yes, I got an email confirming delivery too. 40 to 200 in one order? Some people are always trying to skate uphill...
@Jack Rizzo.... If you snooze, you lose. Everybody has every right to purchase as many items as they want if the retailer allows this. Feel free to call me greedy, but why not make a ton of money legally by doing nothing? BTW... I don't sell on eBay as I can sell for a lot more elsewhere with no fees. Have a lovely day and go all-in if you have the guts. Don't rant about somebody else's success as there's only one person to blame ;-)
I'd happily send you one for £20 as I bought hundreds from TRU's liquidators at an auction.
@TabbyBoy you do you, mate. I'm not here to argue, but I stand by my earlier statement.
It's fine, I'm sure he's paying tax on it.
@TabbyBoy I’ll take one for £20 if you’re offering
Got my shipping confirmation. Fingers crossed the right thing will turn up!
@Ironsights best of luck!
I would imagine it's the Hot UK Deals effect, rather than Brickset. That site is built to get people buying.
Mine and my colleagues' sets just arrived, hopefully that gives some hope to anyone who managed to get an order in and doesn't know if it's being fulfilled. If you get an email about a refund or return, don't worry - it might be because you spent over £50 and they're refunding the cost of one of the packs.

Apologies for the duplicate posts! Not sure how that happened.
Mine arrived today safe and sound :)
3 sets arrived safely via parcelforce.
Anyone still trying to get hold of one of these, Hamleys Customer Service say Regent St Store will accept phone orders (tel: 0371 704 1977 ). You’ll have to pay £9.99 postage but they’ll honour the spend £50 get the Marvel set free offer.
Thanks for the tip Pilch_84. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get it sorted after calling them. They said it was in store only at first, then informed me it wasn't possible to place telephone orders and finally that it wasn't in stock anyway. Erm.
This whole thing has been a disaster in my opinion. I'll be writing a considerable complaint to both LEGO and to Hamleys. I e-mailed LEGO directly about four months ago enquiring about the set and never heard back.
Hamleys should have been briefed about the popularity of the product and never should have been permitted to sell 200 copies.
This whole thing is my worst LEGO experience to date. I have a collection of 600+ LEGO Marvel minifigures including customs and this leaves me a bit devastated! If anyone has a spare, let me know; happy to pay and throw in some extras or something.
Hi @ReZourceman, It took a bit of perseverance but eventually got there - I called a few times and left a message; Sarah at Regent St called me at 8:30pm last night to physically scan £50 worth of City/Friends sets and add the Marvel set free (after two people at Customer Services assured me phone orders were possible).
Annoyed that I had to pay £9.99 postage when some got multiple of these sets and free delivery, but it is what it is. Agreed that Hamleys haven't handled this particularly well. I e-mailed Lego too this week, they said "some sets are only available in certain regions" and randomly suggested I could get a friend in the USA to order it from the US Lego Shop and post it to me - but I looked and they don't have it listed at all...
Pilch_84, you absolute hero of a man. I contacted them again and asked to speak directly to the Regent's Street store and it was pretty much exactly as you said. I believe I spoke to Monica in the Customer Services on, I believe one of the lower floors. Their service was very good this time actually; when I was passed over to the branch, they took my name and telephone number instead of disconnect.
So I spoke to Monica, she knew exactly which set I was talking about, asked me if I knew which LEGO I wanted to order to enable the free set, (I've got everything I wanted so just got five x the dropship sets to do some Outrider army building) then she passed me to the upper floors to check the stock, (she took my number this time and said she would call me back after she gets the stock in front of her). Spoke to another kind person this time on the stock floor, quickly was able to tell me that they had five of the dropship sets in stock, and that he would take them down to Monica. She called me back, and we completed the transaction.
They were also very explicit about the £9.99 delivery cost a couple of times (I agree with you, it's a hefty price, but good that they were so up-front about it).
It means a tonne to me that I've been able to get the set and all thanks to you; I wouldn't have thought to try contacting Hamleys directly about it, so only did so because of you. Thanks again, have a great weekend.
All this fuss and it's all because of the Lego group handing these out to retailers across the world poorly.
Hi @ReZourceman, please help me. I no longer know what to do, because I have such a situation that I cannot go to the store. And they respond poorly to calls. What does the store offer now? They give it for free, but you have to pay 10 pounds for delivery? Or do they give it for an order of 50 pounds + 10 pounds for delivery? Who can answer me? Please give at least some answer.
Yeah, there is seemingly no option to purchase the promotional item itself, and you have to spend £50 on LEGO to get the free product, and then pay the £9.99 delivery, so your total spend will be around £60.
ReZourceman, did you communicate and make an order by phone? Can they do this in phone mode? I am not in London now, and I cannot physically come to the store. This is so sad in reality, because I wanted to get this set from last year on Bricktober :(
Yep, phone. Ask to speak directly to the store.
ReZourceman, can I ask you a few more moments? If it is convenient, then write to you on gmail?
@ReZourceman excellent, glad to help out a fellow Lego Marvel collector! :)
Pilch_84, can you please help me? I am not in London now, and I don’t know how to place an order. Can they take an order in phone mode? This set is the last one, which I lack to complete the collection :(
Hi legozed, try UK number tel:0371 704 1977. Ask to speak to the London Regent St store (think it’s option 2 and when you get to the Hamleys switchboard). Check they have stock and as long as you place £50 worth of Lego you’ll get it free. Not sure how much delivery would be outside the UK, though.
Pilch_84, ?ould you email me and give an exact instruction? I'm just not sure how they will order in phone mode. After all, they may not want to accept payment by phone. Yes, and I do not know how they do it. Unfortunately, I am not able to be in London now, so please indicate the right path to purchase
Legozed sure, let me know your email address and l’ll send details over
Pilch_84, uahsps @gmail.com. Thank you very much!
Thanks to the Hamleys London store workers for their excellent work
