LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Trivia Challenge
Posted by CapnRex101,
Avengers: Endgame is approaching rapidly and represents the culmination of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to this stage. An excellent selection of LEGO sets take inspiration from this film series and are the focus of our new trivia challenge!
We have therefore compiled twenty multiple choice questions, encompassing the full LEGO Marvel Cinematic Universe range from April 2012 until today.
You can choose to test your memory of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes or research the answers on Brickset. When you have answered every question, click submit and scroll back towards the top of the page to view your result.
Please note that references to sets do include polybags.
Remember to read the questions carefully and good luck!
Let us know how you performed in the comments but please refrain from revealing the answers.

11/20 lol. Does anyone actualy know the difference in part count question?!
18/20 not bad :D
12/20, that's a bit embarassing considering I own most of these sets!
There seems to be a problem with the fire extinguisher question- no correct answer is showing up?
17/20
Love these quizzes, please make these a regular thing.
Got 15/20. The answers to questions about which Guardian and Avenger appeared in the most sets aren't what they seem!
10 -- hanging my head in shame
7/20... Always better! LoL LoL LoL
16/20! Looks like I’m ready for the endgame. :-)
I did all by memory, but I obviously know more about Lego Star Wars than the Lego MCU!
Still 11/20 correct answers which proved to be more than I anticipated.
Thanks CapnRex for the trivia challenges!
Takes my mind off of all sorts of craziness going on in the world today... I do feel lucky and privileged to live the life I can.
Happy Easter to all Brickset staff, members and readers!
I think the question about the dum-e is a trick question because one of the three that were listed was a poly bag and in the question it says how many SETS.
14/20
quite surprised about this score
The notes for question 15 say that hulk has appeared in nine sets, but shouldn’t only four of these count since the question specifies minifig form, not bigfig or some other form?
13/20 without research. Decent, really.
Thanks - this was great fun. I imagine it took quite a while to create. Looking forward to a Batman one!
14/20. I really enjoyed this. Most quizzes about Lego aren't challenging at all but this was actually fun to take!
16/20 ??
That's a lot of fire extinguishers
9/20 Darn, it was fun I’ll look forward to more trivia
17/20! Unsuprisingly, since it became my favorite theme after SW's new trilogy dissapointed me.
6/20
I am reluctant to post that score...
Time for studying...
I need a quiz on a theme I actually know something about like CMS.
3/20 - guess I'm not really into Marvel Universe
Yay... Someone listened to me on here i suggested this after the second star wars trivia, and i got 9/20 on this one
And as i only 12 then 8 out of 20 on the star wars ones Quite proud..
5/20 happy i didn't get more than i got in S.w
8/20, many of the questions are like "what?"
No spoilers, but there is a numbering error in the answer to which Iron Man set hasn’t been made yet.
Oh, and 11/20
15/20 - Not too bad. Although questions such as the piece count difference between the Milano sets or which of the Avengers / Guardians has appeared the least sets caught me off guard. Well played, Brickset, well played. :)
13/20. Not bad, but could've been better, I think.
Didn't look anything up, though!
Nice quiz, once again!
9/20 with a lot of guesswork
18/20. Forgot that Hawkeye was in a polybag so he has more sets than Widow, and I thought that there were only 12 fire extinguishers in MCU sets. Should've known it was 18!
18/20, not bad, I got the only two I guessed on wrong, the Milano piece count and the iron man armor one. Thank you, this was a great quiz! Job well done to anyone who got a good score.
Also is LEGO sponsored by a local fire department? Almost every set, not just marvel, has a fire extinguisher. Lol.
Thank you for this quiz and website and a Happy Easter to all!
5/20, not bad, could be better..
13/20
I got 14/20 :)
Thanks for yet another amazing quiz!!
Clearly I know as much about Marvel as I do Star Wars because on the first quizzes for both I got 14/20 lol
Happy Easter everyone!
Can’t wait for Endgame!!
14/20, much to my surprise
8/20 - I thought I would have done better...though some guessing was involved.
17/20!
You guys really should have done a "What's Missing?" series for the MCU.
12/20- These are enjoyably challenging. I recommend doing Harry Potter next!
Happy Easter!
17/20, not bad at all
Not a Marvel fan (only has the Sanctorium set and a few loose figs) so I didn't expect much, but 3/20 is still pretty crap since in theory I should've gotten 5 from guessing alone.
Does anyone actually remember the color/meaning of the Power Glove gems? Never gotten the heads and tails of these - I'd think it would be natural to have Space, Time, Matter and Energy gems and maybe throwing in a Soul one for good measure, but what's the difference between the Soul and Mind gems? And what does the Reality gem represent - some kinda multiverse thing?
BTW, isn't it possible to show some stats for how many getting the various questions right?
19/20!!! As a huge LEGO Marvel fan I take this as a compliment. The most Guardians and fewest Avengers questions were tough. Guessed on the Milano one, going off of price difference instead. I got the fire extinguisher question wrong, but I was only thinking of the classic 2 piece build from early sets. What a fun quiz!
8 out of 20.... not bad considering every answer was a guess. Never seen any of the movies nor bought any of the corresponding sets.
Why do people keep saying things like “15/20 without looking anything up” or “with no research?” If you look up the answers, it’s not a quiz. It doesn’t test your knowledge or memory, it only test your ability to look things up. And if you did look it up, how could you possibly not get all of them right? If you tried looking up the answers and only got 15 out of 20, that’s a pretty shameful result on all counts.
man 6/20, worse than the first star wars one, hahaha
18/20, I guessed 12 for the fire extinguishers and on question 18 i guessed star lord, forgetting about rocket's smaller appearances in "rocket raccoon" and "rocket's warbird"
12/20 even though that seemed easy. wasn't far from the answer most of the time, like the guardians of the galaxy, had the right count for all them but forgot the 2 raccoons who were not in regular sets. well, basically what the above poster said.
Only 14/20.
Never been a big fan of Marvel though.
Worse than the Star Wars quizzes. Guess my luck ran out. 4/20
14/20, this was a hard one. I consider myself fairly knowledgeable in regards to the MCU so this was a surprise and great quiz overall!
14/20, not bad, there were some tricky ones here! I was very wrong about the last question
Awesome quiz! 14/20
Bring on Avengers Endgame
17/20, shouldn't have messed up 2 of the others..
still, it's ok
There actually is one "set" based on Thor: The Dark World. If you look at the SDCC exclusive minifigure of The Collector https://brickset.com/sets/COMCON035-1/The-Collector you will see that he has a black and transparent red thing that he's holding in his right hand, that thing is the Red Reality Stone and it was presented to him in an after the credits scene in Thor: The Dark World, the set was released in 2014 but it is based on Thor: The Dark World and not Guardians of the Galaxy like the packaging suggests. Always check your facts!
@hotdogonthebbq - Our facts have been checked thoroughly. The packaging is the ultimate authority where intended source material is concerned and The Collector is therefore based upon Guardians of the Galaxy. Moreover, the minifigure was available at San Diego Comic-Con during the summer of 2014 to coincide with Guardians of the Galaxy being released.
I imagine the Reality Stone was included as a reference to Thor: The Dark World and to avoid repetition of the Power Stone which already appeared in three Guardians of the Galaxy sets.
15. I can't express how much I enjoy these.
14/20. Love these quizzes!
Someone fixed the bigfig issue. Thanks.
14/20!
12/20
17
16 out of 20
Drax was actually in all of the sets, he was just standing incredibly still . . .
15/20, but three were near misses, and only two were flat-out "I have no idea what I'm doing". I've never kept track of the numbers for Iron Man's armor designs (and it's hard for me to understand how people do keep the numbers straight!) and I didn't pay any attention to the Helicarrier set after seeing the price tag.
There's a few I was tempted to fact check before submitting, but bit my tongue, or the finger equivalent, lol
9/20. As I am not a real fan of the range, even if I own many loose minifigs and one or two sets, I thought it would have been worse. Not that bad for me. I like these trivias. Thank you Brickset team.
20/20! The only question that troubled me was the fire extinguisher one but I just guessed the highest amount and got it correct!
15/20. Less than I hoped. Still, not too bad.
15/20 failed with stones on gauntlet and appearances Widow
15/20 Not bad, though a couple questions were no-brainers once I knew the answer. XD
For knowing very little about Lego's Marvel range, and only having seen one MCU movie in total... 9/20 is a surprisingly good score!
There were a couple of those that I actually did know the answers to, while most of the rest that I got were pretty much educated guesswork. I'm pretty happy, though, that I got both the Infinity Stone questions right... particularly since I simply deduced my answers based on where each stone started out at the beginning of Infinity War, not knowing anything of their past history before that xD
13/20 and I only just developed an interest in Marvel!
16/20
9/20...based on the questions, I'm okay with that...I definitely need to build more of my sets...I at least would have known the Daredevil had I built that set haha
6/20. I don't really pay attention to the trivia of the sets so I knew I would not do well. I really like the Marvel line of sets but I get (ask for my birthday, Christmas, etc.) very few of them as I have cut WAAAYYYYY back on LEGO purchases.
You should make a list of all trivia challenges
12/20. This made me realise I'm more fond of LEGO Marvel than I considered...
12/20.
14/20, which reflects that I didn't start paying close attention until recently. Cursing myself for not jumping in with both feet from the start!
I got 15/20 I guess I'm close to being a Lego Marvel Expert!
16/20, not bad considering what I got on the star wars one
