$20 for all that?! YES! I love new LEGO HP!
As if more proof was needed that this reboot is the best decision Lego has made in a very long time.
I have 1 complaint... Couldn't we have had a specific Death Eater, preferably Lucius Malfoy?
YAY!!!
put that beauxbaton carriage and grindelwald's from 75951 in a race against each other! XD
I'm really hoping for a large diagon alley set this year...
These additional sets looks great!
First set with regular horses since 2015.
Last set that used a white minifig horse was Scooby Doo Mystery Plane Adventures
I love them ! Both seem to offer a good value for money and damn they look good.
I feel the Hidden Side graveyard looks better than the rise of voldermort. I really hope there is some type of function on the ground part as it doesn't look the nicest.
With these and the Hidden Side releases, we've got TWO graveyard sets this year! Inconceivable!
Very cool how the carriage opens up.
1947andallthat I completely agree but I’m 100% sure that they’re going to do a second Harry Potter CMF so I think he’ll be in that along with some of the other missing characters because that’s what they did with the last wave
Must buy both.
They are not regular horses, they are pegasi :P
I love the hats for Fleur and her sister ^V^
Its a zhame that carriage is so expensive tho º_º
I was really hoping for some ghosts with the Graveyard Set, but both still look very good and are definitely going in my basket! :)
I second the big diagon alley set!!! I’m sure majority of us are waiting for re-release or a new BIG HUGE Diagon Alley!!!!
No Cedric Diggory in the graveyard set!!! but not bad for $20, I will just have to find an extra form the minifig packs from last year
Goodness the Voldemort set looks awesome.
Gosh diggity darn it! My wallet can't keep up!
I, m impressed with both especially the rise of voldemort, Is Harry working the Graveyard shift lol..
Plus lego always make great carriages Cinderella's had a few:
Now Please Make an updated Burrow and Diagon Alley with Gringotts Bank..
Wow, these look soooooooo good.... and I pity my wallet....
Compared to the hidden side graveyard, this one looks a bit drab. I think some licensed sets fall into the trap of making a set out of something that’s actually pretty boring as a toy.
Definitely building a graveyard in my lego City now
That's a seriously expensive carriage!
Man they just keep a comin don’t they?
AKA, two more sets to extract money from me. I'm still playing catch up with other sets.
The Carriage looks awesome but also a little too pricy. Still, nice selection of figs in these two sets.
Love them both!
Wow! The first Harry Potter set without Harry since The Durmstrang Ship back in '05! Fitting that it is the Beauxbatons Carriage. I really like Hagrid with the tie. I was disappointed he wasn't in the Yule Ball set, but all is well now. Surprised to see they actually went for the weird KKK variant of Death Eater from the fourth film! This reboot is really dedicated to accuracy...
Now $20 dollars for the graveyard is a steal! 5 minifigs including the statue is tremendous value, especially for a licensed theme.
Aha, a Pegasus for my Hercules!
And I thought the Buckbeack set was dark, the Voldemort rebirth is downright in the PG-13 up category.
The carriage, which seems rather expensive, is an odd choice considering they just did a carriage for crimes of grindewald. They even look to be similar in size, but I’m curious to see the comparison of the two. Graveyard set is ok. Minifig selection is good, price is good, but the build is not very good.
Love the graveyard, not fussed by carriage but my son will want both, oh it’s such a chore trying to please children sometimes
I barely managed to refrain from buying Harry Potter sets in 2018. I'm not so sure that I will be able to repeat this stunt in 2019. :-)
Sets look great. Carriage is too expensive. I like the price on the graveyard and the minifig selection.
Guessing we get one more wave next summer that will cover years 5,6 & 7. Also rumor seems like they will have a UCS Diagon Alley.
The deatheater looks cool, but they gotta be kidding with the new Madam Maxime. She's got a foot on Hagrid at least. And she wears pants. I'd love to see an end to using the wedge as a skirt - it's lazy, and recent minifigs show that a much better design isn't that hard (see Ninjago movie collectable Master Wu for an example of what I mean)
Black frog...

Problem solved! What, too soon?
@TheOriginalSimonB:
I'm thinking dark-bley, which wouldn't be new at all. However, there's a new gold lantern, and there might be other parts in gold, medium-blue, and dark-tan(?) in the carriage set, and the graveyard has a plain black nu-wizard hat (does anyone else find it ironic that wizard hats and so-called "dunce caps" are the same shape?), and comes with not-new-but-still-notable dark-bley apollo studs and reddish-brown triple-bouquets. And possibly some new dark-tan/dark-green parts.
The frog on the grave is bley, just like the one from the set 14 years ago.
Arm proportions are off with Maxime.
Does the graveyard include a baby?
Didn’t want a Cedric from the CMF. Now I sort of do.
Is it bad that the Voldemort set might be the first one I buy for the stickers?
So we're going to have a Mr. B Natural minifigure. Cool.
Such a missed opportunity to do something cool with that cemetery terrain. Just lazy plates Lego. Isn’t it ghastly.
@Darth Dee:
Yes. Surely you remember the Ant Man set that had stickers to turn 2x2 round plates into giant LEGO studs. Then again, I never actually bought that set. I just bought piles of stickers off Bricklink, and a couple of the Ant Man minifig so I could turn them into Deadshot from the Suicide Squad movie...
The Graveyard set isn't necessarily the best use of construction technique but it would've been ridiculous if such an iconic scene was skipped completely, so I'm glad to see it represented in the line, and I do think the value for money is strong. We'll see what else it offers.
The carriage is not my cup of tea but I'm happy for those who will enjoy it!
@Purple Dave
LOL, I was thinking about a permanent marker to replace the eyes with x like they do in the Lego video games, but the skeleton head is a nice touch!
@bbalit:
I've put Aquaman in a sushi roll before, and I used the head from the S6 Pajama Guy. In that instance it worked perfectly because it gives him such a peaceful, cherubic look. I'd probably still stick with the skull for Cedric. And, I gotta be honest, I'd have a smirk on my face every time it offends someone.
Flash back to PotC-days.
I was thinking that the front of the graveyard set was pretty plain and an unexciting build... but for $20 who cares!!!!
The carriage is siiiick!
And the other set, given its price, is a nice part pack (plus some cool minis)
Couldn't care less about the carriage but the graveyard set looks nice! I don't know this specific movie so it might be genuine, but I think the CMF Voldemort was a lot nicer, especially coming with the snake. That's the only complaint, besides that it's a nice set, a lot of value. Reminds me of the Ninjago throne room set lately with all those nice figures for 20€.
@yamaki:
I actually decided I _hate_ the snake after opening a Voldemort CMF. It doesn't look remotely like a LEGO part, the only bit that's really LEGO compatible is the end of the tail where it looks like someone purposefully modified an existing design just to give it a minifig grip, and it feels like the plastic is really cheap. But I do remember people saying Voldemort's green robes finally matched the movie costume. And now we appear to be back to black with hints of green in the deco.
@Purple Dave: While I do think Nagini's lack of connection points is a real bummer, I do prefer her somewhat over the classic "rattlesnake" piece, since I feel like that older design has excessively textured scales, a dull finish, and poorly defined eyes. I would love if LEGO came up with a new snake piece that was some type of middle ground between those.
People upset about set design...I’m strictly buying these for the figures. If it has a decent set with it, then thats bonus.
It's 2019, set design is meaningless in license sets. It's all about the figures.

There's always this guy, though it's very specifically a cobra with that hood, and very specifically in a defensive posture with that pose.
