Amazing!
Oh wow, I can't believe LEGO Hidden Side is popular enough to warrant an exclusive set already!
Not yet available on AU/NZ site
For those of us with VIP accounts, how do we get this item in our carts?
11 bags. Nice.
Wow! I don’t watch the show, but that build is impressive! Very unique and detailed. Hopefully this set alowes LEGO to make more “adult level” themes.
Looks amazing
Can't believe they didn't overprice it with the Netflix license!
What the heck is Stranger Things?
Lego: partners with Netflix to create Stranger Things set
Netflix: So we were thinking maybe a Bird Box set might work...
I find it hard to believe that the whole house balances and is supported by those two trees. Very impressive design!
So... can you set it down? How does it stand? On the upside down trees?
Personally the show I could not give two hoots about, and same can be said for this set though I do like aspects of the set such as the car, and some of the interior features but my favourite thing of this set is the fact is can be turned upside dow and nothing breaks or comes loose and maybe it can be a pathway for some new concepts in other themes.
Though £180 for 2287 parts is fine its simair to the Simpsons house which is my favourite set in terms of price and value.
Though I will pass on this set indefinitely, its unique and will be popular amongst some people.
There is no option on Shop at Home for a VIP exclusive? Just says ‘coming soon on 1 June 2019’ annoying!
This is so cool!!! I love it already and I have wanted a LEGO Stranger Things set for soooo long! This is absolutely phenomenal. Thank you for the news!
This might be one of the coolest set designs ever. YOU CAN FLIP IT AHH
Really awesome and impressive design with the mirrored house and the fact that the entire set balances on those trees. I don’t watch the show but I kind of want this set because it looks so incredible. I’m sure fans are over the moon!
Ah, now I know what I've been saving my VIP points for!
The only thing I could ask for would be more mini-figs but that's OK. I assume it will be available 12:00 EDT? I'll be ready!
This is not available now. It says “coming soon”.
Still not available in the UK! Going to bed now but it better not be sold out when I get up tomorrow morning! :-)
That upside down technique is awesome, I am expecting a lot of those in the MOC community. Did LEGO said the first set in their partnership?
Wheres the Pontiac Trans Am that was in all the promo shots??? ??????
Now give is Upside Down Will and Upside Down Barb as gifts-with-purchase.
I watch the show but I'm not a horror fan, so I don't know that I'll get this. That said, it is a really cool set!!
Now, imagine how many Netflix franchises LEGO can make...
Things I never thought I'd see: official Lego bear trap.
They did a fantastic job capturing the expressions on the kids.
I can't wait for the Nancy and Barbara at the party set!
Finally managed to place order online in the UK! :-)
Never watched the series.
Set looks cool but will probably wait to see what other large sets look like later this year and decide from there. No expert in stuff like this but sure looks like some cool pieces and colours in this set.
Technically I find the set very interesting, but as I have zero connection to the source material I will save my 200 Euro for something else. Perhaps if they make a set that contains the awesome Trans-Am from the trailer...
I've never seen the show, but this looks super cool.
As a VIP member, I couldn't add it to my cart this morning. As soon as that changed, it was instantly backordered, set to ship on June 1st. So much for VIP treatment.
@ppondpost, I'm here in the U.S. and the set is "available now", not on backorder. You should try again. Also, make sure you're signed into your VIP account or it shows June 1st availability.
@ppondpost- Not sure what the problem is. I’m a VIP member in the USA as well and right now it says “available now” and can be purchased immediately.
@Bycougars and @GoldenNinja3000... I ordered it immediately as soon as I saw the backorder button. Now, as you say, there is no backorder button just "Add to Bag"... Maybe I was too early? Oh, well, it's on it's way... eventually.
I loved the first season of the show (and wished it just stopped there), but this just looks like one giant cash-in. Don't get me wrong, the construction is brilliant - I guess it just does nothing for me as a LEGO set. I sense incoming stability problems as well... :-/
It is a awesome set to get I waited for 10 hours at the Lego shop in Leicester Square London

LEGO now has a demogorgon minifig.
I call shenanigans on any claim LEGO makes on not putting out a set because of religion, occult or adult themes. And I fully expect them to partner up with Hasbro for a D&D 5e line.
Because, when you've minifigure'd the prince of all demons, you have officially crossed the line.
Great set for an equally great series! I would like to see some more love on the trees though
@hewhocaves: It's pretty clear in the series the "demogorgon" is some sort of alien life form from the "Upside-Down" rather than the literal demon from hell that it gets its name from. The kid protagonists merely call it a "demogorgon" since Will uses the monster figurine from their Dungeons and Dragons campaign to represent it symbolically. Stranger Things actually has remarkably little religious imagery or content for a horror series, with its monsters generally given sci-fi explanations rather than supernatural or religious ones.
Also, Lego partnering with Hasbro, one of their biggest competitors, is more or less a pipe dream. Making a fig of a monster that's conceptually linked to Dungeons and Dragons doesn't erase the antagonistic relationship between the two companies. It's no surprise that this set features an untitled rulebook rather than actually referencing Dungeons and Dragons explicitly—there's no way Lego would be able to get that licensing, at least not with the present relationship between Lego and Hasbro being what it is.
Was a definite and easy day 1 purchase for me. Family have loved watching the programme together so this build will be a family build this upcoming weekend...
Love the set. Love the faux-80's commercial for it. Only thing that keeps it from being perfect is Steve Harrington saving everybody's a** (and of course, Bob Newby). Hoping he shows up in a future set.
Ordered, on it's way. Looking forward to build it with my daughter, we both loved the show (esp. the first season).
Now that Lego partners with Neflix (or I wish), please bring us BoJack Horseman set, Final Space set, Dragon Prince sets (with minidolls to match The Elves theme), A Series of Unfortunate Events set and The Punisher set.
€40 more expensive than Germany despite sharing "apparently" the same currency. Do one Lego!
In the 80's style commercial Lego posted on their site (in the gallery here https://shop.lego.com/en-US/product/The-Upside-Down-75810 ) they used the LEGO logo appropriate to the time period. I'm impressed!
Wow, those trees and those dark blue 6x5 leaves are great!
Do Black Mirror next!
This is just awesome.
Don't like the show, don't like this set. So it is a no for me,
I'm shocked how some people don't know what Stranger Things is. Did you live under a rock for the past 3 years?
@ManThighs seriously, I just started watching it, but I knew what it was when it first came out!
Some of us just aren't that into television any more, @ManThighs and @Supertaco77! Still looks like a fascinating set, though...and I *do* know what D & D is, so the demogorgon minifig and rule book certainly have an appeal!
