Thank you, LEGO!
This is how it should be done.
So cool! I’ve already voted, really hoping for the republic gunship!
wow! probably my hardest decision of the year so far..... LOL
Cool move, all three would make good picks.
Remember to write down what figure you want, too! I chose the LAAT, with the figure either being:
A phase II Cody, with dual-moulded orange/white arms and the correct orange visor (either built into the helmet mold, or using a new generic Phase II helmet mould with attachment holes on the side like the Phase I helmets).
Or a Phase I Clone Pilot, with the correct 'finless' helmet, as LEGO always uses the normal Phase I helmet with the fin. Dual-moulded white/yellow arms would be great, with yellow prints on the white shoulders.
Darn it LEGO, stop being so stingy with dual-moulding and arm printing already!
I picked the TIE Bomber. I think it'll look the best on display. I would love a Nebulon B, but I think some compromises would need to be made to have it look good and be stable.
I'd love to get another TIE Bomber (it's been 17 years...) but I'd much rather a system-scale one. UCS sets of single-seat fighters/bombers don't gel well with me, simply because they're larger than minifig scale and don't display well with system-scale sets.
A gunship could be minifig scale, although I believe the system-scale sets are pretty close as-is.
This is the biggest insult to SW fans, we finally get mention of a new Tie Bomber and a new for LEGO SW the Nebulon B Frigate and it's not in a regular set format but in UCS. The only one that makes sense is therefore the LAAT/I Republic Gunship.
Edit: I will be cool if we got the Nebulon B Frigate in the same vein as the 2019 Tantive IV.
Can't believe they did this, I'M SO EXITED!
I'm going for the EF76 Nebulon-B Escort Frigate, because the chance we'll otherwise ever see it as a set would be incredibly small. I think there will soon be a new Republic Gunship with the upcoming final season of The Clone Wars. And for the TIE Bomber, I think the odds there will eventually be an UCS or a minifigure-scale version is a lot higher than for the Nebulon-B. Besides, the Nebulon-B will include more interesting (and just more) characters than the TIE Bomber.
I voted for the Nebulon B, such a cool ship. And there is only one minifigure we need: Nien Nunb!
Wow! I really hope Lego follow this format in future - it's great to get a say on upcoming sets!
For this vote it's the Gunship all the way for me, but honestly any of the options would make good sets.
All three are very exciting, but I chose the TIE Bomber - minifigure Admiral Motti. That way we can complete the Imperial Starfighter fleet.
Nebulon B for me. Always loved that ship design. Would make an amazing display model.
TIE Bomber is better suited for a minifig scale set. And we really don’t need any Prequel stuff ever again...

Ah yes, let's cut out a huge swathe of our market just because one commenter said so
Gotta go with the nebulon b. I wonder what @CapnRex101 chose...
Wouldnt mind any of them to be fair.
The TIE Bomber will probably win out just because it's easier to scale to UCS size and TIE's are always a fan farourite.
I'd personally like to see the Republic Gunship, it would have to be something special though as 75021 was a fairly good rendition of the ship considering it's size and playability.
The Nebulon B would be amazing as a set but I feel that it wouldn't ever live up to expectations at a reasonable price point, escpecially after seeing Mortesv's build or even Dranac's smaller version.
I voted for the EF76 Nebulon-B Escort Frigate because I love the source material and believe the vessel could only be accurately represented by an Ultimate Collector Series model, given its unusual shape. I suggested Nien Nunb as the accompanying minifigure.
The other options could certainly prove interesting but I think interaction with minifigures is vital to a successful rendition of the Republic Gunship, in which case retail sets are adequate. However, the LAAT/i is among my favourite vehicles from throughout the Star Wars saga so I would be delighted to see it in UCS form.
With regard to the TIE Bomber, I think a minifigure-scale model would be more appropriate here as well. I would certainly like to see an Ultimate Collector Series rendition in the future but would not prioritise this over the alternatives.
Having said that, I expect all of these will be released within the next five years or so. LEGO evidently anticipates there may be sufficient interest in each model and I absolutely agree!
Lego, thanks for asking.
I voted for TIE Bomber, as that is the only one I would buy.
This is awesome!
Tough choice, but I chose the gunship, as I don't think that's been in UCS form before, yet it's quite iconic. Sure, the Tie Bomber is the most iconic, but we've had plenty of TIEs before, even if not necessarily the Bomber. The Nebulon would make for a very interesting build, but I feel the Gunship should be made first.
The minifigure question was nice! I suggested Yoda (you can never have enough) or Mace Windu.
I think this is a fabulous idea to gauge and engage interest. I hope LEGO keeps doing things like this! I wonder if they'd ever consider showing prototype designs to help us choose? Surely they already have some ideas.
I voted for the frigate, because I don't think you could do it well in a smaller set and it's a ship I'd love to add to my collection. The TIE Bomber isn't far behind, but I think they could easily release that as a minifigure scale set in the $50-$80 range. I don't have much interest in the Republic Gunship because I don't have much personal affinity for the prequels (to each their own, of course).
There should be an “all of the above” option.
Wonder if they have the designs ready for release this year or if they will start designing after the results.
Either way, nice move by Lego
Love this idea. Give some power to the people buying all this stuff. So my selection is "D" - UCS AT-AT...but I'll take a Gunship as well.
I know it will never happen, but I suggested putting Boss, Scorch, Fixer and Sev as minifigs for the LAAT.
Should I vote for the one I want the most or the one I don't want (to save money)?
LAAT Gunship with Captain Rex with a non Clone Wars tv show design (why LEGO why)
This is how we can finally get a Nebulon-B. Thank you LEGO!
As it has been mentioned above a couple of times - I'd rather see TIE Bomber as a regular playset than an UCS rendition. Reason being, there's been only one (playset) in the whole LEGO history. Another one we're still waiting for is a classic color scheme TIE Interceptor. Which probably won't happen anytime soon.
As for Republic Gunship - some of you might be delighted to see it as an UCS model, but I myself don't feel the need to. The playsets are great and, being a minifig scale, provide both a great set to play with as well as a nice model to display.
Voted for Republic Gunship and Commander Cody.
I really want a LAAT, but as regular set. As UCS it would be too big and expensive. But Nebulon-B sounds great!
Nebulon-B all the way!!
If they can figure out the stability issues of this design, I think it will be a really cool display piece.
As pack-in minifigure, I selected Volk Aymeric. This may be a rather obscure (canon) character, but he was a Nebulon-B captain. Better still, as a member of the Ishi Tib species, it would require a new sculpt!
Gunship! Gunship! Guuuunshiiiip!
Easy choice for me.
AT-AT or AT-ST please
There is only one correct answer - Gunship with 501st troopers!
I can't believe even something like this has attracted negativity.
I think it's great to see Lego doing this, and they're all amazing choices. I thought I was going to vote for the Gunship, but @CapnRex101 actually persuaded me to go for the Nebulon B instead. Hopefully with a mini Millennium Falcon and Lando Calrissian inexplicably wearing Han's clothes!
Republic Gunship all day long. Such an iconic vehicle that played a central in the Clone Wars and has been seen in films, TV shows and Comics.
It would look great in UCS scale as a display model but with several options to select from throughout the series, could get some interesting figures.
I would guess the most likely versions would either be EP2 or EP3, in which case a Battle of Geonsis version (Yoda, Clone Troopers, Clone Pilot) or Arrest of Palpatine version (Mace Windu, Kit Fisto, Agen Kolar, Saesee Tiin, clone pilot).
A bit of a long shot but a Animated show version with the ARC trooper squad and pilot would look amazing.
The other ships would look great, but we have had so many Tie's of various types and scales over the years and the Nebulon B is really quite an edge case ship with nominal screen time compaired to the gunship that i feel it may not have as broad appeal.
Either way, nice to be asked.
This shouldn’t even be a question for Lego Star Wars fans....Nebulon-B all the way!
This is literally the only chance we’ll ever see this ship made. Let that sink in.
I agree with others, the other two are great ships, but are better represented at minifigure scale.
This is amazing! All three are vehicles the fans have been asking for.
I voted for the Republic Gunship. The prequels have gotten very few UCS sets compared to the original trilogy. We've had plenty of UCS TIEs, and I think people would prefer a system-scale TIE Bomber before UCS. The Nebulon-B Frigate would be cool, but I'd definitely prefer the Gunship.
Eh, Gunship is the only good ship. Hate most TIE fighter's designs, and I dislike the Bomber in particular. Never liked OT designs to be honest, and the Nebulon-B is decent, I guess.
OT gets too many UCS, especially given the resurgence of the Prequels in popularity and TCW airing its final season in a month.
The comments are hilarious on the blog post on Lego Ideas. Half the comments are "Nebulon!" and the other half are "Republic Gunship!". The only love for the Tie bomber is like 3 comments desperately hoping for victory.
It is cool that Lego Ideas is doing this though. I'd love to see all three but I would love to see a UCS Republic Gunship. It has always been my favorite vehicle and set. My main hope is if the Republic Gunship wins, then they must include Jedi Bob as a figure.
Gunship. Although I like the frigate it will be a big pile of grey bricks and we’ve just had one in the shape of an ISD. Any TIE is too soon, we’ve had a UCS TIE and lots of system scale TIES recently. Gunship is a fantastic looking vehicle and will at least have some ‘colour’.
Nebulon B. Went with Luke & Leia from the end scene of ESB.
While I do love the different TIE designs and I desperately want a bomber, I agree a system-scale would work better, so I voted for the Nebulon-B. I only hope it will not be in the MF/SD-price range, otherwise I will never be able to get it...
So let's just hope they release all of them eventually!
Nebulon B Escort Frigate without a doubt.
I think Lego should branch out from Star Wars in UCS and use another property. I’d love a UCS Quinjet. Or, UCS Voltron. :-)
No contest - Nebulon B for me.
We've had the others before, albeit not UCS, but never the Nebulon B.
Sadly there's no A-Wing on the list.
Really like the idea of letting the fans vote. My vote is for Nebulon B because it's a ship we haven't seen before. Republic Gunship would be cool if they make Taun We and Lama Su minifigures.
Really wish Petranaki Arena or Jedi Temple were on this list, those would be my first two choices. Also would like to see a trade federation battleship core.
LAAT/i Republic Gunship got my vote . . . hopefully with Ashoka and Commander Cody.
Although, I would be happy with a non UCS Gunship instead (it has been a long time since they produced one and they are way to expensive in the secondary market) - and in that case I'd choose the Frigate.
A Nebulon-B Frigate would be cool, and could come with some neat variants of Luke and Leia from the end of Empire Strikes Back. I think the TIE Bomber would be better suited for a system scale set.
This aside, I think LEGO should make a Lars Homestead set sometime in the near future. Weird that such an iconic location has never been represented in LEGO.
I voted for the Nebulon B and picked Captain Volk Aymeric as the minifig. I would like to see something new and not a rehash. Hopefully they can do it justice with a high part count.
Friggin' Escort Frigate! As others have stated, including our amazing Capn', it would only look appropriate as a UCS set, and in microscale. As much as I love and prefer Minifigure compatible sets, to make it so would require more pieces than I or most could afford. It's also an iconic vessel long yearning to be captured in LEGO form.
The LAAT/i has been done and done well in Minifigure form (3x now), and could eventually be released again as an excellent 120.00 - 140.00 range set (for those who missed 75021 in 2013 - has it been 7 years?!).
The TIE Bomber is even more overdue for an update, as it's been since 2003 - set 4479 that we got our only Minifigure scale (very rectangular and oddly colored) version. I'd love to see a new 60.00-70.00 range (lol probably 90.00 and worth 50.00 - given current SW pricing trends) TIE Bomber set. After at least one new rendition in Minifigure scale, then perhaps a UCS version would be appropriate.
Other UCS sets I'd still love to see would be a Yavin IV base, Mon Calamari Star Cruiser, or the Outrider (w/Dash Rendar and LE-BO2D9/Leebo - which I know isn't canon so I'm never gunna see it, but here's to "LEGO, you're my only hope").
Comments for the ISS set: "Why another space set?" "Boring"
Comments for anything related to Stars Wars: "OMG!" "I Need it!" "Must buy!"
In fact, there are much more positive comments for the ISS than negative, but... You get the idea.
None of the above. Can we have something not Star Wars for UCS? I get that it's a commercial decision mostly but... meh.
I want the Gunship and the Nebulon Frigate. I can't choose!
Tie bomber
I have spoken
Little disappointed that an a-wing wasn’t an option
I choose Nebulon B.
I would LOVE a Minifigure-scale TIE Bomber, but not UCS. The Frigate doesn't carry much appeal for me, but it would be a cool set. However, the Gunship is one of my favorite Star Wars vehicles, so that's what I voted for.
LAAT/i Republic Gunship
I'm totally in the camp that wished the A-Wing was on there as well.
Still, It's neat that LEGO is giving us a choice.
As much as I'd love a TIE/sa I would much rather have a Minifig-scale version again first.
In that same vein, the Larty would be a nice model, but there already multiple great Minifig-scale versions of it.
The Nebulon-B seems like an easy pick, but I was unimpressed with the newer Tantive IV and I'm pretty happy with my evil 3rd party version.
So...have to think on this for a while
Frigate all the way. What a cool build it would be.
In other news, what do we have to do to get a UCS AT-AT!?
I voted for the LAAT/I (I'm probably going to get a lot of flak for that but it's fine). I chose this because I feel that the TIE would translate better into minifig scale rather than UCS, and the Nebulon-B frigate I feel would be extraordinarily difficult to build in such a way that it was structurally stable (if it had a stand, it would undoubtedly have to attach to the middle section, where it is the weakest), and doing so would compromise appearance to an unacceptable degree.
For the minifig I suggested a Clone Pilot with an accurate helmet mold and accurate torso and leg printing.
Gunship just to get an updated Jedi Bob! He must be given to this generation.
Good for interaction of fans, but I think it’s good market research so they can set a high price point based on votes cast. So the price will be out of reach for most.
@StarNinja said:
"Gunship just to get an updated Jedi Bob! He must be given to this generation."
Haha, Jedi Bob! That's a great idea. I wish I had suggested that with my vote.
I voted for the Nebulon-B. I think the only way it's doable is in UCS scale, since the neck section will need to be a minimum thickness to be stable and that will scale up the rest of the ship accordingly. I think the Gunship and TIE Bomber would be great minifigure-scale sets that could easily work as UCS, but the Nebulon-B doesn't check both boxes for reasons mentioned above.
I seconded the Nien Numb minifigure, and also think a Luke and Leia from the final shot of Empire would work, or Admiral Ackbar or Raddus, since the -B is in both Jedi and Rogue One, which has become my favorite SW film.
The Nebulon-B. Sure the Tie Bomber hasn't been done before, but the Tie Fighter has (I think), and it's not all that different. Plus the gunship looks similar to that dropship thing they've done a few of.
Basically, the Nebulon-B is the only one that they've not done anything like it before, and while the others could be done at minifig scale, the Nebulon-B couldn't, so it should be that one!
Has to be the Nebulon-B. Something that we haven't seen before, and people have been clamoring for it for forever.
I suggested Jan Dodonna as the figure, since he's heavily related to the ship from the Clone Wars on. Volk Aymeric would probably also be a good unique figure choice.

We love Space but regarding the IDEAS platform we agree that Space needs it's pwn dedicated subtheme.
I voted for Nebulon B Escort Frigate as we've never had a set of that before, not even a microscale model. Plus since I prefer minifigure scale it's a big capital ship rather than a larger-than-minifigure-size model. I don't like paying expensive prices for things that are too big. I didn't know which minifigure to suggest, as no characters strongly associate with the Nebulon B. So, since it's a Rebel ship, I chose...
REBEL FRIEND!
Too easy for me, I have zero attachment or love for anything from the original trilogy as I didn’t grow up with nor did it interest me. However, the almighty LAAT Gunship, OH YEAH!!! I casted my vote so fast lol. I’m hoping for a proper Clone Pilot without the fin. Clone Wars is my jam.
Nebulon B.
Never been done.
Nuff said.

I agree with you on the Frigate and for the same reason, good opportunity to finally release Nien Nunb.
Voted for the med frigate, I think it could be a super detailed set...little Millennium Falcon, maybe a few support ships...not sure which Minifigs, I suggested maybe half dozen or so of the rebellion top leadership: Mothma, Ackbar, Dodonna, etc...this was fun! I hope Lego continues to find new ways to encourage fan input like this.
Republic Gunship without any hesitation. This ship is so beautiful in the movie and series, it's so good as a minifig scale set, it would for sure be a fantastic one as an UCS.
Republic Gunship easily. Nebulon would be a nice display piece but ultimately not very interactive.
I’m going with the gunship. If they put it as an option for this vote it means they probably are not planning on releasing a system scale one anytime soon for the new clone wars season
I'm all for the TIE Bomber as it's the only one I would buy. Already built the Nebulon B set for a friend who couldn't resist the temptation of buying it but then lost interest during the build. Don't care which minifigs they include tbh as I am not a minifig guy.
Picked the EF76 Nebulon-B Escort Frigate.
Detail mainly. The TIE Bomber has been done in the past as smaller models and doesn't appeal to me.
The Republican gunship would be nice, but it's a bit bulky & would be heavy.
I'd rather this Nebulon ship.
Would love to see this approach to the next Mega UCS after The Falcon and Devastator.
Gunship baby! Don’t really care to have a UCS bomber, and am I the only one who thinks the Nebulon is just kind of...ugly?
Very cool of LEGO to do this. Since there's no ARC-170 in the poll I voted enthusiastically for the LAAT. Though I wouldn't begrudge the Escort Frigate getting selected since it has yet to make it to set form.
You can buy my vote for a cold Coca Cola ;)
Definitely the Nebulon B for me. Its the most reasonable and most displayable UCS set to have. Sure the Gunship and the bomber are great ships as well, but they are only really good if they are minifig scale. Like what's the point of an oversized ship that you can't fit figures to when you could have a minifig-scale one that would probably be just if not more detailed than a UCS version. Besides, I already have a minifig scale Gunship and bomber that will be more detailed and better than what LEGO could put out (UCS or not). Anyhow, if the Nebulon B wins I might buy a UCS set ever since the UCS Slave 1.
I’m torn. I’ve always wanted Lego to make a Nebulon-B, but there are so few prequel era UCS sets that I feel like I should vote for the LAAT just to let Lego know that there is interest in further UCS sets from that era.
What a wonderful opportunity! LEGO should do this more often.
I chose the Nebulon B Frigate. ESB edition would be great with Luke, Leia, R2-D2, C3PO and a medical droid. It is the perfect opportunity for LEGO to make a completely new set, that would open the opportunity to develop more rebel/resistance craft that we haven’t seen in LEGO form yet.
I love the idea of a UCS republic LAAT/i Gunship but I can’t miss the opportunity to finally get a Nebulon-B (All the greebling!!)
I personally believe a play set scale version of the tie bomber would make a great set for the future, before a UCS model is made especially since we have not had one since 2003. I’d like a more sturdy bomber.
I will be happy with any outcome mind, so I look forward to see the results!
Medical Frigate with Medical Frigate Luke, but I'm really hoping for Nien Nunb now that he's been mentioned. The TIE and Gunship are, I feel, better at system scale, though I would be more than happy with a UCS Gunship too.
Had to vote for the Gunship. And naturally a Cody figure to go along with it.
It seems most people are voting for either the Gunship or Nebulon-B, which I hope LEGO doesn't take as a lack of interest in the TIE Bomber altogether. We still want a system-scale version!
I find it amusing that whenever Lego releases a UCS set the comments sections are swamped with people complaining about the lack of minifigs or which minifigs are included etc. But here when we actually have an input to what we want hardly anyone is making suggestions.
If we come together this is our chance to get unusual characters made like Tion Medon with the LAAT and not just a generic Tie pilot with the Tie bomber.
LAAT Gunship for me, my favourite vehicle from all the 9 movies. mini-figs of the Gunship pilots, (X2), a new Jedi "Bob" & a new squad of ARC troopers from the first Clone wars cartoon
The Nebulon-B could be good but I really want a UCS Tie Bomber with a minifig of Galen Marek/Starkiller just coz he is one of my favorite star wars characters
LAAT is the best option here, especially if you include figures in your decision. If it's not the gunship, I will physically cry.
Nebulon-B FTW!!! With Luke, Leia, C3PO and R2D2 + Sticker of the Galaxy outside the viewport. Should fit into the big space (to be opened from the side on hinges) at the front of the frigate.
Nebulon B for me! I really hope this ship gets it. It is such an iconic vessel which could only get its justice in UCS form and also because it never had been done before. The other ships look me more appealing in minifig scale.
Knee jerk I would have said the Gunship, but after browsing the comments and doing a bit more objective thinking, it’s the EF76 Nebulon-B Escort Frigate for me. I think of the 3 it just sits best as a UCS model and anything smaller than UCS just couldn't do it justice, the other 2 already stand up pretty well at minifig scale, though an update of the TIE bomber is way overdue.
Shoot. I would both love & hate to see the LAAT/i. Love because of course I would want a UCS scale set of that set. Hate because it would likely be out of my price range.
Frigate is easily the best for a UCS set considering it's size and never appear in a Lego set before. The other two are already good in system scales, especially the gunship. Would be interesting to see how a USC gunship would look like and how much bigger it is compared to the system one since the system one is already close to minifig scale.
Afraid I had to go with the laat , I have one of the older models and it’s my favourite of all my Lego. Based on the arena rescue as there’s no chance of Muunilist 10 version.
Republic gunship.
I voted for the Gunship because of Jedi Bob and we can hopefully get Galactica Marines
For all those saying they are disappointed that the A-Wing, AT-AT, or Venator aren't options to vote for; I would imagine the set that wins this vote is at least a few years away. Hopefully, those sets not being on the list means we are getting them soon!
EDIT: I'm currently watching Clone Wars for the first time, so my vote was the Gunship
@9v_brickmaster said:
"I voted for the Gunship because of Jedi Bob and we can hopefully get Galactica Marines "
I agree with the last bit but, Jedi Bob?
I also voted for the Republic gunship, and said the minifigure I would like to see is "Jedi bob" because he is the best Jedi of all time.
Would love them to keep it with OT models until ALL have been made (looking at you A-wing)
I vote for the frigate. I think UCS scale suits it better than the other options. I wish a UCS AT-AT was an option, but at least we get some say. Based on YouTube and TFOL comments it looks like a lot of younger fans are pulling for the gunship. I’m not sure it would look good in UCS scale. I think it’d be a good option to rerelease as a play set though.
Has to be EF76 Nebulon-B Escort Frigate given it's best suited to the UCS format and has never been done before as an official LEGO set. I also expect it will be in the high price range ($500) considering it would need to be fairly large and higher piece count to do it justice.
UCS ships are best when done as display pieces, so inclusion of minifigs is nice but not necessary imo.
I would rather vote on Pirates' ships or Castle castles which I would most probably actually buy. All these SW UCS sets could be nice and elaborate but not appealing enough to actually purchase.
It is very nice though that LEGO asks our opinion, but this is probably a one-off thing, that doesn't interfere with regular decision-making processes.
PS voted for the frigate for all the obvious and less obvious reasons.
Gunship all the way. The prequels aren't represented in UCS form much, and I think a lot of people who grew up with them would like to see that change. I grew up watching them and the clone wars, and am just now able to afford UCS sets, so I think now is the time.
This is the way Lego, This is the way. (The Mandalorian)
Difficult, but I really want to see the Nebulon B Frigate. Not sure how the Gunship or Tie Bomber would be big hits as UCS sets.
The lack of an A-Wing really stinks though :(.
@SolidState said:

I don't think many people are playing with their UCS sets. Most that can afford UCS sets are probably adult collectors. Plus the size of them doesn't make them easy to "fly" around. UCS is typically a display piece, unless its one of the jumbo play sets they've made.
I think the problem is the sets being proposed don't have much option for some of the missing characters. I would love to see Boss Nass, Zam Wesell, Taun We, Lama Su, Wat Tambor, Tion Medon, or Mas Amedda. However, the only ones those would fit with would maybe be the kaminoans or Wat Tambor with the Republic Gunship.
LAAT all the way. I asked for at least 2 pilots, and at least 4 troopers. I also asked for The Clone Wars figures, like Fives, Jesse, Kix, Tup, etc. which would be AWESOME!
My heart lies in the Clone Wars Era. I would love to see an Arc Trooper Fives minifigure, given that he's a fan favorite and has never seen minifigure form. I also think it would be very cool to see some accessories for the Umbara arc from TCW. I'm thinking a small AT-RT build and some floodlights to switch with the ball turrets. And some other 501st clones, my ideal lineup would be Fives, Rex, Hardcase, Jesse, Kix, a pair of clone pilots, and Anakin Skywalker, plus however many 501st grunts Lego wants, the more the better in my opinion.
Saw Gerrera minfig and the Gunship
I voted for the Nebulon because I think capital ships are better suited to UCS. I'd rather get the TIE Bomber and gunship in minifig scale. However, the gunship undoubtedly has the greatest capacity for good figs. Could do any of the ones from the battle of Geonosis, Clone Wars Episodes or Battle of Utapau.
Republic Gunship for me!
Somehow I imagined UCS gunship would still be minifig scale like the Slave One or Imperial Shuttle. If it isn’t, and wins the vote (meaning we aren’t getting a system scale ship in the near future) I’m going to cry. I don’t want an oversized version!
LAAT
If I were a Star Wars Fan I'd probably vote the Nebulon Frigate, as those other ships are already pretty small in comparison.
Frigate being 300 meters long, and 166 meters high , (Tantive IV is 150 meter) would be much better suited for a highly detailed display model.
Tie Bomber is under 10 meters.
Gunship is around 17 meters.
What I'm saying is that the smaller ships could still be made into non-UCS sets.
(the last Tantive IV set wasn't labeled UCS and still a 1750+ piece set, which is much higher then some UCS TIE and X-wings of the past.)
I’m voting for the LAAT not only because I really like the ship, but because I’m hoping it will usher in a new age of Prequel and Clone Wars UCS sets.
I really hope that they finally make a new TIE Bomber LEGO set because we have not had a TIE Bomber set since 2003
Voted model : Republic Gunship; Great for display and role play
Voted minifig: Jundal Quellus (Chagrian Jedi); Never been made into minifig form
Now let's hope that the Voting is not rigged like the Senate in the Impeachment trial. :/
Voted for the republic gunship!
Gun ship all the way bois!
Pretty poor choices if you ask me. This is probably a couple of years away anyway, I’d have thought they’d already have UCS sets sorted for next two years already (wonder what this years are to be?).
Like many I’m wondering where the AT AT got to. In iconic terms it’s right up there. There’s probably a technical reason why they’ve not done it yet. A mini fig scale version for £650 would sell like hotcakes.
They may already have all of these designed and are using this to judge the popularity. I would be surprised if any of these aren't released in thr next few years.
EF76 Nebulon-B Escort Frigate all the way!
Along with the mini-millennium falcon, I hope they put in mini X-Wing Fighter escorts.
Figs should be Leia (w/hair up and white gown), Luke (in that tan medical smock), Medical Droid, C-3PO, R2 'natch, Chewy and Lando in Han style vest/shirt attire.
It will be the gunship but i want the tie bomber.... :/
We need a UCS MTT! None of these options really appealed to me. The 2013 Republic Gunship was basically at minifigure scale, so anything larger, would be going a bit too large. And as much as I do love the other ships, they don't make a big enough of an appearance to be a UCS. Also, we're still waiting for the re-edition of Jango Fett's Slave One.
Republic Gunship would be great. Personally I'm hoping for a new Commander Cody minifig (preferably phase II)
Voted for the Nebulon B. A UCS LAAT would be awesome, but we’ve already had 3 large renditions of the ship in Lego history (plus a few mini-models). We haven’t had a single Nebulon B at any scale, and it deserves a chance at being a set.
I’d love to see a UCS AT-AT walker. Screaming out for a large, detailed version. Imagine one scales to the UCS snowspeeder, that would be insane and way to big for a LEGO set, but cool nonetheless.
Add me to the "Where's the A-Wing??" list. I've got all the UCS I need (and a couple I don't) until they make an A-Wing to finish my alphabet fighter collection. Come on, Lego, don't leave us OCD's in the lurch!
I will say, though, that non-OT isn't unprecedented. We got the Jedi Starfighter from Ep II and although smaller than the usual scale, we also got the Naboo fighter. Honestly I don't think I'd buy any of them, but if I had to vote, I'd go with the Gunship or the TIE. The frigate would suffer the same problems the recent ISD suffered: a huge pile of grey pieces. The TIE has the advantage that it probably comes with enough parts to make decent renditions of other TIE models. In fact, a Universal TIE fighter set would be awesome--that's one I would buy.
I voted for Nebula-B, but I'm anticipating that the Republic Gunship will win just because the TIE and Nebula-B will split the vote for OT fans (and for prequel haters).
Just thought about why not a UCS AT-AT? 40 anniversary of Empire and all.
I'm guessing at such a large size, the legs/stability would be an issue?
Voted for the Tie-Bomber. If I'm not mistaken, they have only made ONE of these in the 20 years of Star Wars Lego (I'm not including the micro-scale). I think that is ridiculous, given it has been in several films (i.e. Empire, Rogue One, as a Hologram in The Last Jedi). Its an iconic ship in the aerial collection of Star Wars ships. I'll never forget the first time I saw it in Empire when I was a child, with my friends. We were, "Whoa! A tie fighter with two sections? A bomber??" That's my pick. If it doesn't make the cut, please make a minifig version for about $100.00. In the meantime, I have purchased the instructions and pieces to build the Brickvault tie bomber. It looks great!
Great for them to do a survey like this! It was a difficult choice but went for the Republic Gunship, just love the ship and I also think it would maybe be the most colourful of all. Look forward to see what thye come up wiht.
Although I’ve personally no interest in Star Wars UCS, this is a great idea to put it up for public vote for fans. Imagine the future possibilities! Which of these modulars would you like us to remake? Which classic theme would you like us to bring back?
EF76 Nebulon-B Escort Frigate, then you can have a Luke in a Bacta Tank mini-build to go with it.
I want to see them do a Nebulon B frigate!
Gunship here, I think the frigate will just be a big empty shell like the Star Destroyer although it's would be a really awesome UCS!
Frigate with "Rebel Friend"
I'd buy any of these, if the price is not as insane as all the recent big sets...
This is amazing and I want them all. However, I voted for the nebula-B, but would honestly be happy with any of them (and an AT-AT).
Nebulon-B Frigate and Willrow Hood minifig.
Going to vote Nebulon-B, but undecided about minifigs. To do the Luke & Leia thing from ESB would be OK, but please no more R2 and C3’s - I’m sick to death of those 2 droids.
I’m going to do some more research but it would be fun to see a selection of rebel bridge officers from the Neb included - I’m not familiar with their names, or even if they had screen time? Maybe we could have a selection of leaders from all the ships in the fleet?
I've voted Gunship, because it could be displayable AND playable at the right scale, and it could include Ashoka, Rex, Anakin, and the 501st.
There has been way too many Tie fighters at this point.
I would love the Nebulon-B with a minifig of Lando wearing Han’s clothes like he does at the end of ESB. Hopefully includes a mini Millennium Falcon that can attach to the hull.

"Nebulon-B Frigate and Willrow Hood minifig."
Exactly what I voted for.
He must have escaped with the top secret ice cream and made it to the Nebulon.
Gunship. Easily
Gunship. Hands down. Hopefully this will start a trend of prequel era ships!!!!!!!!
The Nebulon-B is an iconic ship from the original trilogy that has never been released by LEGO before. The TIE bomber is a classic ship from ESB, arguably the best Star Wars movie ever made. And people are lining up to vote for ... the Republic gunship.
Gunship. by far the best.
I voted for the Nebulon-B and, like @Fizyx, chose General Jan Dodonna.
I also would look forward to (new) minifigure-compatible versions of the Tie Bomber and Republic Gunship.
A Republic Gunship, of course! No question about it. The Nebulon Frigate is beautiful and all, but also very fragile. And the Tie Bomber would be a fine System set. The Gunship on the other hand, which in "reality" is about 30 meters long, would be - correct minifig size - about 72 cm long. That's only 10 cm shorter than the 75192 Falcon! So, what's there not to like?
So I did a little count. By 23:12 MEP it was 67 for the Gunship and 62 for the Frigate. Pretty darn close!
(I think the Bomber is clearly at third place. So I didn't count those. But this might be wrong...)
I voted for the Nebulon B, fairly easy choice as it is my second favourite ship from the original trilogy and I have feeling that a UCS set is the only way we'll ever see it in Lego form.
Nebulon-B baby. Captain Rex said it right. This is probably the only way that we will get a Nebulon-B set. 2nd for me was the LAAT, followed by the TIE bomber. They were all good choices and I'm glad LEGO is giving us fans a chance to contribute to the process.
Republic Gunship.
I'm a suit and Tie man myself :)
Definitely Gunship for me, it's my second favourite Star Wars ship behind the A-wing. That said the nebulon B is way overdue, I hope we get a system scale one soon, as well as a TIE bomber remake.
Voted for the Republic Gunship.
It would be a great UCS set if done right.
Voted for the Tie bomber. But my goodness, the messaging on completion - you've completed an activity. An activity!
At the time of this comment, indicated by the comments on this post, there are:
59 votes for the Nebulon B (including myself)
61 votes for the Gunship
11 votes for the Bomber
Just a 2 vote difference between the first two!
If it is a 2 horse race between the Neb and Gunship, fans of either shouldn’t be too disheartened if their favourite doesn’t win this time. Surely it sends a message that both are popular and will sell. So with 2 UCS slots per year, you could well see both sets in consecutive years, if not the same one. I assume the former will apply, with other UCS sets already in the pipeline taking the first slot in a given year.
Voted for the TIE Bomber.
It's by far the best design for a 200€ UCS set.
The Nebulon would need to be microfigure scale and would still need to be massive and the Republic Gunship is one of the most boring Republic ships (a Venator I'd go for...).
Not sure what LEGO will go for, but I'm not buying neither the Nebulon nor the Gunship if they come at over 200€. They are sets that don't interest me. At 200€ I might buy them for the sake of collection but above that? Out of the question.
I voted for the Gunship for the sole fact that it could open the door for future UCS vehicles from the PT. I'd honestly prefer an ARC-170 or a Venator, but the Gunship would do. It'd be the first UCS set I'd buy as I'm more of a Clone Wars era fan.
That said, I'd like to see the Nebulon B eventually, to go alongside my Tantive IV and possibly open the door for a MC-80 and GR75.
Also, as a minfig collector, the Gunship could give us an accurate clone pilot (aka one without a fin), plus a new Jedi or two (I've seen some love for old Jedi Bob). The Nebulon B might give us a new rebel or two, but most likely will be the usual Luke, Leia, 2-1B, R2-D2 and C-3PO.
With the return of the clone wars series for a final season the timing would be great for the gunship.
I'm however more excited for a Nebulon-B. For lego star wars to have passed 20yrs and have not produced a single version of the ship just isn't right.
I voted for th TIE Bomber because that's the one I like most; Gunship would be nice at detailed minifigure scale, with lots of figures obviously; Nebulon B is uninteresting as another heap of grey pieces and a quite stupid ship due to its fragile design (though I'd buy it if it had Smuggler Lando with it).
Gunship
I voted for the Republic Gunship, but I do think that the TIE bomber would be pretty good. The nebulon B escort frigate would be very interesting in the way they build the front, but I didn't vote for it because it isn't very well known and looks off putting.
