These figures would look great on my city layout!
Looks like one of the best series recently!
Not going to lie, though not a stand out series this is a solid series, the variety of new elements such as the Tutorise, Stuffed Bunny, Pea Pod etc and new colours for existing parts like the Green brick guys brick outfit part which imo is incredible and definitely stocking up on that figure just for his torso piece
But the stand out figure is that amazing drone operator omg is he a fantastic minifigure, and he has the most pieces I've seen for a CMF figure (not including Unikitty in TLM2 CMFs) a whopping 15 pieces (including extras and baseplate)
A few nice new elements :-))
Just hope the prices go back to normality of £2.99 and $3.99
May 1st!
Super Warrior looks an awful lot like a power ranger to me.
Really nice, gonna need a lot from this one.
There's also a leaked image of the second Harry Potter series blind bag
The Kamen... Ranger... looks cool, as does the keytar guy. Maybe I should get two of the keytars and make Alestorm and Dream Theater minifigs.
Sea rescuer and the last four for me
Any word on pricing? I hope they return to the $3.99 price point.
Gonna have to buy a few of the Viking and knight. All the other figures are a pass for me and I'm pretty sure these will be $5 unfortunately for consumers.
Space Fan! Wow I'd like to have 10 of those! I'd love a t-shirt with that design as well.
I need that Keytar
I need the Red Ranger, although he does look like he's stolen a Kamen Rider's helmet.
Most excited for the Viking as the helmet is perfect for a custom Rohirrim soldier, although I'm worried now that the helmet and beard are one piece.
The Daniel LaRusso looking fig is essential, I need that turtle, and the new sword mould for the knight will be good for Middle Earth figs.
Plenty of excellent figures in this series. What’s even better is that the DC figures should be discounted now! I can go grab the last ones I need
As a keytar player i really appreciated the 80's rocker! Too bad the keytar is printed upside down...
Why does the pea pod girl have an apple? I feel like they should make costume Minifigures AFTER they have a mold for what the costume is based on.

Yeah. But it still looks noice!
Love the turtle rescue, but come on LEGO, the mask and snorkel will fit on the Spy's hairpiece; how about a female hairpiece that can take a visor too? We're fed up with always having to put a ridiculous motorcycle helmet on anyone snorkelling or diving!
Looooooooooooooooooooove 'em! Will buy a box.
This is the first series since before 10 that I have any joy for. Drone pilot (I’m an FAA UAS pilot myself) green brick guy, Viking & knight are all very attractive. The first ones I’ve wanted in years!
I love the knight, Viking, and pirate like the rest ok. can't wait
Super Sentai!
My first comment got deleted (again). Anyway, I need the Piñata Boy, Drone Boy, and Space Fan.
Excellent series... but should we really be enviable that touching and feeling of blind bags at this time?!
Pretty forgetable
It feels like they toned them back - in a good way. Not every series needs to be an explosion of wacky characters. There’s some great molds here too.
Noticing that the drone boy's T-shirt is inspired by the signage in 6399 Airport Shuttle! This might've been pointed out already since the NYTF reveal, but this is my first time noticing that particular Easter egg.
@Bycougars: It's definitely inspired by series like Power Rangers/Super Sentai, but this minifigure's particular design is generic enough that it can't really said to be copied or plagiarized. There are loads of franchises that have had similar colorful masked hero teams since that format was first popularized, such as the Kamen Rider and Metal Hero franchises (both of which predated Super Sentai, but originally focused on individual masked heroes rather than teams).
Omgosh did they actually print the keytar upside down? No way... Was really looking forward to that piece, but that's a dealbreaker.

I have thought about the COVID-19 virus also and how it affects the bag feeling. I might wear throw away gloves and wash the bags before opening them. And throw on the alcohol and hand sanitizer.
But hey that five dollars is a bummer. Still plan on getting them though.

I'm intrigued by the Martial Arts Boy's nunchucks. Are the chain and handles separate pieces? If so, it looks like we'll get a 2 stud long bar, which will be extremely useful in MOCs. Even if it's all one mold, though, at least we'll finally get a realistic nunchucks element.
Tournament Knight & Viking Warrior in bulks, please!
Pirate Girl, Pea pod suit girl, Llama suit girl and Sea Rescuer, one of each, please!
Can’t wait to use that Viking helmet for Rohan soldiers
Space Fan?? And she has a 918 on her shirt??? Not a CMF collector, but I really have no choice here!
I also love that Drone Boy's face clearly had a close encounter with his drone.
Ooooh. Love that pirate one.
Any word on whether this will be fixed number per box or random distribution?

I agree, that would be a great length of bar if it is actually separate.
Is that mullet part new?
@Minifig290:
Don't go counting your eggs just yet. S1 had extra parts across the board. Then they dropped them for a _loooong_ time. They brought them back for TLM2, but only certain minifigs had them. I believe it was the double-bagged minifigs that did, while those that were just packed loose in the blind bags did not. So, it's really going to depend on whether Drone Boy gets an inner bag.
@Bycougars:
Kinda reminds me of Viewtiful Joe, with that giant V on his forehead.
@Judgeguy:
It looks very similar to the S3 Fisherman beard (now most commonly associated with Santa Claus), but the hair texture is significantly different. I don't think we can read anything into the fact that the beard is glossy, since the Diver's plant is too (polyethylene should have a matte finish), but I'm thinking the beard is a new sculpt, and I doubt they'd make a new beard that's so similar. Either it's part of the helmet as you fear, or maybe they needed it to be less bulky on the top edge so the helmet could fit over it.
@Positive_Peyton:
D'oh! I never noticed that before, but you're absolutely correct. However, the Athlete's image is reversed, so maybe these are just goofs with the digital files, and that sometime before the parts actually went through the printing step they figured it out. I say this knowing that the NYTF minifig had the same print, and the box shown at NYTF had the same print, and I know they guffed the print on the first Harley Quinn minifig and didn't do anything to fix it until the next time they ran the print process for those torsos.
@Joefish:
She's wearing a wetsuit. The wetsuit has a hood (as they often do). That's what the helmet has been intended to portray all along. Now, granted, the Football helmet would make a lot more sense, since it doesn't have a chinstrap, but it probably works better with the facemask.
@Aanchir:
I was wondering if that was a T or an M. And I now notice that the Airport Shuttle logo is based on a structure within the set itself.
I was excited for some of those until I remembered they're going to be 4€ again.
Maybe I should get an entire box of this and gift the rest to kids after this emergency is over.

Yes! Of course, Mum’s the word around the fansites.
Space Fan, all the costume guys, the Sea Rescuer's turtle Piñata Boy, and Pyjama Girl's teddy bear all seem really good to me. The Tournament Knight also seems like a good massable figure and has a fun color scheme
The piñata guy, knight, and Viking (Rohan soldier) are exceptional minifigs imo. Really looking forward to these guys!
@Aanchir - great catch on the drone boy's shirt logo! Very cool reference.
I wonder if there is a “1 per box” figure they did in HP...
I need the viking to make some rohan soldiers!
I like how there are figures for everyone here, some people asking for one or two in bulk, some people pursuing the "suit" variants, but every figure getting some love and lots of folks hoping to pick up most of the collection. Personally I've got my eye on the Viking and the Space Fan, saying two for now due to budget reasons.
I just need two more from the DC comics minifigs and I'll pick up some of these I like the Drone operator the little girl in pyjamas for the Hermione wig in blonde and the sea rescuer looks cool with the new Turtle element so do the Knight and viking!!
Some good minifigures, but I'm not quite excited for this series, especially considering it is supposed to be an anniversary one
Need 2-3 Space Fan's and I'll be a happy camper
That sure looks like Vercingetorix‘s shield. I wonder if.......
At last a bunch of cool looking figures again! I had lost hope, but now it's restored. ;) A new raven (?) shield? And a viking? Mabe a hint of things to come? Will definitely buy some of these!
I just hope they will appear in Poland. The 19 series was not officialy released here (while weak DC one was...).
I am still missing the giraffe and now i need llama in addition. New sword is cool too!
Glad I gave up on being complete a long time ago...
Out of this series, space girl for the 918 shirt, keytar guy and gren brick guy, no interest in the others...
Tournament knight and Viewtiful Joe look best to me. Though I wish Viewtiful had a black shoulder piece.
The other figures have some fantastic detailing, like the space fan shirt.
It is a OK series with some nice figs. Even if the turtle is great it is too few animals for my taste. What I will get depends on the price, 5$ is too much :S
For 4$ I will get:
-Sea Rescuer (try to get 10 because of the turtle)
-Tournament Knight
-Viking
-Pirate Girl
For 3$ I will get:
-Brick Costume Guy
-Drone Boy
-Llama Costume Girl
-Peapod Costume Girl
-Pinata Boy
-Pyjama Girl
-Space Fan
No interest in:
-80’s Musician
-Athlete
-Breakdancer
-Martial Arts Boy
-Super Warrior
I deem 10 out of 16 as usuable in my city setup. Not too bad.

Well noted! That really is a silly mistake that should be corrected.
Really good, as always
Dang I sure hope that the green brick man is Bright Green. One step closer to getting Bright Green 2x4s
Waiting for it!! A normal CMF series is back!! GREAT!!!! The minifigures are awesome! I will buy two of each and more of the Tournament Knight for creating another Medieval army and the pyjama girl for the teddy rabbit
Super Warrior and Viking are the only ones that really interest me here...
There is a lot of recycled ideas in this series. Pirate girl looks like female swashbuckler and we have already had many knights. Not to mention a viking minifigure back in the early days (Although this one does look better). I'm not saying these minifigures look bad, because they are all gorgeous, but it would be nice to have some more original ideas like the space fan or drone boy. Nonetheless, if these are $5 its going to be a reluctant pass.
disappointing that the knight doesn't have the newer big kite shield like the ghost knight or the bear from a couple years ago.
the new nunchuck chain is awesome.
i'm disappointed they didn't use the new larger kite shield for the knight, but the new sword is great. the shield looks like it could be a new group to mass with my black falcons.
Love them!
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Luvin' these awesome figs!
I need that Viking, classic space girl, and tournament knight! And all the other ones too.
Hoping the helmet and beard are two separate pieces on the Viking!!!
Not sure though?!?
Not a bad lot. I can see 7 that I would like to get.
I’d love extras on some of these, but $5 is too hard to swallow. Just means I buy less and less Lego. *shrug*
Most are surprisingly bland, and it wouldn't be worth taking the chances to get the couple good ones. Last years series was the best.
Definitely grabbing a few knights and Vikings, as well as Sentai Red and the Diver Girl. The rest are pretty good as well, but those are my favorites.
They look great!
For Series 21, they should re-issue the Series 1 zombie with a surgical mask and bottle of hand sanitiser gel.

I think they are separate. The NYTF picture hints at them being two parts.

Same hair piece in a different colour.
Another great set of fun minifigs. I love all the new animals they're giving us in the CMF line. I'm looking forward to this turtle.
$5 price tag kept me from getting more of the DC comics line and it will keep me from getting as many of these.
PLEASE tell the Lego graphics people that the keyboard of the keytar is upside down!
what is weird for me that we didn't get previous mini figure series 19 from october at our local shops and here is the next series so soon.
The whole series feel a little meh to me, with no real must-haves (but I usually only buy one or two figures from each series anyway nowadays). Marginally interested in the viking (but so seems everyone else, possibly making it hard to find) and maybe the nunchuck guy - it would be really neat if the rods are separate pieces (making both them and the chain very useful) unfortunately I suspect them to be one.
That keytar print is pretty embarrassing, I wonder if such parts are made as a one-and-done production run or if they'll at least will have a chance to correct it in later batches? I remember how they sent out free replacements for the mis-spelled flux capacitor in the DeLorean set, but I suspect that was 'cause they felt incorrect spelling hurt their image as an educational toy company and that they won't go to such lengths for this.
While talking about wrong-way prints, I notice that the buckles on the pirate girl are wrong too (the prong should face *away* from the end) while it's right on the viking. An utterly trivial (and barely visible) detail for sure, it's more that I've noticed how many (even a majority) of drawings who consistently gets this wrong - like in comics and similar illustrations.

"The keytar is wrong"
That depends on the model of keytar it is supposed to look like. For an Alesis Vortex or Roland AX-EDGE, the Lego version is correct. Yamaha and Korg make their keytars wrong.
Better than previous non-licensed series. Standouts are Breakdancer, Space fan and Drone Boy. Like the turtle and key-tar thing.

All pictures of the Alesis and Roland show that the Lego version is still wrong. It would seem strange that it would be right, since it would be like playing a piano lying over the strings.

Here's two pictures of keytars with the neck matching the Lego version:
https://www.guitarcenter.com/Alesis/Vortex-Wireless-2-Limited-Edition-Red.gc
https://www.interstatemusic.com/1005097-Roland-AX-Edge-Keytar-49-Keys-White-AXEDGEW.aspx
Datsunrobbie - The problem isn't the neck, it's how the keys has been printed upside-down so the black ones face the upper edge rather than down/towards the center line as in the pictures you link to.
I hope we’ll get the llama suit in another colour. White or darker tan would be great. I like his headpiece

One of those things that is often drawn incorrectly. Asked to draw a Christmas tree, most people will point the branches down relative to the trunk. In fact, they are horizontal or slanted upwards.

Thank you. Feeling rather stupid now - I looked at that picture over and over and could not see the problem with the keys.

In addition the side of the buckle where the belt goes out should be hidden by the belt like on the viking.
I adore the tokusatsu look of Super Warrior!
Wasn - That depends on the type of buckle. The viking has a "half" buckle with the prong and the fixed end of the belt attached to one side of a single metal frame, while the pirate has a "full" buckle where the belt and the prong are attached to a post in the middle of the frame.
Martial Arts Boy wil be banned in UK.
^ Doubtful. Why would that be?
@Zander:
That depends on the species of tree. The tend to be favored for Christmas because they have a fuller body, but there are some trees where the branches sag a bit, like a Douglas Fir. I know that there's a chemical in plants that affects direction of growth. If it settles in a root growing sideways, it causes the growth around it to slow, and the faster-growing upper side of the root forces it to curve downward. If it settles in a branch growing sideways, it speeds up the growth causing the branch to curl upwards. So if a whole tree is turned sideways, the new growth "rights" the tree. Judging by the shape of the branches, the Douglas Fir's branches try to grow in an upwards direction, but the weight of the lower branches may be too much for the slender branches to overcome, resulting in branches that point down a little bit but still curl upwards.
@Ziemba:
I hear they're going to call him "Hero Boy".
Oh, they look so good! I want all of them... NOW.

Didn't think of those xD. But the upper buckle for her sword-belt doesn't work anyways since it is too small for the belt.
But my main problem with here is that she just doesn't look good. The Pants look weird, since you don't really see a difference between them and heir boots, while the quillings on her shirt should be a bit more prominent to make her look more flamboyant.

Possibly leading to a new Lego theme?
Fortnite incomming.
Keytar guy is the only one that stands out. I want him. So I'll have to decide if I can go back to Bricklink to buy JUST him, rahter than screwing around with so many blind bags. The Viking, Knight, Pirate, and Pow... I mean Space Ranger I'd let into my collection, but they don't jump out at me. The rest are meh to eww, and I don't have the budget at the moment for meh-to-eww.
Droneboy is meh, but I want his gizmo. It think the plate they're using for the drone body is new?
@VerMonster:
I think the SP*CE cap is an existing shape, and the drone body may come from Overwatch. But obviously new parts include the keytar, the drone arms (the rotors come from the beanie cap), the llama head, the nunchaku (which I believe will be a dual-molded element rather than having removable handles), the cockeyed hat w/ hair, the pea pod, the sea turtle, the piñata, the stuffed bunny, the Viewtiful helmet, the knight's sword, the tricorne w/ hair, and the Viking beard/helmet (I'm leaning towards one piece, but if it's two the helmet is still new). Possible new pieces include the keytarist's hair, Daniel-san's hair, and (if it's a separate piece) the Viking beard.
That "Super Warrior" is definitely a Power Ranger.
I'm saving a lot of spare change having gave DC and now this CMF series the pass. Money which I hope shall be used for Harry Potter stuff later this year.
Dunno why I'm finding each subsequent CMF series to be less and less attractive. I hope the next non-themed CMF has something for me.
Pirate Girl will go nicely with the new Ideas ship :)
