The Company of Dwarves

Now I have all the Hobbit sets, and there's publicity around LEGO giving the cast of the movie their minifig equivalents, I thought it would be fun to line up the Company of Dwarves for a photo-shoot. I took my inspiration from this photo of the cast.
Thorin Oakenshield, their leader, is not in that picture for some reason, so here's one, like this one, where he is:

this picture is great, and when I was looking on the internet, I saw the original picture and I thought that that would make a nice lego picture. Then I went to brickset.com and saw it and I thought I love it.

thanks for the picture :) The resemblances of the minifigures are all pretty good except ori - that hair piece is nothing like the actor's. i'd be pretty disappointed if that were me.
I can do you a hi res version but I don't think it will be quite as high as that.
Actually, I'll do one on a dark background tomorrow, to match the original a bit better and which should be more suitable for a wallpaper. I'll make it 1080x1920.
crud, this poster is just TOO awesome. Now I'm going to need to purchase me some dwarves... and I was doing so well, too :/ (checks pocket book, stares at cat... sells cat for Lego).
1080x1920 will format to my desktop wallpaper perfectly.

@Huw ... Super photo...I have just received " an unexpected gathering" and unlike the Lotr sets , (which I have procured everyone of ) intended to stop at just that one set for this series... Looking at that photo...you have just am me go hmmmmm.
@Blounty23 Yes, Thorin's hair is the same mold as that of Fili and Kili :)
@HUW - Curse you! (not really) I am doing all that I can to spare my wallet and let it build up to finish off the LoTR sets...

Great picture Huw. I'm expecting demand for these to massively increase once the film has been out! If the level of detail was transfered into TLG's future castle stuff that would be amazing.
