©2020 LEGO Group

Thanks to a Czech toy shop website we now have high-resolution images of the majority of the June releases, which includes Architecture, City, Hidden Side, DC and Marvel Super Heroes, Friends, Dots, Ninjago, Jurassic World and Creator.

I've added them to the database and you can see them all here.

Thanks to Robert at Promobricks for the tip-off.

Oof, Fire Stone Mech’s shoulder armor piece looks slightly out of place :(

I like that the SQL query is displayed on the page :)

Yes, Pseudo-SQL is shown to logged in users on lists generated by advanced queries. It's useful for seeing how to construct your own.

Are the release dates June world wide? I thought the 501st Battlepack wasn’t releasing until August here in the states. The only sets I’m interested in are the Jurassic World and DC sets, but the release dates are all being given different months

By in Australia,

Those DC sets look very Juniorized. I'm disappointed.

The list is showing all unreleased regular sets so any that are due out later in the year that have been announced/discovered already will be in it.

I believe with the exception of Star Wars, they'll be released in June in EU/ROW, but like last year some will be held back until August in the USA, as is the case for Harry Potter.

The mysterious castle is a must buy for me now finally seeing it, pirate ship and the new Ninjago sets look good aswell.

Thanks, I didn't know that.

By in Switzerland,

Damn, those Marvel sets look awful and the new iron man helmet. Why Lego why?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Is it just me, or does the new Ninjago sets look like they have some sort of board/video game feature?

1: The sets come with stands with three hearts
2: The structures have spaces. (Like a board game)
3: The spinner looks like a die

Not a fan of using bricks for the sails.

By in Puerto Rico,

Ok here is my list so far for September:
SW:
-AT-AT (would have preferred an AT-ACT);
-x4 501st packs;
-Razorcrest;
City:
-removed the Airport as I am better at buying the parts for one MOC;
-Undersea Base;
-Submarine (the one with the Angler fish);
-Scuba Polybag;
Ninjago:
-that Sorcerer Dragon looks great for a diorama.
Hidden Side:
-removed the prision as again I am better off buying the parts from that set and the Castle to finish my military Base MOC for less.
Jurassic World:
-Wu lab with those baby dinos will so be mine (or I'll just Bricklink the babies);
-the adult Ankylosaurus and Galiminus will surely be BrickLinked as I don't want to keep buying sets with the same characters over and over.

Ugh. I really can't stand the new single-piece Iron-Man helmets.

Does anyone have any idea why the switch?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Regarding 76153 Helicarrier:

Anyone know what the yellow tool-looking thingie is near the brick separator...??

That makes sense. I remember a bunch of the summer wave sets got released in June but the DC wave got released in August for some reason along with Harry Potter. I can wait on the DC sets as they’ll probably be on sale around Christmas, but the Jurassic sets are all must buys except the juniors model

Gravatar
By in Philippines,

I can’t wait for Brickset’s official reviews of the 2020 summer sets, particularly those written by Huw, CapnRex101, and MeganL. Looking forward to Harry Potter, Hidden Side, and Creator! :)

By in United States,

Wow, they actually gave the White House an American flag. I remember people complaining about the original 2010 set having a plain white flag instead of an American one even though it was only a 1x1.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Look at those new Classic Space parts in that Batman Mobile Command truck!

YES!!!!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I’m surprisingly disappointed in the mysterious castle as I’ve liked the Hidden Side theme. The mini figs look good, but the castle seems out of place for the more Stranger Things vibe of the other sets. Maybe it’s an abandoned themed restaurant? That would fit. Just give us a classic castle please!

The Ninjago sets are actually very cool and different. I may need to buy those and I don’t really collect Ninjago. I also will probably buy the chubbier City airliner since I’m a pushover for aircraft.

EDIT: On the castle, I think it’s the stickers with the bright blue and the trans clear canopy pieces on the tower throwing me off. Other than that, it’s a nice design.

31107 looks like the spiritual successor to the 6901 mobile lab which was featured on Brickset recently

Gravatar
By in Russian Federation,

71720-1: Fire Stone Mech kinda reminds to me that two-faced villain from Hero Factory!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The brick built skull and cross-bones motif on the pirate ship is epic - who needs stickers, or even printing!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Yet again, the best City sets are Friends sets. If only Lego saw fit to change the color scheme away from pink and purple more often.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Combining Ninjago sets 71717 thru 71722 sounds like a really expensive brick game. Very clever Lego.

I'm looking forward to the City diver sets, Creator pirate ship, and Destiny's Bounty. Uggh this is going to be an expensive year.

By in Brazil,

I don't get it. You say you've added hq pictures of sets but why not add all of the images, like box art (front and back), minifigures, details? Sets like 76512 and 76159 have several differente high quality images all over the websites and Instagram and here, only the standard image.

Gravatar

60265: Underwater research station

Nice addition :)

They will be added automatically once the sets are listed at LEGO.com. However, should you wish to download them all and send them to me I'll be happy to add them before that.

@redbeardlegoman the helmet switch probably had something to do with the longevity and fragility of those faceplates that lifted up. Don't forget you're dealing with kids who aren't the most careful or ginger with their things. I'd imagine them breaking wasn't uncommon. And good luck replacing a visor from a long-gone set like the Heartbreaker armor. As an iron man collector that has them all save the Iron Man Mech and Rescue Armor I'm not at all happy about the switch. But I can understand why they did it.

That helicarrier looks absolutely god awful.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I really love the new Ninjago sets! As a big fan of Dungeons & Dragons this just oozes with awesomeness, and the skeleton dragon looks amazing! I'm curious to see how the gamification of these sets works, but honestly just the sets alone will be worth it!

Gravatar
By in United States,

@bananaworld:
_What_ it is is a stack of 18x yellow 1x2 rail plates. _Why_ it was included, I have no clue. I can't think of any gear that would mesh with the sides of the rails, and the front would be pretty smooth. If it's supposed to be something like a flight stick for MODOK, there are much more efficient ways to accomplish that.

@rljf311:
Well, a white flag signifies surrender, and looks nothing like a US flag.

By in Canada,

Not sure why everyone's panicking about the "new" Iron Man helmet, which has already been out for over three years and was never intended to replace the old one.

It shouldn't be any mystery why it was introduced — so far, it's exclusively been used for non-movie-based Iron Man suits for which the earlier helmet's molded details (eye shape, mouth shape, etc) would be inaccurate, as well as for helmets on other characters besides Iron Man like Justin Hammer, the Vulture, Rescue, Super-Adaptoid, Iron Venom, etc.

It's even shown up in non-Marvel sets like the TRON: Legacy set from LEGO Ideas! The smooth front surface with a wide printable area makes it far more versatile than the older helmet, which is designed specifically to recreate Iron Man's MCU design.

It's sort of ironic to see so much hate directed at this new helmet compared to the earlier helmet — I remember in early 2012, a lot of AFOLs were utterly repulsed by the MCU helmet mold, which they saw as excessively bulky and overspecialized. Many wondered why LEGO didn't just print the helmet pattern directly on a minifig head like they had with Spider-Man, Captain America, and the ultra-rare New York Toy Fair exclusive Iron Man.

I guess it's just another example of how people often stop feeling so resistant to stuff that seems new or different once they've had time to get used to it!

Anyway, with that said, the themes I'm most excited for here are Ninjago, Friends, and Hidden Side. I love the new Destiny's Bounty, Jungle Rescue sets, Heartlake Airplane and Water Park, and the new vaguely D&D-ish Ninjago wave/story arc! I expect that the Hidden Side castle and Creator Pirate ship will also be very popular!

Gravatar
By in Australia,

Even though Ninjago's not really my thing, I really appreciate how once or twice a year, they put out an absolutely beautiful set that works regardless of the theme. And half the time, that set is called "Destiny's Bounty".

Also wow how did that Helicarrier get approved as a set? I know people have been saying this for a while but they really just... do not try, with Marvel sets, huh...

Gravatar
By in Germany,

I like quite a few of these sets, from various themes. The Creator sets are a must for me. The new White House will go well with my Capitol, the new large Explorer vessel (60266) looks like a perfect companion for the old one (60095), and even Ninjago has some nice sets again after that godawful last wave with its crazy colours and strange settings. Now what about Technic?
And why can't LEGO design nice airplanes any more? Whether it's City or Friends, other than on one (60262), all the proportions look totally off. Like bloated bumblebees. Stubby tiny wings, overly large fuselages, the lot. Horrible.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Nice subtle changes to the DeepSea theme. The newer helmets look fantastic! Then female hair with a side swoop, and a hammerhead shark upper mouth part? Maybe I've just missed them in other appearances. At 70+ studs long, I'm excited for that Exploration ship, even if it is just two hulls back to back. Going to need a bigger shelf.

It does indeed look like LEGO is incorporating occidental fantasy into this Ninjago wave - which is great. On the downside, it probably means we won't see a dedicated Castle line, Ninjago having ticked that box as far as LEGO is concerned.

If the new teetotum (spinner) is numbered 1 to 6 as seems to be the case, I suspect I won't be alone in using it as a d6 in D&D :~) . It may be a d3 though, i.e. a six-sided teetotum numbered 1 to 3 twice.

Gravatar
By in Croatia,

-I'm not Ninjago fan, but this wave looks very good.
-don't get it way new plane look (mold), like Airbus. It is just taller than last plane(s) 8 wide.
-that Marine Vessel is a new mold. That one will buy, need container ship.
-new Batman minifigs, mine
-that fire truck in Hidden Side is very tempting - to finish it as part for City. And that Slender man too!
Edit
+ Batman has two new shaped capes!

Gravatar
By in United States,

So are these sets being released in June instead of August (in the U.S.)?

Gravatar
By in Philippines,

When I first saw the Hidden Side Castle, I thought (or was rather hoping) it was something I could integrate with the Harry Potter Hogwarts sets. There was a hint of tan-coloured wall panels in the preliminary design. But when the whole set finally got revealed, my hopes were dashed. LOL. It still looks nice though; much like a remake of the 2012 Vampyre’s Castle.

Gravatar
By in United States,

That Attack on the Burrow...

I'm just...wow...I want to marry it. SO in love...

Gravatar
By in France,

Nothing on the Monkey kid sets? Also, really looking forward to the deep sea sets, the big boat looks pretty sweet... Hidden side look a bit meh this time around.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@Aanchir:
People threw a fit about the Batman cowl back in 2006, too. Flash got less grief, but that may have been because they limited it to the upper half of his head. _Maybe_ it was because people had gotten used to the added bulk, since he came out two years in to the DC Superheroes line.

@AustinPowers:
So...no interest in a Gee Bee model, then?

@gsom7:
I'm still a bit upset that the Keaton Batman has a new cape that can't be swapped out for something more normal. This is the way to do it, though, giving you three different capes in each set. After all, they did it with the plastic wings for Space Batman, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, and the Parademons.

@javierulf29:
Are you sure that's not the Mario theme? I know they were using at least one codename so any leaks wouldn't give away the secret.

Not gonna post the link here but you can check these exact words on YT and you should find quite some details about that line! Looked pretty exciting tbh, while quite childish.
