I hope it's not true. I missed out on the Super Mario pre-order and bonus because I didn't know it went on sale and I was doing mission critical work with our company's COVID-19 plans. Yeah I know it's only a Lego set, but man I had really been looking forward to getting that day one with the Lego bonus, really was a gut punch when I got home that day and saw it was already gone.

Not live in US at 12AM must be what they deem will be popular sellers or something because the Monkie Kid sets were live 15 minutes before 12AM for that release.

I can imagine the person(s) at LEGO responsible for updating the site grinning with delight as no one can guess when it'll go live.

These 9 AM releases in Europe really need to stop. They make no sense whatsoever.
Between midnight and 9 AM, I kept refreshing hourly to see when it would go live. I've seen, in that time, the Disney Castle and the Tree House be put back on sale and going out of stock again.

So no GWP isn't surprising. LEGO is likely facing severe constraints in their production lines so they can't mass produce gifts. They could have made it double VIP but alas, that'd be asking too much probably.

Ordered.. I'm getting tired of staying until midnight or waiting for the next morning (worst time for me). Why not adding the option of pre-ordering all the new sets announcements? Like the Razor Crest or the Mario set for example..

Would love to know the stock levels that were available for this set. Only available to VIP's, aimed at the adult collector, and it's not cheap. Yet sells out in 2 hours? No doubt there will be loads on ebay soon. Was there a basket limit? A restriction to 1 per household would be handy for things like this.

Just ordered by phone, the lady said they had 919 sets left in stock but the website says "sold out" at the same time, strange.....

Yes, very expensive... Lego House, Dinosaurs and Tree. Then Liebherr R 9800 cheap on Amazon. Then Haunted House. And still got Pirates of Barracuda Bay, Pirate Ship, White House and Ducati on the wanted list!

On the plus side - Mario preorder is now live again in the US. Just pulled the trigger on that while waiting for the haunted house.

Maybe phone and web orders have there own separate allocated stock.

Just finished a call to US LEGO - goes live at 0900 hrs East Coast time. They apologized for not putting that info on the site. The lady was very polite and apologetic!

Come on lego.... get your act together. I am a serious adult collector, not a reseller and I cannot get the new items as they are out of stock withing 2 hours !! Very frustrating.. off to spend my hundreds of pounds you would have got on something else to keep me amused during lockdown.

Finally able to order mine... now I'm going back to sleep. Uggh I hate these 9AM EST releases. If they had announced in advance the time it would've been available it wouldn't be so bad but they've always been so inconsistent with these releases.

You’ll have to call TLG to have them fix your VIP account. It’s the only way.

USA: I received the official email offer at 8:42AM CST and ordered at 9:03AM. I was only allowed to order one set. It was already in my bag when I logged in from my phone. It had been in my wish list and somehow when I tried to add it to my bag, it said "limit exceeded", but then it was already in my bag. I completed the order no problem.

If it's in your bag already and you go back to the item page then that's why you're getting the limit exceeded message. However, if you complete the order and try again you don't get the same message. I think LEGO will probably cancel it manually, though.

Have to admit, I'm not thrilled with this haunted house. I like the Monster Hunters one they did a few years back far more.

Ordered mine this morning thinking nothing of it. I would’ve tried to stay up past midnight to order but was too tired and it slipped my mind. I checked my order and it’s “In Warehouse.” I’m happy I got it in because now it says back orders accepted and will ship July 6th! This was on sale for a few hours and not even for everyone, what’s going to happen with it’s open for everyone on June 1st?

You’ll still get the set though. They are really having a hard time keeping up with the demand right now given the current state of things in the world. It doesn’t help either that they have production slowed down or closed in some areas. I think it’s worth taking a deep breath and waiting a few extra weeks. Yes I understand that it stings and that they should honor it, but things happen.

I'm frankly astonished that my set got shipped same day (I guess same night; got the notification it had shipped around 8 PM). I've never had it take less than a week for LEGO to ship an order from their warehouse in recent years. I'm sorry for anyone who got caught with an unexpected delay; I'd be frustrated too.

Ordered mine as soon as it went live on Wednesday morning and as of now it still hasn’t dispatched yet! Still showing in warehouse!

Got mine this morning. I think 3 days from Belgium to UK is pretty good going!

Started building today. Got to bag 2 and have discovered that two different types of pieces are missing (2x 1x1 dark brown and 2x 1x2 dark gray). On top of that, inside bag 2 were pieces not needed for that instruction section. This is the first time I’ve ever run into genuine missing pieces... can definitely tell they’re missing because of the extra not needed pieces in their place. Anyone else run into an issue? I’m in the US.
