Win your drawing as a mosaic & have it displayed in the LEGO House

Posted by ,

Fairy Bricks, the charity that gives LEGO to kids in hospital, has just launched an exciting competition. Chief Fairy Kev explains:

"It’s rare we do anything like this so please read on to discover how you can have your drawing created into a LEGO Mosaic that will be displayed in the LEGO House before being shipped to you to keep!

"We have all had to adjust to different ways of doing things over the last few weeks and it has been hard, but hopefully this time has also brought along some extra fun family moments. Fairy Bricks want people to show us what they have been doing with their family whilst at home, fun things they have done, any unusual activities or what it means to them to be with their family at this time.

"Post your drawings via Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using the #FairyBricksFamily and also include a brief description of your drawing and your age and be sure to tag us so we can see your works of art!

"A winner from each age category below will be chosen by our panel of independent judges. Huw Millington, owner of Brickset, Deborah Cauchi, owner of Toysrart and Rod Gillies, a news editor at The Brothers Brick.

  • Under 3s
  • 4 to 7
  • 7 to 10
  • 11 to 16
  • Over 16

"We will then work our magic and turn the winning entries from each age category in to a 75cm x 75cm LEGO mosaic (that's 96x96 studs) that will be displayed in the LEGO House, hopefully later in the year. Entries are welcome worldwide but you must post your pictures by 8pm BST June 8th for them to be considered."

Remember don’t forget the #FairyBricksFamily or we won’t see your entry!

Terms & Conditions:

ENTRY DEADLINE: Submit your entry no later than 8pm BST on 8th June 2020.

If you’re not sure what time zone you are in here’s a time zone converter

Contest entries that do not fit our brand values will not be eligible for the competition. Find out more here.

In the event that the LEGO House remains closed for the remainder of 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions, the mosaics will be sent directly to competition winners.

The judges' decision is final.

Huw, on the article, it says that the entries should be a drawing, but the fairy bricks poster says that this should be an image, (bottom right corner of the poster) so which one is true? I hope you reply , Thanks!

Great Idea, but two things needing clearing up first.
1. Is Kev ok with the term "Chief Fairy Kev"
2. Can a 7 year old enter twice, in two categories (I assume its a typo)

and 96 x 96 would be the biggest set ever.... unofficially of course....
