Microbuild competition

We are currently judging our Build a Bonsai competition and hope to publish the results by the end of the month.

If you're looking for a new challenge, check out the microbuild competition that our friends over at Toys n Bricks are running. All you have to do is create a miniature version of a licensed set using fewer than 300 pieces. The first prize is a $100 LEGO gift card, so it's well worth entering.

The model pictured isn't an entry, but it's a cool microscale rendition of the Ninjago City sets by Adeel Zubair.

This is amazing! Instantly recognizable ... with only tiny pieces. Wish i had that talent.

I am so horribly bad at micro builds. I probably won’t even try this

I'm sure the contest will also feature amazing entries, but in the meantime hats off to Adeel! That is an amazing microscale build, instantly recognizable and with incredible detail at such a small scale!

Have you thought about submitting it to LEGO Ideas? Or have you already? You would surely win my support!

Very cute - makes me wish I’d bought the mini modulars a few years ago!

@spicy_grant Unfortunately, it would clash with their existing Ninjago portfolio and wouldn't be considered.
