80108 Lunar New Year Traditions, pictured, and 80109 Lunar New Year Ice Festival are now available at LEGO.com priced at £59.99 / €69.99 and £89.99 / €99.99 respectively.

While I am sure they will not sell out today they do tend to be very popular so if you're thinking of buying them it'll be best to do so sooner rather than later.

Those if you in the USA and Canada have a little while longer to wait fork them: they'll be available in North America from 10th January.

We'll be publishing our review of 80109 Lunar New Year Ice Festival at 2pm GMT today.

By in United Kingdom,

Still excellent, but each year not quite as good as the previous. I think these might have been the last 'must have', 'immediate buys', especially with the increasing sticker count on the cheaper set.

By in Netherlands,

Although these new CTF sets still look good IMO and offer great value (parts and minifigure wise for what they cost), I rather wait for the January 1 release of the new Monkey Kid sets.... (like the beautiful/ colourful City of Lanterns set, which states a NL price of just EUR 129,99 for almost 2200 parts(!) and the new space themed MK sets!) plus the new SW Hoth sets...

I can't help myself... I'm a sucker for anything Space + LEGO...

Happy holidays everyone!

By in Italy,

Last year's two sets were definitely more attractive than the 2022 novelties.

What a dumb release date.

By in Australia,

These sets were already at 20% discount on their release date in Australia, through at least two retailers that I saw. So I doubt they’ll be in short supply. I purchased both. The ice festival looks every bit as beautiful as the previous years’ sets. The minifigure scenes look fun too; that sort of display is less my cup of tea but at the very least I’ll move them into my city at some point.

Now waiting for next years sets, just to see if they have to be bought....?

Kmart certainly had stock in Albany, WA... at 22% or more off RRP... found them quite by accident. Happy New Year to us.
