76223 Nano Gauntlet unveiled!

Posted by ,

Amidst the various product releases today, LEGO has also announced another set that will be available on the 1st of August.

76223 Nano Gauntlet takes inspiration from Avengers: Endgame and matches the lovely 76191 Infinity Gauntlet released last year. Note the clever use of pearl gold satchels around the Infinity Stones attached to the knuckles!

The set costs £59.99, $69.99 or €69.99 and contains 675 pieces. View the box images below...

Do you think 76223 Nano Gauntlet reaches the same standard as its golden predecessor? Let us know in the comments.

Looks better than Thanos's gauntlet IMHO, but I'm likely in the minority here so what do I know.

By in Germany,

It looks cool and it is the right hand, instead of the left that Thanos' gauntlet was. They will look awesome next to each other. :)

It looks sweet and I love the silver detailing bricks

It doesn't really interest me, but I agree - this one looks better.

Oh SNAP! Gotta have this….

By in United States,

Doesn't look bad, but I prefer the shiny gold parts pack to the dark red one.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I presume the review will have them both this and 76191 together ;-)

Am I the only one who thinks it'd be funny to display this and the Infinity Gauntlet flipping each other off?

By in Switzerland,

Woah, I cannot wait to bring Marvel™ Avengers™ Iron Man™ glove to my living room! Stunning detail of Infinity Gems™ will help me relive my favorite scenes from Avengers: Infinity War™ movie. Representatives of LEGO™ Group certainly worked very closely with Marvel™ on this one to produce a one of a kind set for collectors. Building the 76223 Nano Gauntlet set will also be a great way for adult builders, such as myself, to challenge construction skills and relax from busy life.

By in United Kingdom,

I really like this. The shaping is fantastic, and the use of those minifigure satchels in gold, held down by roller skates, is absolute genius

Gravatar
By in United States,

Just don’t put it on and try using it. The results would be... less than great for oneself.

Gravatar
By in United States,

It looks cool! Opinions seem divided. I like Thanos’ original more.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I will definitely be picking this up at some point, especially so I can have a thumb wrestling war with the infinity gauntlet.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

If you ask me, I think the Infinity Gauntlet is much more iconic, so I'll pick that up first. I do like how this is designed though.

Or holding hands in a 'gentle, possibly loverlike' way (to borrow from Deadpool).

Seriously, I agree with CapnRex about the satchel's NPU - very clever.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

The absurd NPU of those Indiana Jones satchels with the skates deserves recognition! I wonder how the instructions will explain putting those together...

Gravatar
By in United States,

Finally!

By in South Korea,

Looks great. Wasn't sold on the infinity gauntlet, but definitely gonna pick this one up

So the combo options we have:

A swear-off.
A gentle caress.
A thumb war.
The ceiling of the Sistine Chapel?

I would add the "High-Five" to the list. ;)

Fist bump with the infinity gauntlet

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Just reminds me to buy the Infinity gauntlet (before the prices go up in September?)

Gravatar
By in United States,

I like them equally, although the Nano Gauntlet definitely integrated the infinity stones in a more clever way.

Hand shake
Pinky promise
Classic Ninjago moment where someone falls off a cliff and a hand comes out of nowhere to catch him or her

Gravatar
By in United States,

LEGO did a nice job with this. Gave it a more glove look, like a ski glove, versus Thanos golden glove looked more skeletal like, in the fingers, and more like a hand that was gold. I have the Infinity Gauntlet, which I think looks great. Now I need the other hand, as two hands are better than one.

Rock-paper-scissors
Warrior forearm clasp
"Two thumbs up!"/Fonzie (might require mirroring one of them into a left hand...)
Two-fingered eye-poke with knife-hand block?

Gravatar
By in United States,

This looks much better than the infinity gauntlet! The color scheme is also better with dark red, drum lacquered silver, and pearl gold. I have no interest in buying the set, but I find the NPU commendable.

Fist bumping these two might end the multiverse!

I saw this in the wee hours of last night, and couldn't for the life of me figure out what those pieces were. Ha! Trully awesome NPU. Can NOT think of a better one in an official set!

Don't make me choose between my pretty babies...

We all know the second child is always gonna be better. ;) They continually compare themselves to the older sibling.

Winner!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Can't wait to get this and do the Run The Jewels pistol and fist with them.

Gravatar
By in United States,

@HAL_9001 : The Infinity Gauntlet is already a left hand, so no mirroring required. It would need to be mirrored to do a hand-shake or forearm-clasp, though.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Look great another 85 pieces and £10 cheaper than 76191. What's not to like!!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Honestly I think it looks even better than Thanos' gauntlet. Won't be purchasing it but definitely a cool set

Gravatar
By in United States,

Another (slightly) overpriced MCU display set? It’s for some people, but I’m not super interested, although it looks aesthetically pleasing and it’s kind of funny that (as important as the scene is) they recreate the finger snap since Tony sacrifices himself and dies depressingly in that part.

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Well, the golden gauntlet will cost €90 (+€10 from now) after September .....

Gravatar
By in United States,

So is this like the fiat 500 re-release? Theyre trying to get suckers to buy one in all the colors of the rainbow?

Gravatar
By in United States,

Or you could
- have them jointly hold 10280 Flower Bouquet
- put one on the roof of each color of Fiat
- use them to tie the laces on 10282 Adidas
- have them be growing out of the pot from 10289 Birds of Paradise
- have them type on 21327 Typewriter
- use them to play 21329 Stratocaster or 21313 Piano

Just some random ideas. Personally, I really like what they did with this one because of all the creativity it's sparking :)

Gravatar
By in United States,

If this goes on sale at Target like the Infinity Gauntlet did, I might pick up several copies. These things are wonderful parts packs!

Haa haa totally taking your advice on this.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

So, in spite of the Infinity Gauntlet having probably more than twice as many drum-lacquered pieces as this one, it's the same price? I thought all the drum-lacquered pieces were how they justified the cost of the first one, or was that just me?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I love the use of the minifig bags around the stones

If this price doesn't change, and the gold one does (see august/september price change news articles), in Europe at least the golden gauntlet will be adjusted to €90 (currently €80), while this one is €70.

I agree.
I would prefer red and silver to gold, so this is perfect for me.
Plus, I missed out on the first Gauntlet set.

I'm concerned about the stretching of the golden satchel pieces though.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

@Lego there must be a mistake. This should cost $90 from the start.

I know, I was referring to the number of drum-lacquered pieces in each set, not the total number.
