Adult watches to be available again

A blog about watches, A Blog to Watch, revealed yesterday that LEGO watches for adults will be available again. The last time a decent range was available was back in the 1990s: since then most LEGO watches have had small faces and been aimed squarely at kids.
Now ClicTime is launching a new adult range in November, featuring similar interchangeable straps and so on that the kids ones have, with both plastic and aluminium bezels.
It looks as if there will something like 25 different ones so there should be one for every taste. The Brick Fan has posted images of them all in a neat gallery, so go and see which ones take your fancy. Prices are said to be $85-$185.
I used to wear LEGO watches but now I favour Swatch Skin, which are so thin and light you hardly know you have one on, so I probably won't be buying any of these.

I must, however, beg to differ regarding adult watches from Lego. I own a number of adult watches produced in 2009 by TLG in conjunction with ClicTime. Some are Star Wars, while another is a generic Creator watch of the sort of style shown above. Just like the above image, these watches have larger faces and links and a more adult appearance as well. I imagine that there are more of these from other years since the 1990s as well, though I am not sure.
If you take a look at older Lego product pages for watches, there are clearly a large number of adult watches in the mix. Here are a couple examples from Brickset:

Thank you for pointing that out, you're right there has been one or two. It looks as if this latest initiative is a full-scale assault on the market, perhaps to capitalise on the forthcoming exposure the brand will receive among non AFOLs when the LEGO Movie is launched next year.

Excellent news. How ever, I am not sure whether it is appropriate to call these as "adult watches." To me it gives a feeling like it is more teenager oriented - at least most of them. Definitely not kids oriented though. But for adults? I am not really sure.
Still I might search for those in stores to see how it looks like in real. I also must admit - I got those already:

These watches look brilliant. I've been wondering if we'd ever see Lego Adult watches again - the problem now is how to choose?
I currently wear a lego watch for kids, and I'd like a bigger one, but I don't like these. I've grown fond of my rainbow watch, and I don't like how these are monochrome.

Doubt I buy one, but I love the designs
I have been wondering why they haven't been producing these for a while now, nice to see that The LEGO Group finally caught on. However I am not going to be getting one, I'm more of a pocket watch kinda guy.
