LEGO's pick-a-brick page has also just provided us with pictures of three sets that will most likely be available exclusively in brand stores and at LEGO.com in January.

There are new flowers, a beautiful Valentine's set and this extremely colourful piñata which looks like it splits in half to spill its contents.

View photos after the break!

By in Canada,

Omg the pinata actually "breaks" open, that so cute! There a hinge just barely visable along the back. I defintiely want that one

That well has dried up. The last great Star Wars movie was made in 1983. That's about 40 years ago. Aside from rereleasing new X-Wings and TIE Fighters every three years or so, what's more to do?

I don't doubt that there are probably more strictly enforced embargoes with Star Wars than there are with other themes. Disney tends to be very controlling about what Star Wars media/info gets released at what time, and that extends even to licensing.

Oh my gosh that heart ornament is absolutely amazing (love the pinata too!).

And yet some of the best Star Wars has been released in the last 5 years as streaming series, but we've only gotten a set here and there while TLG keeps making X-wings and TIEs every few years. The well is fuller than it's ever been, they're just not drawing from it.

These sets are great. But, I need a Saw Gerrera X-wing to add to my pile (part of the problem)!

By in Puerto Rico,

Greatness revealed, I hope the JP and SW sets are also good.

By in United Kingdom,

Love those daffodils!

NPU of the good old shield

By in United Kingdom,

3 more excellent sets. Will need a few bunches of daffodils. They just look so 'right'.

By in United Kingdom,

Daffodils are great. They need to make thistles next, otherwise the Scottish AFOLs will start revolting ;)

I'm not really into pink but the heart ornament is cute. It makes me want to MOC a multicoloured floral wreath.

By in United States,

I love the Daffodils and the Heart Ornament is really pretty, so two more items for my wishlist. The Pinata isn't be something I would consider purchasing. It just looks like a mess of bricks to me but I get why others will think it's great.

By in United Kingdom,

I don't get Piñatas. Hey kids, let's hang this object shaped liked an animal and hit it over and over again until it splits open and its guts fall out.

Anyways, the daffs look nice. Nice addition to the botanical range. Probably add them to the other smaller flower sets

By in United States,

Got two bouquets, a dozen tulips, dozen roses, half dozen sunflowers... guess ill get a dozen daffodils too.

They need a polybag with a ton of the stem pieces or something tho, theyre all too short for most of our vases. Long technic axles work in tinted ones but not in anything just clear.

@Speed_champions_fan:
Or Brickset is.

@Librarian1976:
UCS Speederbike.
UCS Desert Skiff.
UCS Sail Barge.
MBS Jabba’s Palace.
A decent Twin-Pod Cloud Car.
Vehicles that transform into their pilots.

@Lyichir:
It’s not just Disney. Lucasfilm has long been that way, but in both cases it has to be for a reason. Stuff related to a new movie is always under embargo for one reason or another. Lucasfilm also put the entire franchise under embargo for the release of one set of DVDs. Neither really seems to care about these annual releases when they’re tied to previously released works, though. I mean, what’s to spoil, from their POV?

By in Norway,

That pinata is terrific! The exposed studs really define its texture, it looks outstanding. Beautiful colors too, I'm loving the coral and orange-yellow.

Also liking the daffodils, but I hope there's a pin or rod holding those orange cones in place.

Build your own one. Only question is: MOC, mod or colour swap?

Yeah, but I need a Benthic "Tubes" fig to go with it.

Let me give you the perspective of a kid from the Southwest. First, they're fun as hell to make (glue, flour, water, slimy mess, balloons, colored paper). Second, imagine a brutal rugby scrum involving bloodthirsty children who have been waiting impatiently FOREVER for any sign that the candy n toy guts are about to start spilling. Each crack brings squeals of anticipation and delight! It's udder havoc and bedlam. Only the coolest parties had them. The best ones had understanding abuelas ready with a bowl of extra candy and toys for the crying kids who couldn't handle the melee because they were injured or empty-handed. Fiesta Forever Amigos!!

By in Singapore,

The Heart Ornament and Piñata look like great parts packs for me, meaning I'll have to get a second copy of the latter to build. It seems that Brickset supports displaying the letter ñ, at least in a comment, so is there a reason why the name is misspelled in the set database entry?

Now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time...

By in United States,

I like all of them, but my wife will definitely be wanting multiple copies of the daffodils.

@LegoSonicBoy:
Set names are scraped from LEGO.com, I believe. If it says "n", so does Brickset.

The source that was linked (online PAB) listed the set name as Piñata. It appears to have been delisted now.

By in United States,

I want to get one or two of that piñata set and combine it with a brickheadz to make a piñata brickheadz

Gravatar
By in United States,

The heart is lovely and I'm looking forward to adding the daffodils to my vase of Lego flowers. The piñata looks fun, but may not be one that gets assembled and stays put together.
