Will the GWPs also be available at offline, i.e. real, LEGO stores?

Maybe a couple of £50 orders for the VIP add-ons then... see what's available on the 14th for the Jazz Club. (Unless something also pops up in the £85-£100 threshold range as well)

Yes, it should be available in physical stores too as long as they still have some on hand. Not sure how quick they will run out but you should have some time to get one before that happens if you plan to spend $190 within the first week of the promotion.

A few sets not yet to be released in USA. We finally get the London postcard, but the CNY sets aren't until January 10 and the HP banners aren't until March 1.

But, still, a nice bounty tomorrow!

Which midnight is that? Or is it just at all local midnights?

In the USA, it will be midnight Eastern.

The week after Christmas is consistently the one week out of every year when I have the least amount of money, so thanks, Lego.

A toss up between buying now for theses GWPs or holding on until later in January for the expected 40583 GWP.

I’d imagine we get the CNY buildable animal again as a GWP. Surprised it hasn’t been mentioned yet.

Looking for some new VIP Rewards, especially Space and Fantasy Adventure Rides.

But if not, at least we finally get the most recent series of Australian Lego Masters starting tomorrow in the UK.

Strangely the Lunar New Year Display 80110, which was available on Dec 25th is now 'coming soon Jan 10th. I can understand it going out of stock, but would have expected it to be on backorder.

Yes, maybe hold off purchasing Jazz Club - rumoured pizza delivery van GWP for Feb.

UK stores were told to pull it from shelves on 29th Dec. No explanation, just a directive from head office.

Probably gonna get a modular building I can somewhat easily resell for 20-30 bucks less, in that way I just bought the cruiser for 20-30 bucks like they should let us in the first place!

No, not permanent, just until 10th January. Very odd for Lego to change a release date after the actual release. It's not a licenced product so they can do what they like. Looks very unprofessional to customers, and frustrating for those who had planned what to buy on the 1st and now need to find something else to meet the GWP thresholds.

They're obviously very confused... Chinese New Year sets available again! Ordered quickly, before they changed their minds again!

I like parts GWP, it was a nice little addition to the Blacktron. Too bad it wasn't a modular-centric GWP, but it's a good bunch anyways!

Just after midnight, I let the page load and do its thing. I think two refreshes is all it took and I was in. _Do_not_ manually refresh the page, try to start a new window, or do anything else to jump the line, because they just kick you back to the end of the line.

In for 2 blacktrons, I guess LEGO’s ploy got me good. Mostly got my next two big monkey kid sets (Galactic explorer and city of lanterns), and a smaller monkey kid set (moon cake factory), and lord of the rings brickheadz to fill in. I don’t even like brickheadz, but no way I’m letting new LOTR LEGO pass me by. I’m a sucker. But a pleased sucker.

Me too for 2X Blacktron GWP. Of course I am a sucker for space and Blacktron, but the ploy only worked because of a fresh wave of decent mid range sets. Even for Blacktron, I would not have spent $190 for a set I didn't want and attempt the return shenanigans.

Lego was smart to tie in such a desirable GWP the start of the New Year because honestly I would have waited for other retailers to discount these sets. Yes, some FOMO at work here too. "

It was good (or bad?) timing for me too because I’ve fallen in love with (many) of the Monkie kid sets way late. So I still have some from throughout 2022 I was going to get eventually regardless of Blacktron. It just made me order a bit sooner.

To answer my own question just in case someone is in the same situation, yes, the Lunar New Year Pack is available as a GWP in physical stores. I got the pack at the Westfield Shepherds Bush store today. You do have to be a VIP though, which I am.

To answer my own question just in case someone is in the same situation, yes, the Lunar New Year Pack is available as a GWP in physical stores. I got the pack at the Westfield Shepherds Bush store today. You do have to be a VIP though, which I am.

Yes, still In Process and rest of order is In Warehouse. Even if it doesn't ship until after the 10th, I'm happy if it counts towards GWP threshold. No email about it being delayed though which is unusual. Will just have to wait and see!
