Legends of Chima magazine issue 2
Posted by Huw,
The second edition of kids' comic Legends of Chima is out this week in the UK and other parts of Europe.
There's not much in it to appeal to adults, but it does have this Razcal minifig on the cover with an 'exclusive raven lance', which is pretty cool, unlike the odd weapon Ewar was wielding in issue one. It's a genuine figure, not made from Chinese ABS, which makes it even better.
Next month's issue comes with Grumlo, who only appears in 70008, Gorzan's Gorilla Striker, so will be well worth picking up.

How much do the magazines cost (and where are they available)? ie, is it worth it just for the polybag?
Hopefully they've fixed the missing part problems that came with issue 1! £3.25 in the shops Plasmodium!
I've been buying mine in Tesco, I haven't seen them in WHS but I suspect larger branches have it. It's just about worth it for the minifig, particularly if you don't have it already. If they continue to have them on the cover you should be able build up a good collection of Chima figs over time.
Not really worth it just for the figures. They are not very special.
But if you have a child the magazine story's might be used for bedtime reading?
There are some colouring sections and puzzles.
That's a pretty cool looking weapon
I wouldn't mind a small army of those gorilla guys next month, issues cost €4.75 here but I think it's worth it. :)
The publisher of issue 1 said they would post out a replacement after the mess with issue 1, like to hear better word of mouth on the figure for issue 2 as don't want the same hassle once again. Good luck everyone
^ Depends on your definition of genuine :-)
its available on uniquemagazines.co.uk for those outside the uk
Picked mine up at co-op today, so they are in most places. Was last or only copy. Want to leave as stocking stuffer for Xmas but not confident after issue 1. Anyone opened one yet? What's the success rate, cheers
Tick1970 All the pieces were present in my copy of issue 2 from Tesco Beeston, Nottingham, as they were for issue 1.
Luckily Tesco have sent me a coupon for 75p off a kids magazine ... so my chima minifig will cost just 2.50 next month. :) :) :)
faith is restored, all parts accounted for from copy I got at the Co-op
In Ireland it is available in Tesco and I'm not sure how much it is between 3-5 euro, which in my oppinion is good since you get a minifig and most polybags online cost €5 on average. I'm getting my one soon !!!
I bought issue 1 from Asda and will hopefully be getting issue 2 from there aswel. I contacted both the publisher of the magazine and LEGO customer services and both were very good at replacing missing parts from the issue 1 polybag mess.
Anyone in Ireland selling issue 1 ?? Please !!!
