Images of numerous 2023 polybags have emerged over the last few weeks, now including the impressive 30652 Doctor Strange's Interdimensional Portal!

JB Spielwaren has published this image and I think the polybag looks great, featuring an uncommon minifigure and a clever means of depicting Doctor Strange's portals, with microscale buildings on the other side.

Hopefully the polybag will be distributed worldwide over the course of this year. You can find more 2023 polybags in the database.

By in Australia,

I'm still looking for some of last year's polybags. Some of which I don't think were even released, let alone, made it to Australia.

Nice.

By in United States,

I wish polybags were easier to find in the UK. It feels like most of them only turn up on eBay without ever being available anywhere else.

This is the kind of polybag that turns up on the front of the magazines.

I have a feeling it will be more like 30453 available at lego stores worldwide. I would be dissapointed if it is another GWP though...

The packaging says Infinity Saga, but the clothing is from Multiverse of Madness, which is Phase 4.
So.. Yeah. :/

Dr. Strange has no interest in such pedestrian notions of time, space, or cinematic promotional marketing categories.

Sucks doesn’t it? I gave up waiting and bought 30581 online the other day. Here’s hoping the 2023 ones actually make it to our shores..

And the online options are just so prohibitively expensive. I ended up spending $20-$30 on some of last year's polybags when they popped up on eBay or on Amazon, but it was the only way to get the darn things.

And I still never found the scarecrow or the Monkie Kid bag.

You can buy it, on their website. So I guess that's not a promo item.

I was so annoyed by how much I had to spend to get 30455; almost as much as I spent to get 76181!

By in United States,

I tend to buy polybags at Walmart or Target. I hope this new Dr. Strange minifigure has a reversible head with his third eye.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I picked up 30654 yesterday. Very swooshable.

Gravatar
By in United States,

The 1X2 round plates should've been transparent orange, the solid color looks really odd through the portal. I really wish we'd get more sets based off the first movie, I'm still waiting for a Kaecilius Minifigure.

By in United States,

Not a fan of the majority of Marvel sets, but I love the minifigs… Looking forward to finding this little polybag!

Indeed.

By in United States,

I don't look for poly bags as they are so hard to find, and I will never pay aftermarket prices for them

What a great way to get a desirable minifig in an inexpensive set. I don't buy Marvel sets, but this is cool.

Monkie Kid unfortunately was a promo. Although I have found promo polybags sometimes, like an absurd amount of Hogwarts castles, Monkie Kid was listed as $7 with Lego and that might be too inconvenient for retailers. This should have a similar retail as the bridge battle polybag...which I guess isn't too promising.

By in United States,

I just wish this had been a non-deceased Defender Strange, as it'd be nice to get a variant that hasn't been released in a main set yet. The precedent being that time we got green-uniform Captain Marvel in a polybag (she was otherwise only available in an SDCC exclusive set).

Oh well.

Anyway, the portal probably needs to be modified with some flame pieces on clips. I smell customization coming.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Anyway, here's hoping this turns up in the Easter promos at either Walmart or Target next month. (I haven't seen much Lego in the Valentine's promo aisle at Target.)

Gravatar
By in Canada,

I have never found any Technic polybags in Canada - and HP are very hard to find as well (in the part where I live at least. pop: 800k)

This polybag is cool but to me the big question would be: is the picture at the back included (i.e. a somewhat translucent picture of a blurred city in the background) without that, this arrangement of pieces does not mean much.

Hopefully it’s something that can be bought. But I have a feeling that it will be quite popular as a cheap set with Doctor Strange.

Ok, that background scenery is gorgeous.

Might be worth buying a few for the transparent macaroni tiles...

There was a panda polybag that disappeared quickly and supposedly a Friends one too but all I ever saw was the shelf tag

Gravatar
By in United States,

I don't know if I actually want to get this since I just ordered the Sanctum, but it's giving me some interesting ideas for alternate ways to display the portals. I haven't built it yet but that was one thing I was disappointed by because I'm not sure if I can display it in a way that shows the sides you can place the portal much or at all.

Nothing is hard to find on the internet Things might get expensive, but not hard to find. These polybags are listed on lego website.

By in United States,

Saw many of the 2023 polys at the LEGOLAND Discovery centers, but at 7 dollars a piece I did not get any duplicates. Here is to hoping they make an appearance at other stores throughout the year (as Easter is coming up Im guessing at least two will be at Target stores). LDCs also tend to put out older polys so still holding out hope for 30569 to appear at the one near me

Gravatar
By in Russian Federation,

A great polybag and a minifigure, otherwise I missed sets with it last year. I hope to get it.

I do not care about the character, but I really like this poly bag for some reason.

The only store that carries polybags in Australia is the actual Lego shop. Retail toy shops simply don't carry them (occasionally, little stands with 5 different varieties of polybag will pop up in odd places, like the toy section of a grocery store, or the post office, but that's rare). And although they're available in physical Lego stores, you can't buy them from Lego.com, they're always gift-with-purchases or free add-ons or whatever.

Ebay and Amazon sellers get some of them (I don't know how. Possibly they buy in bulk from Lego stores?), but that then becomes a hideously expensive option.

It's just damn near impossible to actually get these things.

Isn't that colour discontinued as of 2023?

I like this polybag. Simple, but effective."

TR Neon Orange is out as of 2022, as none of last year's "regular" sets contained the colour. It remains a holdout in only two known sets, 2000430-2 (Education) where a 2x2 dish is included, and 60339 (Stuntz) in a dual-molded flame. Personally I consider the colour to be retired as of 1/1/2022

The only place I've ever seen them is the official Lego stores, so you could try there if you were out of luck.

This one was available as a VIP purchase (spend VIP points to get as part of an order) in the US. It appeared at one point when I was looking. I didn't see it announced anywhere.

I mean, you can crudely paint a third eye on it. It will likely look better than the original animation

They may be sold out at this point, but my Target(at least the one that had them) had put them in the Disney merch area rather than with Lego.

I visit three Target stores at least weekly, usually twice a week, and none of them have had them. None of them have the Disney area either, but it's pretty disappointing that they haven't been everywhere. Even though the Target app showed the set many times in Instagram ads, it was never available for online orders. Pretty lame! :(

I gave up on checking the store inventory online. They never seem to remotely match. Hopefully Lego will put polybags back on their site like they did during COVID.

By in United States,

FYI to anyone looking for this set in the US, it is now available online at Target.com for $4.99 as of February 1st with a max order of 3 per person.
