By in France,

Aurora was not the one I looked the most forward to, but those gold highlights really make her stand out in the line IMO, what a pretty figurine !

Gravatar
By in United States,

These are all really well done.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Pinocchio has a minfig head with a nose! There’s some cool stuff here.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I NEED BAYMAX

I want the entire Big Hero 6 tbh!

Gravatar
By in Netherlands,

Queen of Hearts has the most lego face ever

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I love all of these, they are beautiful. Though I think Lego missed a trick by not having Aurora come with a randomly selected blue or pink dress.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Given the Article image it looks like this series is still foil pack as opposed to the Box that suppose to come out this year (thankfully).

Gravatar
By in United States,

These look great. I might just bite the bullet and buy a full box this time around.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Cruella is going to be cheap on eBay with people wanting 101 Dalmatian’s

…I’ll get my coat

Gravatar
By in Switzerland,

Robin Hood & Prince John of course - the movie is a masterpiece!

Gravatar
By in United Arab Emirates,

Baymax, absolutely.

But I am more excited by the Robin Hood and Prince John. This is my favourite Disney movie - saw it so many times when I was a kid.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Pinocchio's head with molded nose is an abomination. Regular minifigures should NOT have noses, not even printed ones... have they learned nothing from the '90's wild west Native American figs?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I love them all. But what I don't like are those capes. I can never get them to look right.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I’m not a big minifig collector but these are all really well done. The detailing on Ernesto de La Cruz is incredible!

Depends. If the nose is an attachment point for another part, like the candle, so you can make his nose "grow" then I think it's genius. Otherwise, they should have done a larger moulded head like they did with the Simpsons. Will wait for a review.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Well if they're switching to boxes this year I might as well get one last full series before I call it quits

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I need Robin Hood and Prince John

Gravatar
By in Austria,

Interesting that they also include Pixar characters.

If I'm not mistaken I believe this will be the last series that will use bags, the end of an era. I really hope going forward they include some sort of code in the boxes to identify each figure, otherwise it will be a nightmare for those of us looking for specific minifigures.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Is there confirmation that these will still be in bags instead of boxes?

Hate the boxes. You can’t tell what’s inside and the idea that they’re better for the environment is false since they contain a bag inside and are not recyclable. Laughable.

Gravatar
By in Hungary,

technically it is the 3. disney series...

Gravatar
By in United States,

Yes, finally! I'll try and pick up Pocahontas, Mulan, Robin Hood, and Prince John. Robin Hood was probably my favorite Disney movie growing up. It's a shame that they didn't include Sir Hiss, but they at least included the big two. The other two figures I'll pick up for the parts. I'm glad to see that Pocahontas includes three different colored leaves to add more value. Baymax is a little disappointing. He needs more bulk. I would love to see a Big Hero 6 set though. Hopefully I can find this series in stores. The last series was rather elusive.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Stitch! …although I would have preferred to see him with more of a snarl than a wry smile

Gravatar
By in Ireland,

Great to see Pocahontas get some representation for a change, her hairpiece looks fab.

Also really liking Dr Facilier, he looks suitably menacing.

Gravatar
By in Japan,

OSWALD!! And then Robin Hood and Prince John...and Tiana and Mulan...and..and...and there goes all my money!! ?????? This set actually looks like a much more balanced selection and really feels like Disney, much more than the previous series!! Good classic characters with a few secondary ones strewn in. Either way, even if i get the same one twice it'll be one to play with more and one for the collection. Total win in my book.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Oh wow, a new series?! These look really really good. I too will sit this one out, as I didn’t buy any from the previous series.

For most characters, perhaps, sure, but for Pinocchio?! His nose is one of the things for which he’s most known. Pinocchio without a nose would hardly be Pinocchio. And this one at least actually looks good, from what we can see of it.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I'm not familiar with the movies for some of the characters that would be in the last 20yrs including the skeleton looking figure with the guitar, but man is that an awesome looking minifig, will have to get that one for sure.

Do not collect the minifig series as i know if i started i would have to get them all (the cost!), but will pick up a copy of a truly excellent or personally interesting figure like the skeleton guy. He can go next to Beaker on my desk :)

Gravatar
By in United States,

I need Robin Hood and Prince John to go with 10305

Gravatar
By in United States,

The rendering of Jiminy Cricket shows small legs bending, which is impossible. That's deceptive advertising.

Gravatar
By in United States,

And with that, the number of Lego crickets available increases by 40%

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Anyone else look at this series and come to the realisation that they mustn’t have seen that many Disney films. Turns out I must be more of a Pixar fan than a Disney fan (and even then I haven’t seen any of their newer films)

I am the opposite here, I have seen 100% of these films & characters before.

Oswald is a sneaky addition, considering he'll soon enter public domain. Disney's last chance to wring money from him before the copyright ends their monopoly. I am sure his blue pants version is trademarked, but the original black & white character will soon be public property.

One of my friends realized that about me. She is forcing me to watch more Disney Princess movies because she thinks I am uncultured. I have only seen Moana, Mulan, Frozen, and Tangled as well as Hercules. I'm not sure where to put Lion King and Robin Hood, but I have seen those movies as well. I believe I have watched more Pixar, however, that doesn't necessarily mean too much.

Gravatar
By in Greece,

Has anyone counted how many crowns are in this series?? :-)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Baymax, Stitch, Robin Hood and Prince John the phony king of England, please. Wouldn't mind getting Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey and the Queen of Hearts as well, mainly to go alongside my Disney Castle and Alice figure respectively.

And just in case anyone's interested:
Oswald the Lucky Rabbit - various shorts (1926/7 - 1938)
Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket - Pinocchio (1940)
Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey - Fantasia (1940)
Tiana and Dr. Facilier - The Princess and the Frog (2009)
Queen of Hearts - Alice in Wonderland (1951)
Princess Aurora - Sleeping Beauty (1959)
Mulan - Mulan (1998)
Ernesto de la Cruz, Miguel and Dante - Coco (2017)
Pocahontas - Pocahontas (1995)
Cruella de Vil - 101 Dalmations (1961)
Robin Hood and Prince John - Robin Hood (1973)
Stitch 626 - Lilo and Stitch (2002)
Baymax - Big Hero 6 (2014)
The Queen - Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)

By in Norway,

Jiminy Cricket for my Mickey at the piano Christmas setup :)

Gravatar
By in United States,

Wow, some serious hits or misses here. The prints on many of these seem ugly or lacking. On the other hand, there are some must-pick-ups for me. Finally a four-armed Stitch! I had no idea how much I wanted this until just now. And the Evil Queen has a very versatile dress (albeit lacking detail) for castle MOCs.

Gravatar
By in Puerto Rico,

Ok, Pocahontas it is for my NA plans.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

I don't even know who half of them are, but Robin Hood is one of my all time favorite animated movies, so Robin and Prince John are my favs from the wave.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Wow, they even have the Ethical Bug from Puss in Boots 2: The Last Wish! I can't believe Dreamworks signed off on that.

...

(This is a thinly-veiled, glowing endorsement for the movie in question, it's legitimately phenomenal and you all deserve to see it.)

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

I'll probably get Sorceror's Apprentice Mickey since Fantasia is very nostalgic for me.

The Ernesto de la Cruz fig is also very cool, even though I didn't really like Coco that much.

Gravatar
By in United States,

All the Disney series have been strong, and this one looks to be the best of the three--not only do none of the minifigs seem like "duds," with even Stitch being more appealing than the Series 1 version, but there also aren't really any that will feel awkwardly incomplete unless you get specific other minifigs (no offense to all my extra Chips and Deweys, you make a wonderful clone army and are instrumental in my plan to conquer the universe). Though Snow White seems conspicuously absent.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Honestly these all look incredible!! I may have to bite the bullet and order a full case this time to 100% ensure I don’t miss out.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I'm a little surprised they included Ernesto when Héctor would have been the more logical match with Miguel...but he makes for a great figure, so I can't complain.

I really like this group of figures, and want quite a few whose characters I otherwise don't care too much about, they look that good! t's also good to see the queen skirt piece might actually be around to stay after finally being resurrected in the last series.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Be still my heart, scrolling down and suddenly seeing Robin Hood brought me back to my childhood in an instant. That was/is by far my favorite Disney movie - I used to watch it and then go use my Forest Men to rescue Maid Marian from the Lion Knights.

I also love Big Hero 6 and really want the Baymax mini. I just wish they had also made Hiro but he'd be relatively easy to proxy using other minifigure parts.

Gravatar
By in United States,

As others have so correctly noted, it is 1000 percent Robin Hood. I would love to see the entire cast of that all-time classic made into minifigures.

"Robin Hood and Little John walkin' through the forest ..."

Gravatar

Those guitars look mighty fine. Especially Ernesto’s.

Gravatar
By in Germany,

Wow Ninjago could really benefit from Stitch's four arms mould, finally we can get rid of these stacked body pieces, cool!

Gravatar
By in United States,

I don't even like Disney and I'm buying this.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I wonder why Mickey didn't have a dress piece for his legs. He looks very odd with legs instead of a robe/dress.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Funny that Snow White is missing, considering that she was the original Disney Princess

Gravatar

It is confirmed that this will be the last bagged series. The next series in September(rumored to be Marvel Series 2) will be in boxes. In some of the extra pictures on Lego's site, it shows that the Disney series will be in silver bags.

Gravatar
By in United States,

Does Jiminy have a new torso? It looks shorter than a standard one

Gravatar
By in United States,

Must have Stitch!

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Tiana and Facilier are practically must-gets; PatF is my girlfriend's favourite Princess movie, and they both look absolutely fantastic. I'd love to get Mulan and Pocahontas (first time she's been acknowledged by Lego at all!) too; and while I have little interest in a minifigure of Cruella, I definitely have my eye on the little Patch there with her.

Most of the others look good too, but just aren't for me personally. (And does Pinnochio have a moulded nose? On a minifigure??? That's weird to me...) But those four, I'm absolutely going to be looking out for.

Pretty solid wave, overall! (Even if it's still lacking my favourite character, Vanellope... xD)

Omg you are right, they should use this mold more often.

Gravatar
By in United States,

So that's Mulan! I didn't recognize her in the reveal article. I've already got the minidoll version, so it'd be nice to get a minifig version. Also, I actually want Pocahontas now, thanks to that compass and the leaf pieces. Tiana and Facilier remind me that I really need to get around to watching that movie. It's been on my Disney+ watchlist for ages...

@blackdeathgr: Five, although only two tiaras; the Queen of Hearts' seems to be molded with her hair, Prince Johns with his head, and The Queen's is a new mold with nothing else attached that I wonder if they'll find a way to re-use.

@darthnorman: I'm thinking it would be fun to combine the two.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

I can now make a custom minifig of Greez from jedi fallen order with 71038-16! I can't believe Pinochio actually has a nose! Some nice new crown elements. Could do with a minifig of Mirabel. I think there's something here for everybody!

Also, still plastic packaging so we can still know which ones we want! (Marvel CMF 2 will be first to not have this)

By in United Kingdom,

On the note with Cruella, I have to say it: I find it curious that the design of the puppy with her (Patch) is based on his appearance in the 2003 Direct-to-video sequel 101 Dalmatians II: Patch's London Adventure instead of how he looks in the original movie.

How can I tell? Two ways:

1 - In the classic movie, his black ear was the one on his right; it was the sequel that changed his black ear to be the left one instead. (I have a theory for why they changed this, but that's besides the immediate point!)

And 2 - none of the Dalmatian puppies had tags on their collars in the classic movie; the parents had them, but the puppies only got theirs at the beginning of the sequel.

Which... I am not at all complaining about because, while I know that the DTV sequels have a reputation for being cheap, I like some of them; and Patch's London Adventure is for sure among my top-five of them (no, it's not up to the quality of the original, but it IS a very fun ride nonetheless), and Patch himself is quite adorable in it.

I just find it interesting that they went with that particular design decision here, though. And I wonder if it was deliberate, or if they meant to base him off the original look and didn't realise.

Gravatar
By in United States,

As much I have to admit that these are *fantabulously* done, I can’t help but admit I’m just a bit disappointed in some of the character choices. Not like I didn’t expect that to happen, but it’d still be nice to get a Belle or possibly even Cinderella over Jiminy or Pocahontus.

A grim and gritty reboot? Snow White and the Seven Samurai?"

I’m not a big Disney fan, but Snow White vs the Seven Samurai? I’d watch that :~D

Seriously, some of these such as The Queen can be modded to create generic fantasy minifigures. So the minifigures from this series that appeal most to me are probably not the ones that will be the most popular. I’m more interested in them for parts.

Gravatar
By in United States,

No Snow White here when we get the Evil Queen is a pretty reliable spoiler that the Snow White and Dwarf cottage will be coming. Or so it seems to me. And poison appleage with a Crone would def be a plus!

And that Aurora owl is totally gonna be joining my Winnie the Pooh and team, even if the color isn’t a precise match.

And while Mulan’s wig sculpt sucks, had there been a little Mushu included all would have been forgiven.

It's hardly a new thing. I'm pretty sure most of the CMF renders have shown poses that are impossible, with things like bent heads or limbs that are positioned in an impossible way (see 8683-1 as a prime example)

Aurora would make a nice addition to castle sets like 10305 or 31120, both of which I've always felt were missing a princess minifig. Too bad she doesn't have her peasant dress or blue dress.

Gravatar
By in Estonia,

If it had been up to me I would have made a hole through Pinocchio's head, so a bar could be slided through (growing nose feature). Of course the torso also would have needed modification (shorter stud).

By in United States,

Cruella de 's dalmation the colar doesn't go completely around...
maybe I'm wrong but looks terrible.

WHY on some they put effort into design around whole figure
on rest just front...A penny paint rest of figure?

Gravatar
By in Spain,

As previous Disney CMF series, I will buy them all, but this time I feel like some characters are not so good:

- Pinocchio 71038-2 should have bigger, white and blue eyes (the nose is ok, as it is an essential part of the character).

- Sorcerer Mickey 71038-4 may have a red skirt part 36036 printed as the lower part of his dress, or at least add a red cloth behind his legs.

- Queen of Hearts 71038-7 has an odd expression, I hope it is dual-faced with a more angry expression, and although the heart-shaped scepter is fine, I'd have preferred her to come with a flamingo.

- Robin Hood 71038-14 is great, but should have a quiver.

- Baymax 71038-17 seems disproportioned to me, it should have medium size legs and a more bulky body (perhaps with a kind of rounded armor piece over the torso).

- The Mirror in 71038-18 should be a green mask illuminated from below, as it appears here it resembles a wrestling mask to me.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be picky, these are just my impressions about some of the design decisions. All in all, it is as great as the previous series and offers many new Disney characters, so it's a must-have for me.

Gravatar
By in Australia,

In the minority here, but I adore Baymax. Big Hero 6 was quite a memorable movie to me and there is a certain sentiment whenever I hear "Immortals".

I might try to pick up Stitch, Oswald, Mickey, and of course Baymax.

Also, notice the fabric elements used for Cruella and King John. Those look like the ones used for the ARC Trooper and Chancellor Palpatine. A little far fetched here but I'm thinking that they reintroduced the element for more clone troopers to use in the Clone Wars 20th Anniversary lineup.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Aww, I'll be needing a few of these. Sad to see we're still not getting a Lilo though!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Honestly, I love these! Some stray thoughts:

- As many have stated, Pinocchio's nose is a memorable part of his character design, so including it here makes sense to me.

- The new mold used for Baymax's arms goes a long way in making this character work, but I still feel like there might have been a better way to capture his heft.

- I really feel like they should have included Lilo instead of a variant of Stitch.

- I think Cruella looks fantastic--a large item of clothing like her coat is difficult to capture with minifigures, but this works well to me.

- I really hope we see figures of Snow White, Belle, and The Beast before the year is up!

Gravatar
By in United States,

Baymax should have probably included an element similar to Ned-B. I think midlegs would help as well.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

A lovely selection of figures, I can see quite a few sitting in and around my Lion's Castle :)

As for my favourite, it's between Robin Hood and Mickey as the Apprentice.

Just like that BTS dynamite set and all those games- linked sets.
I remember Robin Hood from back in the day, and Fantasia, of course, but these licenced products are not necessarily for us.
Unfortunately, I'm addicted. I'll be getting them as I have all the other CMFs... And it's a set of 18. Oh well.

The white mask print on black head was decent on Skeleton Guy, Series 14 CMF. I'd wager on extra care being put into the collectable figs compared to other themes.

90-ish percent, I don't really want...however, Robin Hood and Prince John (you got THE WRONG JOHN TLG...). Maybe Mickey, as I'd pit him against Bugs and an army of 'Rabbots' I built from B&P parts from 80032...

Gravatar

The only questionable one is Pinochio. Which is creepier than Tom Hanks in the recent movie. Most of the rest are gorgeous. Although the Stitch arms are a bit odd.

Cant believe no one is talking about stitch! Look at those double arms. And baymax's new arms are an amazing new mold
