By in United Kingdom,

Its a lovely set, so simple I magpied it and saved myself £45... and between you and me, it was more fun reverse engineering it with a few tweeks anyway.

By in United Kingdom,

I'll be holding off for a while having just splurged on Star Wars Day. But this is high on the want list for sure.

UK homepage says it's VIP early access from today - nothing to indicate that on the product page.

Definitely going to have to pick up this one at some point

By in United Kingdom,

I find it subtly ironic that the section lego added on (probably to match the price point it was given) is left on its own but the 3 that where designed originally are all connected up.

It's certainly lovely to look at, though I'd mod the black hole one to look either more or less like a UFO; it's too 'TfL' for sure at the moment. Edit: I wondered why it disturbed me quite so much! Specifically the green colouring gives me subconscious flashbacks to Mitcham and the Croydon tram...

The other factor is of course the ever-present financial pinch! This can be an expensive hobby and the last couple of years have seen some serious reigning-in of spending.
Maybe it's a set to consider if it ever gets discounted.

By in Ireland,

Anyone know if the circular shape in the green model can be rotated at all? Would like to be able to turn it away from perfectly level. If no way to rotate, it won't be hard to mod a little.
