Black-and-White Arrow, from Earth 49, doesn't look like a very impressive superhero. I mean, who carries a gold Yoda action figure in their pocket while fighting crime?

Nice tie bar with matching belt buckle, sharp.

Aw, how cute! They even have their own Junior Aviators badge, how delightful. I bet they'll be a great pilot when they grow up, just you wait.

Joey... you like movies about gladiators?

This guy can fly both commercial and passenger aircraft so kudos to him. Having both, I can say they are are fun for the kids to play with but I'd say that the cargo plane has a bit more value.

I really like this figure. I also think the dark blue tie is better than green on previous pilots. While I do really like this new style, I miss the old black double-breasted suits with the aeroplane logo on them. It would be really cool if they brought that print back (with back printing and slightly more detailed print overall), and had one pilot with jacket on and one with jacket off for more variety.

@PurpleDave: It's 'the tie' throwing you off, isn't it...Only "The Question" should be wearing a tie in his hero identify...well, also "The Spirit"...and "Midnight"...and...you know what: it's fine, IT'S FINE...:D

@ SideSalad:
Elaine: "You got a letter from headquarters this morning."
Ted: "What is it?"
Elaine: "It's a big building where generals meet, but that's not important."
(The movie that just keeps giving...:))

What's your vector, Victor?

Listen, kid. I've been hearing that crap ever since I was at UCLA. I'm out there busting my buns every night. Tell your old man to drag Walton and Lanier up and down the court for 48 minutes.

We just did this already (but, can never be done too often), with the Ted Striker minifigure.

Hey, I have this guy! I got most of a Cargo Plane in a used lot, which was a pleasant enough surprise, because I missed out on most City era Town sets, though I enjoy Town/City as a theme. The captain here has been disassembled, though and spread out. His core (head and torso) has turned into my naval admiral--air wings not withstanding.
