By in Belgium,

I really like this GWP. May I'll cave in and buy the Castle, but only if there is another GWP on offer, or else I'll buy for just over €100 worth of Disney sets, despite the fact that they're nearly all (e.g. 10998 being an exception) available at a discount elsewhere.

By in Norway,

Mickey minifig *and* a light brick in a GWP set? Not bad! Hopefully there will be some overlap between this and the third Houses of the World so we can get them both in one order.

By in United States,

When they say 'Disney set' I assume that doesn't include Marvel or Star Wars?

By in United Kingdom,

Blimey, that colour scheme wouldn't look out of place in the Temple of Doom...

By in United Kingdom,

Very nice GWP with a surprisingly reasonable threshold. Time to catch up on a couple of smaller Disney sets not currently discounted elsewhere.

Also quite cunning having 43232 available on pre-order 2 months in advance. Price not quite so painful with a decent GWP!

Nice desk.

By in Australia,

Meh! If they were silver chrome bricks like what’s on the box, then yeah sure but pass.

Thought it had a box of KFC on it for a second!

By in Netherlands,

Lol, at first I just noticed the price, and thought they now went completely insane....but it's only the threshold. And a quite reasonable one at that.

To me, this seems like GWP done well: A nice bonus that might convince people to buy stuff from Lego directly, but not something people would stand in line for just to get the regular way (and as a result would feel frustrated when not able to get it without having to do big unwanted purchases....).

And for what it is, the set itself looks quite nice!

By in United States,

Well, I'm just glad you don't have to order the Castle specifically to get this set, just any Disney sets. Time to pull the trigger on 43217, among other things.

@MisterBrickster : Well, Star Wars products (and not just Lego) *do* have the Disney logo on them, but yeah, I don't think they'll count. I've never understood why Disney feels the need to brand Star Wars suff, but not Marvel stuff. Both studios' movies and shows are available on Disney+, after all.

By in New Zealand,

That's a neat little GWP and the threshold isn't unreasonable either. Why can't *all* GWPs be handled like this?! But will it convince me to get my first Disney theme set? Dunno....

On a side note, is there an issue with the page or is it just me that's getting images loading at dial-up speed? (Ask your parents, kids!)

EDIT: Or grandparents. Boy, do those days of Baud rates seem like ancient history!

What? You mean it's time to think about upgrading my acoustic coupler?

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

When I'm 100 years old I hope I don't sit in my one-person cinema watching old movies of myself eating my one-person helping of popcorn

By in France,

Gotta love that they picked a picture of Disneyland Paris castle for the box of a GWP clearly designed to help the sells of the Orlando castle lol.

By in United States,

Can we get some F’s in the chat for the wallets of the Disney lovers going after every single “Disney 100” release?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I do love the projection technique. Perhaps a mod for my Palace Cinema?

Gravatar
By in United States,

I’m not a huge fan of this set, it seems kind of jumbled to me and a little disjointed. I don’t want to display any pictures, so it’s not that appealing to me. However, I am glad the threshold isn’t absurd, and it would be quite easy to get given the number of Disney sets out.

Gravatar
By in Belgium,

Finally a projector for the Palace Cinema :)

Rumoured to be in another Disney 100 set later this year with a film camera.

Disney theme better?

Gravatar
By in Canada,

Oh, I like this. The light up projection feature is pretty cute.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I dont understand the GWP pricing structure. $100 spend for this is fantastic. $250 spend for the flowerpot or the houses of the world ridiculous.

And a cryofreeze chamber. It’ll be an add on to the Disney castle

I assume it won't really work well... light-up bricks have always been quite dim. I am curious to find out though.

This isn't just a $100 spend though, it is a $100 spend on Disney products which tend to be rather overpriced. The $250 thresholds can be made with all ranges and types of products.

I legit thought this was another LEGO Mario Bowser Lava Expansion at first glance, honestly.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I have to say that this set looks great and may actually convince me to buy the castle. But for now I got to get some sleep as I have a long day ahead of me in the heat at Hong Kong Disneyland.

Gravatar
By in United States,

$100 is a very reasonable threshold for such a nice set. Unfortunately I'm not planning any Disney purchases, only non-Disney purchases.

Gravatar
By in United Kingdom,

Is this 100 year’s celebration or 20?
What about Walt Disney drawing in his studio inside an extra castle tower with a golden mickey mouse statue?
…no?
I’ll get my coat.

Gravatar
By in Canada,

The one nice thing about the set is the Mickey Mouse logo tile, but the set itself is nothing special.

Gravatar
By in United States,

I really wish other GWPs were at this threshold! $100 for this? That's an amazing deal in my opinion. I would love to see more price thresholds like this in the future.

It's lower because only Disney sets count for this.

Explain literally any SW GWP then.

Me too. I hope I’m sitting there watching old movies with a jumbo popcorn. (If I make it to 100, I’ve earned the right to binge eat junk food.)
