The first of the month once again heralds the arrival of new sets at LEGO.com, although not many this time. In fact, there are only two launching today, 21341 Disney Hocus Pocus: The Sanderson Sisters' Cottage and 43222 Disney Castle.

We have a few more days to wait, until the 4th, before we can get hold of 10320 Eldorado Fortress.

Additionally, 40600 Disney 100 Years Celebration is now free with purchases over $100 / £95 / €100 of Disney sets.

Cashed in points and got $100 off the Disney Castle and scooped up the Disney gift with purchase. So, I'm happy.

I…realized I’ve just never been a big enough Disneyphile that I actually desire the GWP enough to drop a C-note to get it. I think I’m gonna pass on this one.

Looks like the Disney gift with purchase applies to the Hocus Pocus set too!

Funny to see 41963 sell out within a few minutes... a very obvious Disney threshold top-up set!

" @Huw Any ideas when 40594 GWP kicks in?"

The information we were provided with when the set was offered for review stated the 1st July but clearly that's not the case. So, no idea!

By in Australia,

I just wish August would come sooner so I can get my hands on Lego Sonic and Dreamzzz!

I’m at the Lego store in Leeds for the free Disney Castle build at 10am and there is a queue 30+ people!

Bit of a struggle to meet the £95 threshold. I bought the Disney castle years ago.

Disney owns Lucasfilm (SW and IJ), Marvel, and Pixar, so any of these themes _should_ qualify. Hocus Pocus is a Disney film as well, so that should work in addition to Disney proper and Disney Princess.

This is annoying as I thought it was only sets from the Disney theme page that were eligible.

At least on the German version of the LEGO Shop website it clearly states that Marvel and Star Wars sets are NOT eligible for the Disney GWP.

Oh, yup, listed as exceptions here, too, which I guess identifies which of the Disney-owned IP is selling the most sets. I pulled up the full list of qualifying sets, and there are 75 items (a few of these are out of stock, and don’t accept backorders, but they still show regardless).

Qualifying themes include anything involving Mickey Mouse, Disney theme parks, Disney Princess (including Frozen, which got bundled into the LEGO theme even though Disney keeps them separate), Pixar films (mostly just Lightyear and the Up house right now), and Winnie the Pooh. It covers these sets across minifig themes, minidoll themes, Brickheadz, Duplo, DOTS, and keychains.

For the castle- I thought there was special commemorative packaging that is only available for a limited time? Are the box images I see online it? It looks relatively standard (nice though!).

GWP sold out already in the US?

I'm glad I ordered just after midnight as the promo is not showing up now when I tried to add the mermaid set to my cart. It didn't last long.

I would hope so, since Disney is in the set's title.
