The ultimate minifig display cases now 50% off in the USA
Posted by Huw,Digs for Figs, manufacturers of minifig display frames, is offering customers in the USA 50% off all its frame until July 4th.
We reviewed the case a few years ago, and it remains without doubt my favourite minifig display solution: there's plenty of room for oversized figures and their accessories, and the enclosed design incorporating a hinged door keeps dust at bay and the figures easily accessible.
The cases therefore now cost $54.50 when you use the coupon code USA50 at checkout.
Head on over to DigsForFigs.com to find out more and to place your order.
Small print: baseplates and delivery not included. The coupon expires on July 4th 2023 and is only valid for customers in the USA. Orders with non USA addresses or payments with other currencies will be canceled and refunded.

Ordered 2 cases but skipped the baseplates. Since they come directly from LEGO I can order them myself and save on shipping costs. Very cool deal, excited about it.

You will not be disappointed. I have series 1-21 displayed in 3 cases and now need a fourth :)
Was going to grab a white frame and then shipping was 34 dollars. Dang it!

That’ll be the same for most of these cases as they are all made in Europe.

I didn’t like the shipping amount either but in all my searching I haven’t found a display case as nice as these. You can really pack a lot of stuff in there. I think I saved a little money as well by not ordering the base plates from them. I can get them from LEGO myself, they’re a Bestseller part so I would have them in a few days. And I can pick the color instead of just white or black.
Also, the cost of the case at half price with tax/shipping is still cheaper than the regular price case with tax/shipping.
Ordered! Thank you for sharing this info!
Discount only for the US? It’s like losing the colonies all over again.
They’ve risen 40% in cost these past 4 years and shipping is $25 to me. Ouch.
For those who already own it, does it have a clean seal and do a good job of keeping out dust?
How does one even find the option for shipping to Canada? The site just shows out-of-stock for both frame colours. Also, US-only for the discount? Big bummer. Shipping here costs a lot too, and we're next door!
Got mine, thanks for the heads up! Finally my years of not knowing how I should display figures without taking up tons of shelf space are answered!

They are not hermetically sealed but do a good enough job of keeping dust at bay, while also ensuring the figures are easily accessible.
Thanks for the heads-up...while more expensive than the shadow box I picked up at a big box craft store several years ago, this appears to be much better quality. Frankly, I'm surprised shipping from Europe wasn't more expensive (~$23) for me. Definitely will be bricklinking for base plates though...can get them significantly cheaper there.
Asimov: Sir, I think we found them. There's a group of brightly coloured ninjas heading towards the obviously dangerous jungle.
Garmadon: Hmm. Zoom in, a little closer. Closer. Close- clo- no, closer. Closer. Yes! Right in on my stupid brother's dirty beard. What's he saying? Something about a minifig display case, the... omelette, omelette minifig display case. Sounds delicious. Delicious, yet quite possibly dangerous.
Asimov: He's talking about an Ultimate Ultimate minifig display case.
Garmadon: That's what I said. Ultimate, Omelette minifig display case.
Asimov: Sir! Where are you going?
Garmadon: This is pure warrior stuff. Alone in the field, tracking ninjas, finding out exactly what Luh-Lloyd meant when he said, “I wish you weren't my father.” So I guess I'm going to the jungle.
Glad i just saw this. I bought mine when they were initially reviewed in 2019 and used it briefly but had to pack it up when I moved house. It actually fell over in the removals van last year, but luckily it was in the original packaging. I haven’t opened it up since…. too scared in case it’s damaged! I’m going to open up the box tomorrow…fingers crossed!
These look really good and with the discount might be worth it. I use some shelves I found at Michael’s and they work really well. And they are usually on a discount so three of them equals one of these after shipping with a discount.

Can you provide a link to the cases at Michaels? I would like to compare to this one.

Those Michaels ones are a great deal, a bit on the dark side (interior light-wise) but a great price. Probably why they are never in stock around me.
I would love to be able to get 10 of those white DFF cases. But I no got 1K+ sitting around. Too bad I have no real man skills to speak of. I envy people who can build their own shelving. Men or women for that matter.

Shipping kills the deal. $175 shipping to US for 5 cases. What are these made out of BTW?
Wow, it was £65 in 2019 without the plates, and now it's £90. The 50% discount just about brings it to the previous price from 2019?
Evidently the website coded the promo code to end 12am July 4th in England's time zone, despite the promo being for the US, where it's just after 7pm EST. Sent them an email and really hoping they'll throw me a bone for being late to the party.

Same here. Oh, the irony of a July 4th sale that doesn’t work for American buyers.

Hi, all amended now. Coupon has been reactivated.
Apologies for any inconvenience caused and
Happy 4th of July :-)
Thanks! But I just tried it again, and now it says that that ‘Coupon "usa50" does not exist!‘ (I did enter it in all caps like USA50, but the error message lowercased it.)
Another option for those in the USA that I've used are display cases from SFdisplay. They usually ship free and come in various sizes in terms of minifig count. They are not as deep as these which are nice for scene creation. If you simply want to display minifigs then it may be a good option to display as much (or more) in terms of price per minifig for all-in cost. They too go on sale around holidays so wait for those times like 4th of July, Christmas, Black Friday, etc.

Hiya, I'm sorry... it should be working now. Think it took a moment to update. I've just tried it and it works. :-)
I can't get the website to load.
