10% off Wicked Brick display solutions
Posted by Huw,Here at Brickset Towers we're big fans of Wicked Brick's display cases and stands and have reviewed several of them over the years.
So, we've teamed up with them to make it easier to see the display solutions available for particular sets by adding a box on the set details pages showing the set in a case or on a stand, such as the one on the right for 21336 The Office. We've added the company's bestsellers to our database already and will add more in the coming weeks.
To celebrate this new partnership Wicked Brick is offering Brickset readers 10% off all orders until midnight Wednesday 9th August BST (GMT+1) when you use the code WICKEDBRICKSET at checkout.
Have a look the entire selection of display solutions at WickedBrick.com and take advantage of this offer while you can!

Stop touching my bricks!
"This is a sophisticated interlocking brick modeling system."
"But, it's a toy for kids."
"Not the way I'm using it."
"But, on the box it said 8 and up."
"They have to put that there."
I’m sorry to be ‘that’ guy, but given the premium products that WB sell I feel that the shipping costs are ridiculous. Approximately €24 to ship to the Netherlands? No, thank you. I was seriously considering picking up a few display stands with the discount, but no. Just no.

Their lead times are horrendous as well, was understandable in Covid times. But there’s no excuse for that now, there’s also other options out there now as the market becomes more competitive and a lot of them have much quicker shipping.

Agreed. My last case took 7 weeks to ship. I could understand if it was a custom special product, but it's a plastic box. Well-made for sure, but not worth the wait with so many other options out there.
Of course I ordered something 3 days ago. Will have to see if I can get some $$ back...

But... If the construction guy... said something to President Business... what would he say?

You do understand that wicked brick sells custom special products, right? I’ve never bought from them before but considering how popular they are and the quality of the product, waiting a few weeks should be expected.
My first order took over 12 weeks to arrive and only then when I chased. 2nd order made end on June, still waiting, only went back as they had the 24 car speed champions case which I liked.
However also purchased from Boxxco and Idisplsyit. Both similar quality, prices around the same or cheaper and both arrived within two weeks. Looking at them first in the future, but agree with comments above that the display case cost is sometimes the same or more than the Lego product you want to put in it!
@Huw, there's a broken link:

^ Sorted, thanks
Good offer, if the case I looked at on Thursday at £169.99, was not £189.99 today
if shipping was more affordable. I took 1 order - currently waiting 6 weeks. And shipping cost to Slovakia - 46 EUR is too much. But I took some free display and 15% off during their birthday promo. So with all discounts saved amount was just converted for shipping cost. And Slovakia is not so far away from germany where shipping is around 24 eur- which is quite high as well. I got a multiple orders from bricklink stores from UK for 15 and less.
I love WB, but the long delivery periods have definitely tested my patience, I've got sets un-built as I'm waiting for the case.
Lead times are due to their model of Made to Order. I assume as they've gotten bigger, they're struggling with demand. I received an email at the end of July where they outlined a decision, based on customer feedback to change to Made to Stock for the more popular products.
So hopefully, us customers will start to see a reduction in delivery times.
"This step marks the beginning of our new approach, offering an improved buying experience by shipping 1-3 days from purchase."
I'm building The Office set right now, and I'm not sure where I'm going to put it. Thanks for posting!
Even with a 10% discount WickedBrick has turned into a rip-off.
They were great when they started: their products had quality, the price was reasonable (not cheap but fair), their shipping times were good and their shipping costs OK.
Then they started overextending themselves. Their catalogue grew massively beyond the point of manageability and on top of that, they absolutely FAILED to adapt to the realities of Brexit.
So what do we have now? We have a company that charges almost the same for an acrylic display than the set costs (price is is NOT the result of the materials costs, 'cause I've had a local manufacturer cut me some similar acrylic boxes and they cost me less than 1/3 of what WB charges, even with VAT at 23%), with ABSURD shipping costs, and with absolutely ridiculous waiting time lists.
These waiting times wouldn't be so absolutely egregious if they didn't immediately charge you for the product which they will only produce months from now.
So yeah.
I still have a bunch of their cases and stands, I really liked their products, but they've lost me as a customer.
They're just not worth the price AND headaches.
looks cool, but tax and shipping to EU. Ouch!!
They probably invest the money we pay into stocks and bonds and ship the product if and when that investment brings an additional gain ??
Shipment times are really testing my nerve as well (live in the UK so no issues with customs…).
I have close to 40 sets displayed in WB cases so a bit reluctant to test other companies but will do if they insist on charging Lego set prices for the case itself!
