10318 Concorde and what is arguably the best set of the year so far, 21342 The Insect Collection, are now available at LEGO.com to LEGO Insiders.

The latter is surprisingly reasonably priced and if you've not read our review yet you'll find it here.

*subjective ;-)

It's all dependent on how one feels about metre-long, white isosceles triangles.

I was just thinking exactly the same :-D
At first glance it seems like a pretty much perfect set with also a quite reasonable price. I wonder when we get the review to confirm those feelings?

By in Australia,

The Concorde will be a hard one to resist. Couldn’t care less about the insects.

Concorde ordered! After all, decent aicraft models from TLG are scarce.
Will there be an official Brickset review?

Yes. We didn't receive the review copy until late last week so give us a day or two.

@bananaworld: @Huw did say "arguably." One thing that 21342 definitely has over 10318 : Easier to find display space, especially since 10318 isn't composed of three models that can be arranged however you want or even displayed in three separate location, if you so choose.

That said, 10318 can actually be very efficient. I mean, those wings are big enough to use as triangular shelves. And the stand seems high enough to put other stuff underneath the plane. If you have the space, it basically doubles it!

Hopefully people on Bricklink offer to split this up and sell the individual insect builds separately. I’m interested in the butterfly build, but not really the other two.

I'd say they're arguably the 2 best sets of the year!
Obviously why there was no need to offer any GWP enticements... must stay strong....

By in Canada,

I just went through the building plans of the Concorde 10318. This is a marvel! (in real life but also in Lego form) Just from the pictures, it seems that this will be a building experience just as good as the likes of Saturn V 21309, 92176, Space Shuttle 10283 or even the Galaxy Explorer 10497. One might think that this has to do with the delta wings but the technique used for the Concorde is very different that what is used for 10497 or 10283. Your mileage may vary and I understand that finding a place for this might be difficult (I think I will have to attach it to the ceiling) but I was definitely impressed by the building process.

^ No, my Classic Space collection is perfectly happy to agree with your principle of "all things with delta wings are excellent."
